Dr. Norman E Johnson

I was terrified going in for a procedure not knowing if they will pull any wisdom teeth. But after talking with Dr Johnson he made me feel comfortable and at ease. He explained everything and was extremely honest.

Dr Johnson is by far the best - he knows I am anxiety ridden when I get there I had to have multiple extractions in order to get implants - he's been doing them for a while ! He's so calm so amazing and just a great doctor !!! I suggest him !!!

Informative and pleasant physician with a terrible staff. After the consultation I waited for almost two months for them to get a prior authorization for my procedure. Checked with my insurance several times and no one put one in. After several call to the doctors office and speaking to a very rude staff member I was forced to go with another doctor. Might be a good physician but due to office staff I never got to experience it.

I saw Dr.Johnson concerning a follow-up on my dental. Implant. As he administered several painful injections, I winced in pain. At that point Dr. Johnson started to shout & belittle me.His behavior is erratic & out of control. He then stormed out of the office threatening to not complete the procedure.He did complete the procedure. Afterwards I heard him yell at a patient "GET OUT OF HERE & DON'T COME BACK! AVOID THIS DENTIST!

Dr. Johnson is by far the most talented dental surgeon i’ve ever had! He is honest, trustworthy, and genuinely enjoys his profession. Makes surgery a breeze. Highly recommend.

It’s annoying to see that most of these low star ratings are due to the offices long wait time. We are reviewing the DOCTOR!! I saw dr Johnson today for 2 extractions. I am pregnant and get very anxious when I go to the dentist in general. Pregnancy definitely heightened that emotion. Dr Johnson was so professional, so confident and walked me through the whole procedure. He listened to my needs and stopped when necessary. Needless to say this was by far the most gentle and successful experience. Most definitely worth the long wait time. I was so blessed to have Dr Johnson treat me today!!! Very nice personality along with the staff. I had a tooth pulled and after numbness wore off I did not have any pain.

Going to the dentist is a scary experience and having a doctor like Dr Johnson who is professional, caring , he knows what he does.i have been a patient of DR Johnson at least 8 years, he completed 4 of my implants, bone graft, tooth extraction , Dr Johnson always takes his time and explain what he is seeing and what he needs to be done, i travel from Long Island to Brooklyn whenever i have a dental issue. During my visits, i never felt any pain and office staff was always helpful.i have huge trust in his knowledge and experience .he is the best doctor i highly recommend Dr Johnson. I had two wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Johnson. I had minimal pain and no swelling. Very nice doctor highly recommend!

Doctor Johnson did my wisdom tooth extraction. He is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. I was extremely nervous and he helped me to calm down, ensured that there is nothing to worry about. After the procedure, he made sure that I'm feeling alright. I absolutely love him, highly recommend!!

BEST Oral Surgeon specialist in NEW YORK! Had more then 10 surgeries...ALL perfect! NO complication, NO problems!

Dr Johnson is an excellent dentist with great character. I had to get a wisdom tooth extracted and he did an excellent painless job. He was super nice and chilled while working on my procedure. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Johnson is excellent! When my regular dentist didn't know what was going on, I explained my symptoms to Dr. Johnson, and immediately he knew the problem and the biopsy confirmed it. Thank you Dr. Johnson!

I had to go and have one tooth extracted. I came in by appointment, and my doctor was Norman E. Johnson, all I did was try to ask questions about dental implants, and he didn't want to talk about it,just to extract even though I said I made an appointment for that as well. He just up and said that he did not want to do this, and walked out...saying that i'm weird in the hallway and that I ask too many questions. He is very rude, and even in the beginning, seems cold. Unprofessional.

Today Dr. Johnson listen to my extensive health history and took into consideration all my allergies. He was very professional. He performed a very difficult extraction. No pain! Talked me through the prosidure. He advised me. Dr. Johnson was nice to walk me to resting area and than again to nurses station because I had a touch of Vertigo. Very satisfied!

I was referred to Dr Johnson for a wisdom tooth extraction. The whole procedure was totally painless and was over in minutes (if that long). Dr Johnson is funny and totally professional and his staff is great (I can't wait to have more teeth extracted-just kidding).

I have been a patient since 1996 , Yes this is a busy practice and Dr. Johnson is the lynch pin of this office .He is by far the most skilled Dental Surgeon I have ever met ,He knows how to relax you and gets you out of pain he tells you a joke and its done i know not everyone has or needs the same thing . Walk in,s are tough here because you will wait but you should always call ahead and get a realty check this is a Great Dr. Do not believe the bad reviews . Most of these people were in emergency situation and they are already have admitted this is the last resort to pull there tooth to just get out of pain and emotionally Drained. Dr.Johnson loves the work he does, and really cares about his patients he is for real . Remember if you are here for extraction or abscess something painful you have not taken care of your teeth so really who are you blaming ? he will help you . He uses his explosive temper to cover up his mistakes. Very unprofessional and insulting. Does not keep track on the patient he has loses time. I find Dr. Johnson violent in nature. Considering reporting him to American Dental Society. Assistance are clumsy and unprofessional. Low end treatment.

Far worse horrible customer service dental place. i've ever been to I came in with an appointment at 10 o'clock it's now 4 o'clock. An all the receptionists are rude as hell.

I had the worst experience...I was a walk in and came first thing in the morning. I waited 4 hours, when I asked how much longer I'd have to wait, I was told another 3 hours. I had an abscessed tooth and lots of pain. I would never recommend this place. The customer service is horrendous and the doctors aren't helpful

They know nothing about customer service or respect. My actual procedure was fast and painless with just minor discomfort.

Calm, caring, knowledgeable, kind, experienced. Bedside manner couldn't have been better when I was very unwell and very scared. Called my doctors and followed up himself with me and my other doctors. Talented and generous. I am lucky to have him there when I was in need of very specialized assessment and treatment.

I have had dental implants done in many different places. Because of excruciating previous experiences I was very apprehensive getting this done here for the first time. Dr Johnson was very understanding and patient with me. He explained the complete procedure and future possibilities. What felt like a few minutes later, I walked out of his office refreshed and completely pain free. Never even needed to take a painkiller and it healed beautifully.
