Physician is short and not warm. I had never met her and she seemed disinterested in even interacting with me. When I woke from my procedure the nurse kindly asked me to sit up. I heard her incorrectly and went to move to my side. The physician burst in and yelled my name and “sit up!” The nurse jumped a little. My husband and I were just in shock. Then she later came in and gave me three facts, one not great news and left. No empathy nor room for any questions. I had a great deal of anxiety about the procedure due to a past scare and would have appreciated a softer approach.

I've spent more than a year with Dr. Anand trying to find a cure for my chronic diarrhea. She finally did an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsies. My entire colon is inflamed but she's chosen to ignore that and concentrate only on negative biopsy results. I called 3 times to get an explanation of results which had been auto published in My Chart since the day after the procedure. The nurse finally called to say all was fine but they could see me again in 2 months if I wished. My PCP says that is NOT what the report says. Today (two weeks later) I get a basic Dear John letter from the Dr., published to My Chart. No offer of any treatment plan, no meds, absolutely nothing to address the severe diarrhea I've now had for two years. I feel totally abandoned! My health is failing. I've had to get potassium IVs and B12 injections because my system is so depleted as a result of constant diarrhea. Do not waste your time with her. She simply doesn't care.

I feel like she is very knowledgeable and very thorough. Unfortunately it takes months to get an appointment. She is all business and her bedside manner could use a little work. I personally don't care about that. I just want a pro and she's definitely a professional.
