The office staff, nurses and techs are amazing at this office. They reflect the integrity, professionalism and caring that Dr. Gilliam gives to his patients.

Never have pain during colonoscopy like I had with a previous one.

I came for a visit today as my symptoms had gotten much worse recently. My last visit was in Jan 2018. Dr. Gilliam told me I had gained an "excessive" amount of weight over two years (15 lb weight gain) and that all of my issues were likely weight related. When I reiterated that I had these symptoms two years ago before I gained weight, he refused to listen or consider other causes. For reference, I'm 5'5" female, 165 lb, a size 6 in clothes. I am not obese by any stretch of the imagination and there is no medical reason my weight would be causing issues. He then proceed to spend the rest of my visit fat shaming me and denying my symptoms. He went so far as to ask me if I was sure that the gallbladder I had removed 8 years ago had actually been diseased. I have never experienced a more unprofessional provider. I would not recommend this provider for any reason, particularly not if you have previous issues with food restrictions or weight management.

He's retired on the job. After the colonoscopy, I still had diarrhea for 9 days. Then severe diverticulitis. I called and called their on call # listed and the handout sheet given after colonoscopy . I left messages no call back in six hours . I lateo r called the answering service and they said he was not one of their clients! While still in the hospital I again called their office . Their statement was ha ha the doctor on call had a defective beeper. There is more but this was the most egregious

Dr. Gilliam is exceptional. He has outstanding skills as well as being kind and approachable. Both my husband and I have gone to him for several years. We know a number of physicians that go to him for care which tells you a lot. We trust him completely.

I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy done 2 weeks ago. After the procedure, he told me I needed another test, and his office would call me. The hospital said to call him if I didn't have my results in a week so I did. They lady I talked to was rude, and said she could see the results in his inbox and he hadn't reviewed them. I then asked about the additional cost and she rudely said We don't have any notes so we can't do anything until we have notes. We hung up leaving me with no answers.

You couldn't be in better hands! My husband and I been patients of Dr Gilliam's for the last 25 years. Great "bedside manners".

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Gilliam.He’s made me feel safe, cared for, and comfortable for over 20 years! His practice has shown nothing other than kindness and patience. You’re more than an awesome Doctor to me; I also value the fact that your a great listener. Again, Thanks for your care, attention, warmth, and humor!!

My experience with Dr. Gilliam was ok. I had a severe gastrointestinal issue that was complicated and difficult to diagnose. During my first few visits, Dr. Gilliam was patient and helped me well. But when my symptoms didn't seem to be going away, I went back to see him a few more times. It was during this time that Dr. Gilliam's attitude towards me changed. He became reluctant to see me each time I would visit. If he could remain good even when your issue lingers, then he'd be a good doctor.

I can't really rate Dr. Gilliam since I'm still waiting for a call back to schedule. His scheduling staff is terrible and does not return telephone calls.

Unsympathetic to patient's pain, and indifferent to patient care. Doctor unwilling to spend time, in a hurry to move on to next patient. Waited 30 minutes for a 6:00AM endoscopy appointment. Unorganized office staff, and not caring at all! Sends messages back to Doctor, and either messages actually weren't sent, or Doctor chooses not to respond. No calls back on two different occasions, which is totally unacceptable!

Good experience with Dr. Gillum. He is very knowledgeable and doesn't rush appointments. However his nurse Holly is very bad at getting back to you. I have requested her to ask the dr. a question three separate times reguarding medication, with no response. I called again and spoke to someone who looked in the system and found that Holly never even asked the dr. my question. she only sent a medication request which is not what I asked for.Irritating that I have to sched appt just for a question

I do have Chrons Disease, and Dr Gilliam was able to manage it properly, I'm running 3 years without flares, and feeling very well.
