Dr. Norma Schacherl

Dr. Schacherl has been one of my very best doctors I've had for many years. She takes time to explain things to me. Provides all follow-up needs. Always responsive to my medical needs.

Rude, just plain rude, do not even consider giving her the time of day, she is very rude and inconsiderate of your needs as a patient your better off going elsewhere.

Rude, Un-professional, and lacks any form of care for the health of her patients. I have had the unfortunate circumstance of having to have her as a doctor because Norma is the only doctor available, for good reason I might add. She has been constantly rude to my now passed Grandmother, Father, Aunt, Mother and Fiancé. There has not been one pleasant instance that I have had with Norma, she is not a good doctor, does not even walk me through options that I have to treat conditions, she instead asks me what I want, How am I supposed to know? It is not till a back and forth exchange that I am not a doctor and don't know what I need to treat my health. If I knew what I needed I wouldn't be seeing her. She is completely rude Some examples of her behavior can be seen in a visit my fiancé made in which Norma asked her how she received her injury like any normal doctor would but then stopped her mid conversation to tell her that "she didn't ask to hear her life story." How rude do you have to be in order to say something like that, she is blatantly rude and this isn't the first time she is like that. I highly recommend that if you are needing a doctor and see her as the only available one that you wait for another one even if it takes weeks, the service you will receive is not worth it at all. I would rather go to H-E-B because the boxes of the medicine at least explain what they do, and I will even receive better customer service from the cashier then Norma will ever give you. Rude, Un-caring towards her patients, unprofessional, I am not the kind of person to even care for reviews but this woman has no care for her patients and is extremely rude and as a doctor, this is no way to treat your clients. I have been forced to book appointments with her because she is the only person ever available for a reason obviously. In the few times, I have seen her she has been rude to my now-deceased Grandmother, Father, Mother, Aunt, and my fiance. A few examples of her personality can be seen in my experiences with her. During an appointment with my father, she very arrogantly asked him to want he wanted. He replied I don't know I'm not a doctor and she repeatedly went back and forth with him asking him what my father wanted from her, how is he supposed to know what he needs is my question and why doesn't she just do her job and recommend what he needs? We sat there clueless not knowing what we needed because we have no medical background. This isn't the first time this has occurred in all my experiences she asks the same thing in one way or another, but i don't know how we are expected to know exactly what we want, we are not doctors. She is extremely rude, in another experience with her, my fiance was in a car accident and Norma asked what happened like any normal doctor would but NoRmA then followed by saying she didn't want to hear my fiance's life story and just wanted to know what happened, how rude do you have to be in order to say that with a straight face. This the first time she has been rude well multiple times with my now deceased Grandmother she has been extremely rude in one instance my aunt had to call her out and told her off because she was way out of line. She is an extremely rude woman and I have had the unfortunate favor of having to have her as a doctor with multiple family members, I would rather wait weeks now instead of ever consider her as a doctor again. If she available for appointments there a reason for it, If you want to have a rude doctor who doesn't care much for your health and won't even recommend you what you need then go see her, but you're better off waiting for a better doctor or buying over the counter medicine either experience will be better then having to see this woman again.
