Dr. Obinna N Uzodinma

Left me high and dry without meds back in 2021, after 5 years of treatment tried to only give me 2 weeks to get off those meds and start injections. Disgusting practices and terrible bed side manners!! Even though he isn’t practicing now… if he ever comes back to treating patients PLEASE avoid him!!!

He moved to another area and I know I'll never find another doctor as loving, kind, and knowledgable as he.

Dr Uzo 5 stars Office 2 stars I adore Dr Uzo, but the way the office is run is poor at best…I wish I could rate it separately. I’ve been trying to get scheduled for a procedure for a month now…still getting the runaround…even had BCBS call them to find out what the holdup is. If I wasn’t already in my treatment with him, I’d go to a different practice. Once this is done (if it ever is), I’ll just have to go somewhere else for future pain issues. I hate that, because Dr Uzo is great at his work, and one of the most compassionate drs I’ve ever had, but the office staff just can’t get it together. *Edit - again, Dr. Uzo has come through; he made sure I have a way to get in touch with him without getting the runaround of the office. He was the best Doctor I have ever had. Unfortunately he had to move on to bigger and better things but if he ever starts seeing patients again I'll be back. His replacement Anita is great but she's just not him. No one can fully replace this man. He has been a blessing. I wish him all the best in life's endeavors.

I’m trying to leave a message for dr Uzo I did X-ray for him on Tuesday. I have not heard anything. I realize he may not have results. I have had siatics for almost two weeks. The pain is now in my tights and I’m having a very hard time walking lot of pressure on my legs. I need to talk to him as how to handle the nerve pain. Pat mcmanus

I was patient a for many years. I passed all drug screens given over 4 plus years. All of a sudden discharged me due to coming up with a drug in my urine other than prescribed(which I didn’t take). He never took in consideration any other reason for this to happen, like a mix up with the lab or my perfect history or anything. Left me high and dry… watch your back in this office. Shady stuff is going on!!!

Dr. Uzo is a wonderful doctor. He is very kind and very thorough. I am confident in his care for me and I refer him to friends and family. It was a blessing to find Dr. Uzodinma and his team. ???? Lupus Warrior ????

Dr Uzodinma is so wonderful! He is so caring and very “in touch” with his patients. However, the Pasadena office staff is AWFUL with phone calls and organization. Dr Uzodinma gave me his personal email to get hold of him and his assistants. He sd I send an email and it “dings” when he and his assistant receives it. I love him❤️

When I needed help I could not have asked for a better. He is so thorough and helpful. Dr Uzodinma smiles all the time I see him. Anita Gonzalez is fantastic too. She's so funny sometimes. But professional always. Love them both.

I sent over my MRI and appointment request in June. It is now September and I still cannot get an epidural scheduled. I am told it is because the doctor is behind on charting, what a joke! If you are in pain and need treatment sooner than later I highly suggest you go somewhere else.

Best Dr I have ever had. He know what your pain is and does everything he can to relieve it!

I have suffered with crippling pain from stage 4 endometriosis of the lung and pelvic region since I was 11. Over the years my pain got worst, from surgeries, multiple collapsed lungs, and the terrible symptoms of my condition that people look over because they can’t see the pain I describe. Dr. Uzo did not look over my pain. The very first time I met him he listened to me, which so many doctors in the past never took the time to. I feel like he took the time to review my medical records and he carefully designed a plan to help me live life with a little less pain. I can’t even express how much his care means to me. I spent my entire teens and 20s in and out of hospitals and have seen so many doctors and so little have left the impression that Dr. Uzo has, because I believe that he cares about how much I’m hurting and that he wants to make that better and not just because it’s his job. Dr Uzodinma is by far the most personable, knowledgeable, informative and attentive pain specialist I have worked with in the 20 years I have been dealing with my health issues. By far the worst experience! The office is unprofessional, untrained, and ill equipped to handle any medical situation. If you are seeking a pathway to alleviate your pain without causing additional physical issues this is not the physician for you! The physician writes prescriptions without thought or care to addiction medication effects or a pathway to assist the patient/family in finding a resolution.

Love this Dr and how he speaks with me- trust his skills; unfortunately, His WEBSTER office earns an “F” for customer service, or lack of, and poor communications! Such a shame! Hard to go back...

Dr. Uzo is amazing! He is complete in every detail of your health. He never makes you feel rushed or negative in any way. I appreciate that he explains things in ways I can understand, too. I LOVE him, and the entire staff there. After a procedure I had recently, he stayed by my bedside talking me through everything. He also called 2 days later (on a SUNDAY!), to check on me. I've been a patient at IPS for several years, starting with Dr. Fuke but switched to Dr. Uzo. He is absolutely AMAZING! Finally a doctor who took the time to listen and genuinely cared about my concerns. Last year I moved to the Dallas area and thought I could find another good doctor, FAIL! Dr. Uzo has been and will be the only pain specialist to trust. We're moving back to the Houston area and look forward to seeing him again. Thank you Dr. Uzo!

Professionalism and compassion at it's highest level. As a provider, he offers outstanding bedside manner, exceptional care and informative treatment options.

He has been the only Doctor who diagnosed and treated me with utmost concern for my health and well-being. He is very personal and always remembers little things about you. In other words... He LISTENS.. There's not a time you see him that he won't shake your hand or even give you a hug. I WAS SUFFERING WITH ALOT OF NERVE PAIN IN MY UPPER HIP,LEFT LEG I HAD 3 INJECTION BEFORE I SAW DR.UZODINMA AND THEY WORKED FOR MAYBE 4 TO 6 MONTH.BUT ONCE I STATED VISITING DR.UZODINMA MY PAIN HAS STOPPED. IT WENT FROM 10 TO 0.IT HAS BEEN OVER 8 MONTHS AND I AM STILL FEELING GREAT...THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Dr. Uzodinma is simply AWESOME! He is down to earth, does take the time to listen to your concerns and involves you within conversation of your concerns. Dr. Uzodinma is very personable and always pleasant!! I highly recommend him!! Office staff very professional, kudos to all of them!!

Dr. Uzodinma is an awesome doctor, I would recommend him to anyone, but would warn them about making/changing/cancelling appointments. The problem I have is trying to contact his office in Webster. I have to call the Pasadena office (which is the only number you will find listed for them) and they do not pass on messages. I have been charged $25 for not showing up to an appointment that I tried to reschedule but got no call back from either the Webster or Pasadena office.
