Nitin Davessar

Just saw Dr. Davessar for a colonoscopy. When I first met with him in the office, he was very friendly and good at providing instruction and putting me at ease. Before and after the procedure, he again was very interactive and willing to answer any questions. He also provided very skillful medical care and was able to suggest options for the future. I'd highly recommend him to anyone needing this type of care.

I went to see Dr. Davessar for persistent heartburn, nausea, and bloating. He did a EGD and diagnosed me with gastritis and prescribed me protonix twice a day. After telling him my symptoms still persisted even after taking additional over the counter medications he wanted me to decrease my medication. I did so, thinking maybe he knows something I don't. I was miserable, crying, could not eat for days. I called his office and spoke with them and he called back and was completely RUDE and disrespectful! He told me "that if I was still feeling nauseous than something else was wrong!"...obviously! Rather than trying to perform more tests or refer me to someone else he completely stopped refilling my prescriptions. I was without my heartburn medication and my nausea medication that I had to ask my OBGYN to refill it. It was a really slap in the face when I got hit with the bill from his office. I don't expect physicians to know everything, but refer, and have some compassion.

He's a great doctor and the staff is wonderful, but I've never not waited 30-60 mins past my appointment time.

Horrible doctor. Told me I had cancer wasn't sure where it was but thought it was ovaries when I tokd him i had a hysterectomy and only had one ovary he walked out of the room and said well I would get checked. went thru endless tests and all normal. Told me I had Barrets Esophagus and colon polyps. We moved and saw new GI doctor who did endoscopy and colonoscopy and found nothing. It is all about the money with this guy. If I could give him no stars I would.

Office visit: First time patient with Dr. Davessar, he was very informative and explained the procedure he would perform on me. Procedure visit: Great bedside manner, excellent staff, made me feel very comfortable. After my procedure he explained everything he did. Highly recommend.

I would never recommend this dr to anyone! So rude he just constantly repeats himself and just doesn’t take your opinions or questions seriously. He’s belittling. Not compassionate with your pain or thoughts. Gives you answers as if your questions are stupid. You have EVERY right to ask questions or voice your opinion about your health! He’s like a robot asking you questions and just automatically jumps to conclusions and throws many different things in your face. You wait for nearly 30 min in the room to see him. You leave not knowing what he thinks it could be he just gives you more anxiety and throws all the organs out there and says it could be anything of those. He can’t even pinpoint what it is based on your symptoms and he’s supposedly a gi dr! An emergency room dr would literally tell you it sounds like this or this let’s figure it out. He just wants to order tests and pushes you to come back big or small things and honestly he’s more about the business than your health.

Horrible dr! So rude and not compassionate. He’s like a robot asking you questions so quick for your first visit. The wait time is unbelievable for him to just talk to you for 10 min. He loves throwing tests and exams at you and pushes you to always have to see him To keep charging you and your insurance. He doesn’t take you serious about your opinions about your own health. He doesn’t know what it could be or tells you what your pain could sound like. He just throws every organ name out there at you and says it can be any of that. He’s belittling. He loves to keep repeating himself. Talks very fast it’s overwhelming. Anytime you ask him a question(especially if you’re young) he’ll give a reply to it as if it was a stupid question. The lady that takes his messages is also very rude. Just horrible experience and not comfortable with him.

After discussing a problem I was having, he realized that I needed to be seen in the ER.. After calling another Physician I was sent to the ER, where I needed emergency surgery on a severe compression on my spine which could have paralyzed my legs permanently. I am so glad for his wisdom and concern. I've had several colonoscopies and he has concern for his patients.

He is a horrible horrible doctor! Has very bad bedside manners & lacks compassion. He seems like a business man, like to see u a lot in his office for really NO reason just to charge u & the insurance. He ordered unnecessary exams for me all at once! I actually saw meanness in his face the minute he walked into the room. How could such people with horrible personalities graduate from the medical school!

I will never recommend Dr Davessar to anyone. During my first visit to his office I was in pain & needed some advice . He was very rude, did not show any empathy for my pain & kept telling me to go to the emergency room if I am in pain! He was like a robot asking me some questions & repeating himself & wouldn't really listen to my questions & my concerns. He even made me feel so stupid because I am asking! He is young inexperienced & difinitly arrogant . His staff are not that nice either!

I always feel that he I in a hurry to get me in/out of the office. He expects me to meet in his office for every little change and spends five minutes with me for whatever the issue big or small.
