Dr. Padmavathy Uppalapati

I have been going to this provider for a few years now. She is excellent! Always has time to listen and tries to get to the root of rhe problem. Highly recommend her ????.

She goes out of the way to ensure we get the best treatment for root cause of the problems instead of just symptoms. I had done about 3 years research and after 2 states and few other cardiologist, end up with her . If you are wondering if the Cardiologist have the time to think and research about your problems before writing a blind sided prescriptions , you came to the right place. She comes highly recommended by other senior doctors in the city, who also uses her for their own health issues. Empathetic, research based, open minded intelligence is what I noticed on her treatment plan.

Dr Uppalapati has been my cardiologist now for some 6 years. I could not even ask for someone else as to me, she's the very best. She shows she cares for her patients & their well being. I highly recommend Dr Uppalapati for your cardiologist .. She's at the Cottonwood Medical Center in Irving Texas..

Dr. Uppalapati is a wonderful doctor who is attentive and listens to what I am saying. No issue that I am experiencing is too small or unimportant. She answers all of my questions and explains everything to me, making sure that I understand everything. She seemed very rushed. Didn't answer my questions. She didn't even examine me. Left with my head spinning! I would not recommend her to anyone, and will not return.

Dr. Padmavathy Uppalapati is not only the best cardiologist I know, but one very intelligent and attentive doctor. She listens to you in a manner that you know she is not only doing her job but cares about your well-being. I found myself talking to her about a personal problem and she wrapped her arms around me and told me that she truly understood. Dr. Uppalapati understood my feeling and explained how she felt my pain and sadness. I will forever be grateful to her and I recommend her 150% to anyone that is looking for a great cardiologist. Great doctor. She really takes time to get to know the patient.

I just recently started going to Dr.Uppalapati for management of hypertension. I was diagnosed during my pregnancy , and was told by the hospital internist that a PCP would be able to manage it postpartum . I actually tried two PCPs and was very displeased with the results and their lack of listening to my concerns. I decided that I wanted to see a cardiologist to get an expert opinion and help. I ended up seeing Dr.Uppalapti on the list of my insurance provider's list of cardiologists ;She's definitely my angel!!! She understood my concerns without me even telling her, set expectations, very thorough in explanations /knowledgeable, and ordered necessary tests that I've been waiting to have done the past 6 months to get me on the right track. I've had a rough postpartum period prior to meeting her, but I have the confidence that she's going to get me headed in the right, healthy direction . I feel when you have uncontrolled hypertension ON MEDS, please go see a cardiologists!!!! Save yourself the trouble of dealing with PCPs. She breezed in with barely a good morning and was gone in less than a minute. Her only comment, "Everything is okay!" Well dear doctor, if everything was okay why am I sitting here getting worked up for a cardiac problem??? She never asked if I had any questions or if I had any concerns. I got the impression she couldn't care less.

Dr. Uppalapati was running a little over 45 minutes behind due to other doctors referring urgent care patients to her due to the Thanksgiving holiday, but it was worth the wait! Once she was in the patient room, she gave me 100% of her focused attention, asking all kinds of questions I hadn't considered and making sure she had a comprehensive understanding of my concerns/issues. I immediately felt I was in great care!! She'll be my cardiologist as long as I live in Irving!

Dr. Uppalpati is kind hearted and spends the time needed to calm her patients and make them feel secure again. I found her very thorough, very informative, and generous in explaining the details of my procedures to me. She showed me great respect as a patient and as a person, and I feel safe when I am under her care. She encourages me to take good care of myself. Her staff are excellent and answer my questions when I send messages through their patient portal. I couldn't ask for a better doctor!
