Dr. Vora is NOT fit to care for mentally ill patients, on any level and for any age as far as I’m concerned. He has no actual concern, interest, care for an individual.

Horrible. Doesn't listen at all. He prescribed me meds, when I went back a month later telling him I had side effects and they weren't working he doubled the dose. Then I took an evaluation with Dr. Damon (excellent by the way) and I scored high for ADHD. Dr. Damon said that it was most likely due to my depression, but I had symptoms even after being treated for depression for months. I told Dr. Vora that I wanted to talk to him about meds at the request of my therapist. He treated me like an addict for even talking about it. I told him I was struggling at work and was afraid of getting fired. He said, "OK have a nice day." and hung up on me. Never going back to him Horrible. Doesn't listen at all. I would never recommend takeing your kids to him he made my daughter cry everytime he went and degraded a 5 year old and told me I was the one that wasn't listening and after 2 visits my daughter was scared of him

NOT IMPRESSED! Dr. Vora was referred to me for my son by his pediatrician for ADHA testing per school recommendation. First impressions are everything to me & this man was so offensive! He has no etiquette or manners. He was trying to diagnose my son without evaluation or testing. Told me all he does is prescribe medications but how can you prescribe a controlled substance to anyone especially a child without testing or evaluation! I have been seeing Dr Vora for about 9 years. He is very nice and always helpful and compassionate. He cares about me and is always looking out for me. He is very honest and upfront, he gives it to me straight. I highly recommend him.

No empathy. Closet sexist

Did not listen to my problem at all. Instead he told me to go to rehab just because I was taking Xanax. I told him I couldn't do that since I am in college. I never walked out of a doctors apt ever, till then.

If you are suicidal, Nikhil Vora will be just nasty and demeaning enough to encourage yiu to carry that out. Dr. Vora is one of the most unkind people I have ever met. He doesn't listen. He is difficult to understand. After talking to him, I felt completely hopeless. The only bright side is that I was able to speak with a very caring counselor at least three times before seeing Dr. Vora. I will be reporting him.

Great experience. Friendly efficient staff and psychiatrist on staff to prescribe medications

He helped me. I will continue to see him.

If I could give negative two stars I would. I went into Dr. Vora’s office today. I haven’t seen my old psychiatrist in over a year. I was explaining medications that I have taken in the past. I was off on the dosage of one of my medications and he started yelling at me calling me a liar. He constantly interrupts and yells. Very, very rude man. I have had bad psychiatrists in the past, but he tops them all in the worst ways. He tried prescribing medications that I told him I had severe reactions to, asking, “Do you want to try them again?” Dr. Vora should not have his license or work with people in general. If I could give 0 stars I would. He is rude and very disrespectful. I was trying to give him my opinion on treatment options for my daughter and he very rudely replied that I need to decide quickly because he didn't have a lot of time.This is not the first time he has acted this way. It seems like he doesn't care about the patients at all and is just herding patient in and out like cattle. I will be looking for a new provider. Someone who is working with children should be a little more compassionate and understanding.

I would NEVER recommend this rude and non-empathetic doctor (and I use that word loosely) to anyone. I have honestly never encountered ANY human being as impolite as him. It is chilling to think he is handling people's minds, some so fragile. How does he have a client base???

Worst psychiatrist I’ve ever had.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Recommends a medication and then turns around and treats patients like addicts for taking them. Clearly can't keep track of urine samples because mine was mixed up with another, since they found drugs that I've never even taken in my life! Tells me I'm lying about my child seeing her school therapist because apparently "the school can't afford that!" When obviously they can since I speak to her regularly. Dr Vora is very concerned every time I’ve went to my appointments. He’s always caring about my well being. I’ve expressed myself about the things that’s going on in my life and he gives great advice.

I have been seeing Dr. Vora for 5 years. He is always thoughtful and kind. He has offered me numerous suggestions to help me and most of them have worked. He won't hesitate to let me know if I am doing something that he doesn't agree with. That is his job! I think he has done right by me.

Even though appointments are short, I feel like he is listening, and he gives facial responses. If I don't understand a question because of his accent, I ask, and he repeats it for me.

I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor before. From the moment I walked through his door all he did was degrade me and twist my words to make me sound like someone just trying to get pills or something. He twisted my words to say I don't take care of my child. He talked down to me the whole time and when I asked him if I was wasting my time he said yes he isn't willing to help me because I use marijuana with a medical card. I asked if he even knows anything about medical marijuana and he said "no I don't and I don't need to" uhh yes you do. How can you claim to be a professional if you don't know ANYTHING about a medicine very commonly used in your state. He would not listen to a word I said because of his completely ignorant predisposition. He was so arrogant and he will not be receiving a single dime for this TRAUMATIZING appointment. I came in and he kept asking "so what do you want me to do?" and I had to repeat myself so many times until I finally got so annoyed with him that I stormed off. Dr Vora is the worst Dr I have ever met. I have worked with many Drs in my 25 years of nursing as a RN. He was my 16 year old sons Dr For writing scripts but seemed to know little about his condition. He was easily offended when challenged about his treatment plan and protocol in treating my son's condition. He put words in my mouth, told us to go to the hospital, which as a RN I would know when that would be necessary. He refused answers to questions but wanted my son to go to a day program without ever even explaining one thing about it. He appeared angry when asked how often he met with my sons therapist and treated me like a non paying member of his paycheck.He was unprofessional and I won't recommend a half dead cow to go to him. Doesn't really listen that well to the patient. Quick to prescribe medication, vs looking at the situation and recommending other methods of treatment. Doesn't seem to know common conditions to well.

Dr. Vora is not fit for a business that involves helping mentally ill people. I left my appointment with him feeling worse than I have in weeks. He would not listen and kept interrupting and making rude assumptions. This doctor hates MMMP and will treat you like dirt if you use medically. A pompous arrogant money hungry jerk.

Doesn't listen. Asks you a question and then moves on before you can really answer. Tries to cram his rehearsed questions into 20 minutes. Doesn't want to hear about anything that isnt already on your file. He talks fast and with his thick accent he is difficult to understand.

Dr. Vora is a horrible listener. I watched him check his email while my daughter spoke about her issues. He then would talk over her to tell her he didn't understand. He argued with my 12 year old daughter about how she feels and told her she needed to speak more clearly. She is a very shy and timid 12 year old that has social anxiety and depression. We left the office with her feeling worse than when we came in.

If you have trouble understanding foreign accents this is not the doctor for you. I maybe understood 3 or 4 words he said. in addition i needed him to spell out several things as he will just repeat the words exactly as he said them with out trying to help or making sure i understand. He doesn't listen so I am pretty sure his issue is with english. He seems to be shy/timid, which s the exact opposite that i would like in a provider. Also he doesnt believe in treating anxiety.

Horrible!Does not listen, makes assumption about you and refuses to listen/yells over you if you try to dispute. I saw him shortly after I was released from a hospital for suicidal and self harm tendencies. He treated me as a criminal and said my physical illness where not real (I use mmm to treat them),went on to tell me all my mental illness were cause by mmm. Also cut my meds down and wants stop my antidepressant after I told him I cry and have daily suicidal thoughts daily. Filing a report.
