Outstanding care - nice office atmosphere - very professional approach. Dr. Patel diagnosed the problem and addressed it with very effective treatment. Great followup and very willing to listen to your questions and answer them directly.

Dr. Nisha Patel did an outstanding job on heel spur removal operation on me.. My healing process under Dr. Patels care instructions were efficient. She has been a lifesaver and I'm so grateful to not be limping around anymore.. Docter Patel did a clean cut thorough job and Excellent service..Thank you Dr Nisha Patel for giving me my foot back.. Im Blessed to be able to walk and function again ♡♡

Took a client who I thought would be there for a couple of hours with difficult work but it went smoothly and quickly with Dr. Patel.

Came in for ONE orthopedic insert, was spoken to and told that the price would be 200 dollars and I would get TWO for that price. I asked many times during that discussion if my insurance would cover, they agreed it would after checking. Was told any additional x-rays were also included. I was given a sheet to sign with that price, in the sheet it said I could be charged more if the insurance did not cover, asked them to remove that part on the above agreement and they did that (actually crossed off by the lady in the front desk). Came back 3 weeks later to get them, was told that I needed to pay for X-rays and that my insurance only covered one insert and I would need to pay the other one. I am not sure what sort of business they are running, but if I took customers like this I would have trouble sleeping at night. Dr. Patel also provided me a nice fact that insurance in the US is not the same as Europe - which to be honest was quite patronizing given the situation. Avoid this place as they are completely unprofessional and will try to stick you for every dollar! I also did not see any improvement with the orthopedics we purchased. Total waste of time and money. I have an ongoing (for 10 years) type 1 diabetic caused condition called Charcot foot. At the same time, I travel primarily by bicycle to keep my diabetes under control. 5 years ago I moved to Contra Costa County. For the first 18 months here, I would go thru a cycle of 2 – 3 month of treating a charcot induced foot ulcer then 2 months without an ulcer. And during those 18 months, my foot doctor would say this will continued on for the rest of my life. Finally I left that doctor and following a lead from my primary doctor I ended up at Dr. Nisha Patel‘s office. The first thing she did was to replace my prescription foot support shoes with a different Charcot support shoes. . A quick and easy ulcer preventive fix. Over the next 3.5 years she showed me how to prevent the on again off again ulcer cycle. Because of Dr. Patel I was able to bike and walk without pain or ulcers. Since this is a foot degenerate condition, eventually I needed to have a couple of bones reshape. Dr. Patel performed the surgery and within two months I was back on my bicycle. I came for a second opinion. Dr. Patel took the time to listen, ordered the necessary tests to help me with my metatarsals and followed through with physical therapy. My feet are getting the help I needed to remain active. The office staff are nice and caring.

Dr. Patel is a great listener and excellent communicator. She was very thoughtful and thorough in diagnosing my problem and offering both conservative and more aggressive options for treatment.

Dr. Patel and her staff are wonderful! I needed new orthodics due to developing spurs years ago when I ran marathons. She is very friendly and took the time to listen to me, even with my 4yr old tagging along for the visit. I can understand the comments a few have made about out-of-picket costs and insurance. I actually had the same concern because we had met our family deductible, however, I had not met my individual deductible. I didn’t even know I had an individual deductible. Dr. Patel called me personally and explained it to me. She actually called me twice because we were disconnected during our first call. Talk about follow up and follow through! Ok on diagnosis, poor on treatment and follow-up.

I was expecting a real consultation from a professional, and I even chose a woman from the list because I was thinking she will be more considerate and can relate to my problem being a woman. I was not satisfied she first specified that she needs to get paid after and it's $125.00 which I thought is not worth it! You can tell right away that she only cares about the money and not care about the patient's situation. I have plantar fascitis and I decided to see a podiortrist to seek professional advice, she literally just told me to do stretches and exercise which I already know from looking it online and told me to get a bottle of ice and roll my foot on it. I already am doing that because on line you can get more information and even ways and home remedy to help with your condition. She also was in a hurry and I even complimented her for being a young doctor and she just shrug her shoulders, I think she didn't apprecaite that! I was expecting at least to give me a literature about plantar fascitis or maybe a pad, insoles or something to alleviate my pain but no she was not even sympathetic when I told her I am frustrated and depressed because I am limited to doing exercises and shopping and be with my kids jogging. I also asked her if my condition will get better and she said eventually it will go away so I thought it was a waste of time and money to go to her for she just told me the things I can get in the internet about my condition way better with no cost at all. Also, when I asked her for a payment plan or any discount because I do not have insurance and she totally straight up told me she does not give discount at all unless I have surgery. The least I was expecting is for her to ask me "patient" if I have some questions which is the normal way but you can tell that she is not dedicated to her profession or probably she's tired of doing it. I do not recommend her to anybody who is suffering from plantar fascitis or any other foot problems! Dr Patel was very friendly and knowledgeable, I have been having heel pain for 6 months and nothing was helping. She gave me physical therapy and great recomenstions on stretching and she has X-rays right on site at office. We were able to see I had a large heel spur which required an injection and she recommended custom orthotics which have helped me all get back to my running and spinning class.
