Suffering with an undiagnosed disease that I guess I "don't have" since I lack only 1 of many symptoms. Let's disregard abnormal bloodwork that is consistently abnormal. Been trying for nearly a full year to get this taken care of. I have physical symptoms that she hasn't cared to take a closer look at. I just get told to do a follow up visit 3 months later. Since my abnormal bloodwork is consistently abnormal, there's nothing wrong? I've had so many needles stuck in me and have had to go back for more blood work a few times because what was drawn did not complete the lab order. She has taken on more than she can handle. I had my thyroid removed months ago and cant even get an appt with her even after calling with great concern. I had my first number draw and had to call twice just to get them to look at it. Before surgery I called 4 days in advance just to get a physical before surgery no one could squeeze me in anywhere even though I am completely healthy and it took 5 minutes at Dreyer. My surgery would have been cancelled without it.. Go elsewhere.

I take Armour for Hashimoto's. She said it's a voodoo drug, been around 100 years and is bad. She said I had to take Synthroid as there are no side effects - the side effects I experience are from something else. She would not listen to me. She said you have to go by the numbers, not how you feel. Anyone who has Hashimoto's knows this to be wrong. If a medicine makes you sleep for 26 hours, something's seriously wrong! My hair fell out so badly, people thought I was on chemo.

I went to her after being diagnosed with hashimotos thyroiditis. SHe perscribed levothyroxine which caused my symptoms to become 10 times worse. I told her how it was causing severe depression and other bad side effects I didn't have when I didnt take the medicine. she said my tsh numbers were fine and that I needed to seek mental health. later finding out at a diff doctor that SHe ran the test that showed I cant convert that medicine which was causing my mental state. doing fine with new doc.

didnt treat my disease right and caused further health problems. She dont listen. I fired her and found a new doctor. one size fits all treatments dont work on everyone.

This doctor was treating me with levothyroxine after running a full thyroid panel that showed I cant convert the medicine into a usable t3. so when I told her that I was experiencing severe symptoms including severe depression, weight-gain , anxiety, and all kinds of other symptoms I didn't experience when I didn't take the medicine . she said my numbers were normal and I needed to seek metal health. refused to budge on any other options even when the tests showed her why I was experiencing the side effects. Thank God I had the sense to seek another doctor who has worked with me to get my numbers really normal and to treat my hashimotos as well. Thyroid sufferers, run away. she dosent know how to treat this disease properly, and dosent believe theres a way to treat hashimotos. now that Im being treated for my diseases properly, suddenly I don't need to seek mental health.

She's a fine Dr. who explains everything & takes the time necessary to keep a patient on the right track medically. Additionally, Donna, her Nurse or Physician's Assistant is excellent!

Dismissed my symptoms, wanted to switch me to a medicine that I am allergic to, told me I wasn't allergic to it because that medicine had no side effects, even tho manufacturer lists side effects on their package insert and on their website.
