The best gynecologist of all time. What an amazing and caring OBGYN!.

I highly respect Dr. Berens. She is, also, highly respected and recommended by hospital staff. I had a rough experience with my first pregnancy, which led to a c-section. The doctor I was using at the time did not allow my husband or me to have a say on anything with the pregnancy or delivery, so it was so exciting to talk with Dr. Berens and to hear her ask what we were going to do, and to say that things were our decision. She is very knowledgeable and would give all of the info we needed in order to make the decisions that were right for us. She never leaned in favor or opposition to our decisions, she just took them and truly served us. We had a successful vbac and I could not be more grateful to her and for her! I understand it doesn't always work out that way, but I'm so thankful for all she did to help ours be successful. She is truly caring and has a passion for what she does. I highly respect Dr. Berens. Was referred to this doctor by my current obgyn. I have called the office numerous times. Have been put on hold for extended periods of time and then sent around in circles from one desk to another ???? unimpressed

I have been seeing Dr. Berens since I was 14 years old. I am now 31. She is the absolute best and works very hard to keep her clients healthy and satisfied. The most splendid MD ever!!!

This is the most caring and efficient doctor that I have encountered in this field. Thank you very much. You were awesome with all your staff!

Dr.Berrens is caring and very thorough. I never feel rushed during my appointments and her nurse Deborah is so sweet. I mostly visit the bellaire office but both locations are great. Deborah even knows me by my first name she goes above and beyond to take care of Dr. Berrens patients. She is prompt on getting questions answered and my pharmacy always compliments her. I do not recommend her for anyone, not even my enemies. no appointment was seen without waiting for at least an hour or two. At my 41st week of pregnancy, I was given an appointment at 11:15 am and was seen by her at 5:35 pm with not a single word of apology or a tinge of guilt feel. In the labor ward, I was seen only by her junior residents(1st year's) and they experimented on me by her telephonic instructions which led to 32 long hours of labor with no benefits and finally leading to a C sec

She is amazing. I've been her patient since I was 18 and since she has delivered all of my children. She actually cares about her patients, she make me feel safe in her care. I'm 37 and I'm still her patient. That tells a lot.

Seemed to care at appointment. Had surgery with her and have never received such biased and inhumane treatment. Pain, even after major surgery, is of no consequence or importance to this dr or her equally biased and I humane staff of residents. For hours after major surgery they let me suffer in the agony of intense pain while I begged for pain medication until they have me something mild that barely worked. Took me several more hours to get anything stronger. Do not see this dr for gynecology!!

Absolutely an amazing doctor. She is the reason my son is alive. She took very great care of me and my unborn child throughout my pregnancy, and was by my side through my emergency delivery. She showed interest in my concerns and listened to my worries. I'm so greatful for Dr.Berens. I highly recommend her for your OB care.

I am a new patient to Dr. Berens and am so impressed by her and the UT Memorial Herman staff in the Bellair office. From making the appointment to the front desk to the nurses I met, the staff couldn't have been more friendly and AWARE of me as a patient. Each made a point of taking time to ask thorough questions, answer MY questions, smile, make eye contact and not seem preoccupied as often found in a busy office nowadays. As for Dr. Berens--she couldn't have been more generous with her time and her information. She treated me as a knowledgeable woman with respect for my views and desires for my treatment and we came up with a mutually agreed upon plan of action. In a follow up call by her nurse about some test results, I had a question that didn't need an immediate answer but instead of calling me back, Dr. Berens came on the phone to answer the question immediately. I really appreciate that attention and am glad to have her on my team. I am a new patient to Dr. Berens and am so impressed by her and the UT Memorial Herman staff in the Bellair office.
