I had such a terrible experience seeing Dr. Cohen. I unfortunately received abnormal test results and was worried and confused, but Dr. Cohen never gave me a call to explain the results, not even after multiple messages begging her to call me. She had her assistant call me, and a later doctor told me that the assistant’s information had been incorrect as I suspected. Dr. Cohen caused me weeks of tremendous anxiety which a simple caring call would have fixed, especially since the next doctor told me that the abnormal result was a false positive! It’s not right to treat your patients this way.

Dr. Cohen is a nice person, very polite. Not sure how helpful she can be if you actually need medical care. She’s not very concerned unless it’s a dire issue. The office staff is also polite but most definitely not helpful at all. I submitted my release form for my medical records 3 weeks ago and the form has yet to be sent to their third party medical retrieval company then they have the audacity to say their third party (Ciox) takes forever and to check back in a few weeks. Not sure what’s going on in that office but to get anything done you have to call 1,000 times until they get sick of you. Dr. Cohen is a nice person, very polite. The two times that I've seen Dr Nicole Cohen she is very nice. She is a people person doctor and that's the kind you want. I move to savannah in January of 2022 I got a referral easily just like that with no problem I was able to get in and have my first appointment with no problem.I moved so I left numerous of messages for Dr C. Cohen to call me back. But whenever I would tell the whoever answered the phone they will always try to convince me that I needed to do something else. Dr. Cohen did not introduce herself and acted like she could have cared less that I was even there. I did not trust her at all to provide any care for me and I will not go back.

Dr. Cohen has a reputation of dismissing patients that have any follow up needs.

Probably the most arrogant Doctor I have ever had a visit with. Exceptionally poor communication and acts like she could care less about her patients.

Unfortunately Dr Cohen is not someone you can trust to listen and respect your elderly parent's care with, especially if English is not their first language. She refuses to communicate care instructions via anyone but her patient, even if the patient gives consent to speak to her children. Because of the miscommunications, there are billing issues, specialist referral issues- and worst of all- my mother walks out of every appointment confused and feeling like she was spoken down to because English is not her primary language. If you are someone who just needs yearly bloodwork with no follow up, Dr Cohen is great. If you would like a doctor who is empathetic and has some humanity, and can help manage elderly care, look elsewhere.

Absolutely the worst unprofessional uncaring doctor I have ever been to in my entire 40+years of my life! Do not waste your time with her or her office! I am new to this area and was referred to Dr nicole cohen for a new primary care doctor. I will say I have a rough history with health issues and am not an easy case but was desperately looking for someone who cares enough to listen and work beside me as my doctor. Boy was I wrong, first off all that clinic is is like a people farm with people flooding in and out like a factory. Very inpersonal. Then I was brought into a room where they typed up your information and got vitals then I waited for the doctor. Once she came in I was cut short numerous times while trying to explain things but she was in some sort of rush and didn't let me complete my sentences. Finally she left the room and the nurse comes in with a summary sheet of any referrals ,medication called into the pharmacy and future apts. They gave me no time to review any of this to make sure I understood what was happening. And as I tried to go through it and ask questions they kept trying to rush me out of the office. I was just another number not a patient. Then once I was home and could review the sheet they gave me it was all wrong. The place they sent a referral to was the wrong place we had talked about, the medication I wrote down that they input into their system was the wrong doses. And trying to get it all fixed was like pulling teeth and it took me more than a week to get anything fixed and once it was, the doctor said she would not see me anymore and I had to find a new doctor. I have never been treated like that in my entire life.

Dr Cohen is amazing. I went to her for a mental health appointment and she was able to properly diagnose me in one visit where other doctors never seemed to scratch the surface. I am now anxiety free and losing weight quickly. I would recommend her to anyone looking for amazing care

I recently moved to Savannah and researched looking for a new doctor. I was very nervous because I had been with my previous physician for over 20 years. Dr. Cohen was amazing. She is brilliant and kind. She took her time and discussed my history, ongoing needs and health goals. I feel very confident with her as my primary physician. I read a few negative reviews regarding the office staff. I had a VERY POSITIVE experience both in the office and when I have had to call the office regarding billing/insurance issues and personal issues. Obviously, whoever complained about "rude staff" did not speak with Sylvia. As a new patient and new to Savannah, I had several questions when I called. Sylvia helped me to get set up with the patient portal "my chart." Even though I would imagine she was quite busy--she was patient and kind and took care of all of my needs. When you are in need of a doctor, and often afraid, the first person you speak with is so important. I am grateful!

Second time I'm posting my review, because this site won't let me expand as much as I'd like. In a nutshell, Dr. Cohen is amazing. I was seen extremely quickly. Her staff are wonderful as well. I was in and out in no time. She tweaked my meds, even took me off of a med I'd been taking for years that was unnecessary . Also, having tests run to catch me up because of years of neglect from my previous doctor. For the first time in months, I finally feel well looked after and in good hands. Was impressed with how they are handling paitents entering office and checking each one to protect from corona. DR Cohen is a very good understanding Dr in and out in no time.

This was my and my wife's first time with this practice. We were greeted promptly upon arrival and all necessary isolation protocols were followed. Doctor Cohen listen to the patient concerns and she is very professional. Dr Cohen can give you her opinion and help you to feel better. She is a mother and no one knows better than a mother. She cares about your family and you. Gave yourself a chance today and visit her.

Dr Cohen is the best. She is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. The office runs very efficiently, wait time is NEVER long. I now live in Guyton and the 30 minute drive to her office is well worth the time. I would recommend Dr Cohen and this office without hesitation!

Horrible. Went in for a follow up from an ER visit. The Nurse came in and told me to take my arm out of my jacket and proceeded to ask me questions. Before I could get through the answers the nurse walks out never to return by the way. As I am sitting there with my arm still out of my jacket, I hear her staff of nurses along with the front desk person loudly discussing my business out in the hall, right next to the room as if I couldn’t hear them. I opened the door and they hushed each other. I gave them all a piece of my mind. Then, Dr. Cohen comes in and I tell her about it. She acts as if it is no big deal. Needless to say my blood pressure was never checked and I had been complaining of a high heart rate. She is very dismissive and her staff is extremely unprofessional in my experience. This was not my first visit to her but it may be my last. Find someone else if you can.

I needed a primary and wanted to discuss my anxiety issues and back pain. She was very dismissive of me and my concerns and went as far as to mom shame me when I told her of some of the underlying issues causing my anxiety. Basically, "your life is no different than any other mom's, if you did such and such better, you wouldn't have these problems." was her attitude. She left the room without even a goodbye before I could even have a chance to discuss my back pain issues.

Dr. Cohen is great. Totally professional and she takes the time to listen to me and any questions I have. I appreciate her as my doctor.

Dr. Cohen I believe saved my life. I was in and out of ER, and various dr’s. My PCP was on vacation and saw her instead. She listened to me, reviewed everything already done, and asked me if I would be willing to try 1 more antibiotic and she’d see me in 2 days. On the second day, she walked into the exam room, excused herself immediately, returned in a few minutes and told me admissions at the hospital is waiting for me. I was admitted and after the 3rd day my diagnosis was reached and being treated. Had she not listened to me, read my history/notes, actually looked and examined me (unlike my previous PCP), I truly believed I would’ve died or had permanent issues. I highly recommend her!!! Dr. Cohen is amazing! Very thorough, understanding, and answers all questions. So excited to have an est. PCP after going nearly 3 years without one.

Dr. Cohen is my Mom's doctor and took over her care when Mom's main complaint was being forgetful, beginning of what progressed to be dementia. Our medical conditions, including previous bouts with cancer and heart, have been well treated and carefully monitored. My wife Barbara and I, both in our 80's, have been Dr. Cohen's patients since April of 2018. Before this, as residents of Maryland, we had a concierge medical group for our health needs. We have found that appointments with Dr. Cohen, every three months have provided us the calibre of health care we were used too. Dr. Cohen and here back up support of other medical specialists at Memorial Hospital provides us a high level of health care.

I highly recommend Dr. Cohen. She is personable and honest. She saved my life by recommending a CT scan for severe headaches, which resulted in the removal of a brain tumor.

In the midst of the country's shutdown due to Covid-19, I had my new-patient visit, via FaceTime, with Dr. Nicole Cohen. Unusual situation for all but, we were able to establish a doctor/patient relationship using that mode of meeting. Thankful we were able to do so, under those circumstances, as I became ill a couple of weeks later. Dr. Cohen's staff was most professional scheduling FaceTime follow-up appointments. Prior to each appointment Dr. Cohen's nurse called for updates on my condition and to listen to any concerns I had regarding treatment. In the season of a pandemic, I felt I was receiving the best G.P. care possible without having to enter an office. I look forward to working with Dr. Cohen and her staff for many years to come.

The front desk and staff at Dr. Cohen's office were very attentive and I've never waited more than five or ten minutes in the waiting room. I've made several scary trips to the emergency room, once by ambulance, and have often been described as a puzzling patient. All Physicians are knowledgeable and desire what's best for their patients. But some Physicians possess a higher level of knowledge and compassion. Dr. Cohen most certainly falls into the higher knowledge, higher compassion category. It's a relief to finally have a primary care physician who understands my condition. I have peace of mind knowing that Dr. Cohen will be overseeing my care. Thank you Dr. Cohen. You are appreciated.

Dr. Cohen and her staff are always professional with just the right amount friendliness. She always takes time to listen to my concerns. Being in Savannah only 4 years, it was important to find a primary provider the first time around. I have referred 2 co-workers to her and they both are very pleased.

Our first time doing this type of appt. we thought it was very good. Every question we had was answered with thoroughness and professional. We live out of town and this type of meeting was easy and less of a haste, not having to drive in all this traffic. I would love to do that again, if appropriate. We want to thank you so much.

I love that Dr. Cohen does not beat around the bush. The visit was quick. She was honest and to-the-point. I really am not fond of hospitals, doing regular check-ups but I think with her, I will be looking forward to my annual check-ups.

Dr. Cohen, is a 5 star recommendation , no question!! Dr. Cohen, keeps eye contact with you the entire time you are talking to her. She listens and will respond, but never cuts you off. The lobby is very pleasant, the receptionists are extremely helpful and efficient. Never a long wait. Dr. Cohen’s nurse is friendly but very professional ! Greeted warmly as I walked up to the counter to sign in. Very short wait before being taken for my appointment. Everything was very professional, but very warm and cordial. Dr. Cohen spent the time I needed to have my questions answered and go over lab work results. Did not rush me at all. This is the first time I have had a female doctor and I think I am going to like it.

I chose Dr. Cohen as my primary care physician based on the positive reviews I'd seen online. During my first visit, Dr. Cohen was very dismissive and changed my thyroid medication without ever examining me or looking at bloodwork. She was hurried and didn't take the time to look at a rash on my back. When I told the nurse after the doctor had left the room, she said Dr. Cohen was busy with other patients and would call in a prescription for the rash. She did call in a prescription for a narcotic, which I did not take. Days later, I had to see another doctor and found out I had shingles. Never again! Dr. Cohen is apparently too busy to care about her patients.

The experience has been remarkable. She has choreographed a “medical makeover” with referrals to other specialists. Nothing major, just a number of small things that needed improvement, but nobody ever organized it for me before. The result is a stronger, healthier me! For her own part, she has changed my meds and brought all my lab results into normal range, encouraged me to lose weight, and taken the time to hear my concerns. The “my chart” online communication system provides same day responses to questions or requests for prescription refills which virtually eliminates long “on hold” telephone calls. I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Cohen and look forward to a long relationship with her. She is smart, she genuinely cares and she knows what to do. What more could you ask for?
