I waited 8 months to have my first appointment with Dr Melendez and become an established patient. I saw her a few times. I just called for an appointment to address my issue that is acting up. Terrible staff!

Dealing with this staff is the biggest nightmare, you have to call 5 times to finally get 1 answer. Don't believe me? Try calling them I promise you they won't answer, OR call you back. And when they do answer they're snobby and rude, they don't help your situation not one bit

Dr. Melendez is the best provider I've had throughout my entire life - she is kind, understanding, and super helpful. She went over all of my test results with me, and moved the computer so that I could read along with her. She truly is a professional, and I'm glad to have her on my care team.

As a father and mother of 4 and both life long professionals, my wife and I can tell you to keep looking for another Rhuematologist. Dr. Melendez is a blood test reader. If it doesn't show up on blood tests (which auto immune and almost all rheumatological diseases/disorders do not), you will get no help here. My wife left in immense pain with nothing more than a "good luck". We had 2 visits and that was enough to know that Dr. Melendez lacks an empathy chip and certainly lacks an ability to "find" the answers. This was our experience. We found great Rhuematologists in Riverview area that care, listen and want to help. Dr. Melendez was none of that. We wasted a lot of valuable time with her. Again, I would keep looking if you are a loved one is sick. From Dr. Melendez's website that made us excited to go to her: "Dr. Melendez believes in providing compassionate and comprehensive patient-centered care", this is absolutely not true. Best. JKidd

I am a huge fan of Dr Melendez. I never feel like she is rushing me out the door. She takes her time, asks a ton of questions and is genuinely concerned about my well being. She is whip smart and kind. She diagnosed me and got me out of the pain that i was in. I am very happy to have her as my doctor.

Dr. Melendez was very thorough in her questioning and exam. As a new patient, I was very pleased. She took the time I needed to feel comfortable with her and the process. She has ordered testing to help us determine exactly why I'm suffering, and the best course of action. Very happy to be her patient.

I would really like to find a Dr who listens to my health concerns, just because I have RA does not mean my case is just like everyone else. Dr Melendez seems to categorize all RA patients in 1 group but we're all different. This is solely my opinion
