Dr. Vaou is a very warm and caring doctor and person. She always answers all my questions and let’s me make decisions about my care. So glad I got to meet her and she was able to get me back on track after many years of suffering with my tremors.

Great staff and Dr. Vaou is thorough and genuinely concern for her patients.

Dr. Vaou has been my husband’s Neurologist due to Parkinson’s Disease for about four years. In those four years Dr. Vaou has been so knowledgeable about PD and has opened my husband’s world to Deep Brain Surgery. He has had DBS surgery and our lives have improved 100%. Dr. Vaou provided information, guidance, patience and care as a professional and always with kindness and we never felt rushed. She definitely is the best!! Dr Vaou is extremely competent, is engaging as well in asking about my status and really listening, and then altering the treatment plan to best fit my needs. Who could ask for anything more? ????

My first visit with Dr Vaou and I was very pleased. She is very patient and listens to you. She is a very kind, easy to talk to doctor.

Dr. Vaou and her assistant have been very attentive and thorough and listened to my prior medical history. As a result, Dr. Vaou was able to come up with a treatment plan that was specifically designed for my needs.

It is my first time here and I am very happy to say that my original appointment wasn’t until February and because I was on a cancellation list they called me yesterday and I took the appointment for today. They called me in right away everyone was very pleasant. I was listened to and made sure I understood everything. Dr. Vaou was very understanding and knowledgeable of the Parkinson's condition I have had for 22 years. I am 80, and it is the most thorough exam I have ever had. My dad had Parkinson's, fell in the home, spent 3 years in a nursing home, and lived to age 91. My grandfather used to shuffle his feet, but they did not know much about the disease then. If I could give Dr. Vaou 10 stars, I would. Never feel rushed, always gives you the time that you need. Answers all questions fully and honestly. Extremely knowledgeable about her field of expertise.

I saw four different movement disorder specialist before choosing Dr vaou Who I absolutely love… I was seeing Dr. Hohler who I absolutely love to, but Dr vaou Has an office on Thursdays in Quincy and that was the reason for the switch. They’re both amazing!

Dr. Vau and her team listen to your concerns, ask many questions to fully understand, and address each issue with compassion and respect. I feel confident that nothing is being overlooked.

Dr. Eleni Okeanis Vaou was kind, friendly and professional.

Dr. Vaou always takes time to answer questions or discuss health related issues in a understandable and thorough way; so the question is completely answered.

I had a pressing medical issue that was causing me concern. I called Dr.Vaou office and Dr. Vaou made time available almost immediately. The doctor tested ,evaluated, explained and put together a plan to resolve my problem. Fortunate to have Dr. Vaou as my neurologist and thanks to her I have a plan. R. M. Braintree. , Ma. If you have Parkinson’s and need a Caring Doctor Dr Eleni Okeanis Vaou is who you should contact. She has helped me from onset to progression. I am in good hands with Dr Vaou.

Dr. Vaou is extremely caring and shows indept compassion to teach student Doctors. She always have at least a Student Doctor under her tutelage any time I visit for my scheduled appointments. Thank you Dr. Vaou.

Rude, arrogant, dismissive.

I felt extremely disrespected by this doctor, and quite frankly have never met one as lacking in patience and empathy. Instead of listening to my questions and explaining things to me, she was condescending, arrogant, treated me like I was insane, accused me of threatening her, and held my mental health history against me, dismissing all of my concerns and symptoms as "in my head". To top it all off, she had no trouble letting me know I was wasting her time. Maybe she's better with those with Parkinson's, but to those with any mental health history, steer clear.

She is very arrogant and very prejudicial against anyone with any kind of mental health disorder. As opposed to doing her job and to avoid doing her job she will state it's a psychological issue and nothing else can he done. So, basic, it's all in your head is her diagnosis despite facts and evidence by other providers.

Dr.Vaou, A professional who cares about her patients. Dr. Vaou is thorough always going the extra mile for her patients. Explains and informs every medical issue. Lucky to have her as my doctor.

Dr. Vaou took the time to find a better treatment programs for me as my PD has evolved . She is never late for appointments. If I had to change Doctors, I would stay with someo ne at the Noran Clinic as all of the staff is organized and helpful

Dr. Vaou is excellent! She is very knowledgeable, a good listener, and kind. She treated me for longstanding migraines and I finally found a treatment that works for me after having seen a handful of neurologists in the past.

She refused to prescribe the muscle relaxant meds that would help me get better. She refused to prescribe opiods. She suggested my pain was caused by bad body posture when clearly it wasn't. She did not listen to my story. I always felt like she was rushing me in the office. Please spare yourself the hassle and get another doctor.
