Olakunle O Akinboboye

Dr. Akinboboye's office is very unprofessional. The office staff has no consideration for its patients. On one visit we waited 3 hours only to then be told the doctor would not be in the office that day. The following visit we waited 2.5 hours only to be told we'd have to come back because the office would be closing soon. We were livid. The office has no problem letting you wait for extended periods of time but the staff will not stay to accommodate patients. We will be contacting the insurance company to find out if we were billed for the times we were unable to actually see the doctor. Also, when we asked if results could be relayed by phone we were told this violated HIPAA laws. However every other doctor's office ever visited will convey results over the phone.

Dr Akinboboye is an excellent doctor who knows is onions. However, many of the girls (staff) that he surrounds himself with, although they manage to get the job done, are quite ridiculous in their manner. The office manager (the 6ft tall lady) in particular can be very rude and discourteous, sometimes showing a nasty and bullying attitude towards patients if they dare to assert their rights. I think Dr Akinboboye should shop for a replacement for the bad eggs amidst his staff.

Spends time with his patients; very thorough; excellent history taker and greets you by name in waiting area; listens to all your concerns and address them. Discusses your options and works with you on whatever you decide. Wonderful doctor.

Dr Olakunle Akinboboye is role model in the field of medicine.He is a numero uno of medicine and a great prototype of a doctor of this generation. Dr OLa is very passionate and deals with every patient like his own. God bless him.
