Dr. Nolan Arruda

Competent, professional and thorough. An excellent physician.

He provides good advice and very thorough when checking my health.

I have been seeing Dr. Arruda as my primary care provider for over 6 years and he is a very thorough Doctor if you are honest and upfront with the medical issues you are dealing with and/or feeling. Dr. Arruda I believe in my experience with him as my doctor tries his best to help me to stay healthy and help with the medical issues I am dealing with. He is not a mind reader and we need to be proactive in communicating our medical issues with him as well as any doctor we see to help us.

Fantastic Physician on Maui. My wife have been seeing him for almost 3 years since we moved to Maui. He never rushes through our visits and is VERY thorough in his exams. Emma and Kepola are also wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend Dr. Arruda.

Do not see this Dr. Worst experience ever had a 3:15pm appointment and did not get seen till after 5pm

I would not recommend. Find another doctor. His nurse is rude. They do not return calls as you would expect. 48 to 72 hours to fill prescription. Arruda was hostile towards me and refuses to see me because I reported my concerns to patient advocate about how I was not satisfied with his service. He sent me a certified letter to discontinue seeing me.

Terrible, I tried to make an appointment with Dr Arruda for back pain and had to wait 2 weeks (in pain ) to see him. My appointment was scheduled at 8:30 . I arrived at 8:22, when I was still in his waiting room at 9:30 ,(in pain!) I asked the nurse if it would be much longer. I was informed that he was in a meeting. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Why schedule an appointment at 8:30, when you are in a meeting until 9:30? I will not be back!
