About Dr. Oladele Adepitan Adebogun
Reviews for Dr. Oladele Adepitan Adebogun
1st and last visit. Dr. Adebogun handed me two questionnaires with about 10 questions each. Then prescribed me 4 new medications. Vyvannnse, Wellbutrin, Valium and some kind of sedative (can’t remember the name of it). I have NEVER been diagnosed with or evaluated for ADHD (what vyvannse is used to treat). Only ever picked up the Valium just as a rescue med for my panic attacks and never even used it because I was too nervous to. Ended up just throwing them away. Dr Adebogun is absolutely not interested in helping to treat the problem. He just wants to throw medications at you to suppress the issue.
Stay far away. This place will charge you for your appointment even when the doctors no show. You read that right. No show. I have had the doctor miss my appointment 3 times and still got charged. All they said was sorry like it was no big deal and still charged me. The office has 10 employees sitting around doing nothing with includes never answering the phones or returning messages. Your medicine is never sent in on time and you have to request multiple times. When the meds do get sent in they are wrong sometimes not even the same type of medication you take. I will be reporting this office to the medical board. If anyone else has these issues I may suggest doing the same or they will continue to take advantage of customers and there health issues. Im disgusted at the manager and the treatment she provided to me. She was dismissive rude and even asked me to leave the office when I told them I was unhappy and needed help. Yes, i literally had to go to the office to get help bc the phone wouldn’t get Answered when I called. Stay away

Dr. Adebogun stated in his advertisement that he helps with grief, anxiety, sleep , and depression. Having the current symptoms he did not even take the time to listen. He simply said he could not help at this time and opened the door. After working in the medical field for over 20 years I know that is very unprofessional. He also did not recommend someone who could. Before you come into your appointment they have you fill out all the necessary paperwork. The office could have called a to let me know they couldn't help me before I showed up to my appointment. I could have seeked help somewhere else. This kind of practice is very unacceptable.

I’ve been with Dr O for years and he’s great and so is the counseling staff. But very disappointed with front office and back office staff. I don’t mind paying for my records, but when you request records and they write your request down, you would think they can read their own notes. So I go back a week later to pay and pick up records, first off they are not ready again, so I wait and get home and nothing I requested is there. So I called immediately to notify them and I was told I have to pay again for what I’ve already asked for. What kind of treatment is that. So now I’m being told ask for a manager or something next time so the records I need will be correct. But I’m out of 50 dollars for a mistake your staff made. Train your staff right or make them pay for their mistakes and don’t make me pay for their mistakes. I’ve been with Dr O for years and he’s great and so is the counseling staff. Horrible experience - After a 4 month residential treatment and finally getting meds right we went back to Dr A for ongoing treatment and after a 4 min conversation and me expressing considerately concern of two med changes (off the bat) - at once - knowing my kids history of med changes, allergies, and reactions - and basically escorted us out... Knowing my kid was out of meds same day I pleaded and and cried… It was then I came to realize that all things happen for a reason and any doctor that is willing to kick a rape victim out of their office doesn’t really care - even my kid looked at me in the car and was like did that really happen?!?! And then when I read back through his reviews I realized my kid was not the first and my opinion is he’s after the east money…
All about the money is right. I only met with Oladele A Adebogun once and he didn't leave a great impression. It's a shame, theo other people that work for him are great. Biggest issue is HIM. $$$$$$ is all he cares about.
Very poor Dr. Check the google reviews as well. All he cares about is his money and processing you as quickly as possible. The performance got significantly worse post-Covid when everything went online. Booo this man.
Would give zero stars if I could. This guy is either a quack or he just doesn’t care about the well being of his patients. All issues with his personality and the staff and the office environment aside, this man prescribed me a benzo AND a stimulant after I said I was uncomfortable being on controlled and/or habit forming drugs because I had JUST been discharged from 2 months inpatient at a drug and alcohol rehab. He doesn’t care about his patients, he doesn’t listen to his patients, he takes his money, gives you his cookie-cutter treatment in 10 minutes, and shoos you out the door. Go to this doctor (and I use that term very loosely) at your own peril. It is the medical equivalent of a factory line. From the very beginning, the staff is unfriendly, the doctor must be an FMG because he wanted to write me a beta blocker for my anxiety attacks. I have been a reluctant patient of his for several years and I can attest that he is clueless as a physician. Take the time and find a different physician, trust me, you will be better off for it. Dr. Adebogun is an amazing person, is very polite, friendly, and intelligent. I highly recommend this excellent doctor.
I love this clinic. I testify to Dr Adebogun's great manners and deep knowledge. He is one of DFW's most prominent physicians.
Only 2 appts and I've already had Dr. A argue with me over my insurance benefits right off the bat in my first appt. They wanted hundreds of dollars before my first appt, which I paid, though ins told me it was only a copay when I called prior to my 1st appt. Later insurance adjudicated the claim as a $25 copay, so I have to call multiple times to get a refund. No one calls back, so I have to do the leg work to get it done. (I suggest the office manager leave her name on her voicemail message, for accountability and so us patients know with whom we're speaking. Just a thought.) My next visit they wanted over a hundred bucks, so we went down that rabbit hole, again, with me calling insurance and having to instruct them on my benefits, with the every so enjoyable argument and condescension from the front office, though after 30 min, they figured out I was right. The office was only using the automated system for benefits, and not speakin.....for full review, see Google review.
I have been going to Mind Matters for almost 5 years now. The PA's are amazing and I love going to them....the problem is that Dr. A. is the one who send the prescriptions. I'm not sure if he was audited or what but he pretty much holds my medication hostage! Then he'll tell me some reason why ie well your only supposed to take that on weekdays. well you never should have had those meds prescribed, etc. Mind you, he only does this when I send him a message because I'm out of medicine....he changes my medication without even consulting me and now I'm here, going into work late, because I need to pick up an RX I've been out of since 11/8, 3 days. His practice has grown and, I believe, this is the result. He lost what was special about MM, patient informed care. Looking for another dr. Dr Adebogun is the worst doctor I have been to. He is rude and condescending and actually wanted to argue with me about something I didn’t feel comfortable doing. I always felt like I was an imposition to him just having an appointment. I do not recommend.
I found him to be very rude and arrogant. I also was referred to him. This was my first and last visit. A complete air head, no compassion, and he need to realize if a patient book an appointment, there coming for help with a health concern. Not that you need him to take you off from work, not that you need narcotics. Humble yourself and LISTEN to your patient. I'm praying for you Dr. Adebogun do the job that INSURANCE is paying you for. Love him! He takes the time to listen and understand me. Outstanding knowledgeable Doctor.
Dr. Adebogun Is an extremely good man and doctor. He is pleasant and caring. I always found it pleasant to see him.
Rude doctor and staff. Wouldn’t refill a medicine or reschedule my appointment. Then was hung up on by the doctor. Treated like I was nothing.

Dr Adebogun is a very knowledgeable and caring physician. While we have had some frustrating issues with a few of the front office staff, it does not take away from Dr Adebogun’s professionalism and care.
Dr Adebogun is a very educated, competent doctor and has helped my family tremendously. Highly recommend him.
Uneducated, apathetic, uncaring staff who are untrained and have no warmth or empathy at all for patients suffering w mental illness. There is no urgency by staff or Dr. A to help with your illness, and god forbid, help with any insurance, family leave, tms authorization, or any other paperwork that you may need assistance with so you can protect your job. The skill set for this office is more suited to working as bill collectors or as corrections officials. Save yourself more mental anguish

Terrible front office staff!
I was referred to Dr. Adebogun by my treating physician. I called to set up a new patient appointment and nobody answered, so I left a voicemail with my information for a call back. Upon not receiving a call back for 48 hours, I called Dr. Adebogun again. Once again, I got his voicemail and once again, I left my information for a return call to set up an initial appointment. We are now nearly two months removed from these phone calls and I still have not heard from Dr. Adebogun's office. I was essentially begging him to take my money and yet I couldn't even get the courtesy of a return call, forget setting up an actual NEW PATIENT appointment. You would think any doctor or business would be jumping at the bit for a new patient or new client but not Dr. Adebogun. Rest assured, I have already been able to see another psychiatrist for TWO appointments now, yet I couldn't even get a return phone call from Dr. Adebogun. Sad! I have had debilitating panic attacks for 2 years. So bad that I haven't been able to drive or go out without having one. Dr. A really listens to me and is personable and caring. He really understands the mind and my symptoms. He recommends a lot of different techniques. I can finally drive again, and live my life fully because of him. His staff is great too. Very nice! I waited for over 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment to be seen by the doctor. The staff does not know what they are doing and are very unprofessional. I walked out and would not recommend them at all to anyone.

I was a pt about a year. I was happy with the care I received until I was unable to make ONE appointment and he "fired" me w/o warning with no grace period to find another doc. He prescribed me a med that was not recommended to be taken while I was already taking an RX by a different doc. He was aware of my RX for the other med and was authorized to contact other doc. When I missed the appt. w/Dr. A he suddenly no longer wanted to be associated w/me due to the combo of the 2 meds together.

I asked for a refill and Walgreens said I need dr approval, they call doctor. No response. I run out of medication 3 days later. No response. I went to the hospital last night and I am going to find a new doctor. Do not use this doctor if you value being mentally stable.
IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT!

Dr Adebogun is very intelligent and I adore his daughter who works in the front office, Grace. She is the sweetest lady and actually makes you feel like she actually cares about the patients. I very much believe the doctor knows his stuff.. He takes his time with you and really gets you on schedule with your medication.
Initial contact with the office in Flower Mound was great and I was able to see Josie, PNP in a timely matter. I needed paperwork filled out and sent to my Short term disability in 2 business days and nothing. Initial contact with Grace the office manager about paperwork was pleasant and left me with hope. A week and half letter denied my short term disability, no response from anyone from the office after numerous calls and now they just don't answer my calls.
