DR.Nick Pomonis is very knowledgeable and always trying to help

Dr. Pamonis has been my primary physician for the last 15yrs and he’s always been very polite and accommodating to me even if I was not. Great people ,the window girl is new, not with the program yet but I’m sure she will get there. *The only negative comment I have is that the doc gave me a ridiculous questionnaire with fixed results and told me I'm bi-polar , which I'm not , and insist on me getting a prescription of anti depressants, and sleeping pills because it takes me more than 15 mins all asleep. I'm sorry but I don't agree with that,I pay enough money each month, cash because I don't have health insurance all this extra visits and missed days from work over this mess is too much. I only added this because I see it's a common complaint here at this facility and it should be fixed. Playing with people head for a payday is the lowest form of extortion in my opinion, they gave Jon Gotti a life sentence, these Dr's get the keys to the city.

Been my family Dr since 1993 and he is amazing ! It’s obvious how he actually cares for his patients and listens to concerns . He also helped my nephew during COVID and some of my other friends and basically was available to them 24 hours a day via phone and zoom. He saved my nephews life .

He has help me so much and has saved my grandsons life… I owe everything to Dr.Pomonis

He is a amazing person and dr he got my blood pressure stable when others couldn’t so I don’t care what people say or think me and my family go to Dr P

Dr Pomonis is as good as it gets when it comes to general practioners. He does it all. His bedside manner is impeccable and his staff is delightful. Sometimes the wait is long, but they do not schedule appts and so it it "first come, first served". I used to take my kids to Dr Waldrep and have been looking for another Dr for a long time, as my experience with her was horrible. I highly recommend Dr Pomonis if you live in Orange! Dr. Pomonis has been our family Doctor for 27 years. He has always been "on point" with our medical needs and diagnosis. I highly recommend and respect his opinion.

This doctor is the embodiment of the word greed. If you so much as even hint at any other problem than the one you initially came in for he'll make you schedule and pay for a new appointment before even discussing a single word with you about it. He is a great doctor! The staff is all very friendly. Usually you have to wait a while but I believe it is worth it because he takes his time and truly cares for his patients.

Very compassionate and caring.

Every visit, this man tried to put me on various medicines or pushed expensive testing. My blood pressure has always been normal but my last visit it was normal in 1 arm but elevated in the other arm. Doctor acknowledged my BP had always been normal but since the bottom number was now 86 in 1 arm but 80 on the other arm, I needed to start taking blood pressure meds. I refused and left. I've been doing hurricane cleanup and was very anxious and exhausted. No wonder it was up a bit. But 1 visit with an elevated level is not enough for a diagnosis and forcing me to take more meds. Very unsafe practice.

I will never go back to this office again. I cant tell you how much i personally went through because of pomonis. Me and my family are all switching .

I would not recommend this doctor. He would not refill a repeat prescription for a problem that I have had for 6 years as he wants me to go to the office and pay for another consultation. The disease has not changed and I feel like this is a money making scheme and not caring for the patient and making sure they have the right medication when they are experiencing a problem. Best Dr. I have ever had. He has been perfect in every professional aspect of my care, respectfully in every regard with his most considerate demeanor, 100% devoted attention to me on each & every appointment. Doctors are people too & this one is these best I've ever seen. Brilliant & superb Dr.

On Feb.26,2020 my daughter entered Beaumont Baptist hospital ER and after 3 days of testing was diagnosed with liver cancer. We were able to get an appointment with Dr. Pomonis on Mar. 3rd and found him to be very thorough in his examination, having a compassionate demeanor, treated her with the utmost attention, respect and dignity. The staff was likewise very considerate and helpful in providing the required referrals for treatments. She passed away on Mar,10. I rate the service of Dr. Nick Pomonis and the entire office with 5 stars.

He almost killed me. He should not be allowed to practice medicine.

I was released as a pt for no cause and no explanation. I was always on time. Never complained followed all Tx course. On last appt for weight class I was not included after I had been waiting 3 hours. When finally seen I asked a question not related to weight Only reason I can come up with for being released

Second, we waited about three hours just to be placed inside a room. Third, when we got inside the room, it smelt like alcohol, hopefully, it was just rubbing alcohol, but we were suffocating in it. We looked around because it look sketchy, the biohazard trash can was Open and dirty. The drawers had opened supplies just lying in the dust. We looked for a certificate about his creditials and none found. We waited another hour for the doctor finding out that he skipped our room. No words can describe how horrible this so called, "doctor" is. He's already been reported to the Texas Medical Board by two other people besides myself and put on probation numerous times. He thinks he's a psychiatrist trying to diagnose me with bipolar II disorder instead of what my psychologist diagnosed me with which was ADHD. and he makes you come back day after day just to tell you one more thing which he could have told you all in the same day. I have been seeing Dr. Pomonis since I moved here from another state. The girls are always exceptionally nice to me, I do not have long wait times either, they have walks ins from 8-11 and 1-3 it’s best to get there right before they open at 8 and you will be seen quickly. Dr. Pomonis has always taken the time to sit and chat with me, he’s always very friendly when he comes into the room, he’s never came in and been rude to me as others have stated on here, I don’t buy it. Do not go to this man for any reason. His sole purpose is to garner more funds, more funds. The wait times are ridiculous, his staff is pretty nice, but he refuses to see you for more than one issue at a time. I would have to go in multiple times a week just to get things addressed. Dr. Pomonis is a sactimonious, egotistical, pompous windbag. You cannot talk to the man because you'd have to be just as condescending, and arrogant as him just for him to understand you. His office keeps horrible records, and it takes an act of Congress just to get medication authorized from his office to the pharmacy. He cannot remember anything about previous visits, and he certainly doesn't read his charts, as he keeps re-hashing issues that have already been addressed, previously. He likes to talk to patients like they're below him, and actually had the audacity to call me a "bad patient" because he can't keep up with prescribed treatments... On one visit, he actually recommended to me that I get a gastric sleeve for my weight loss, after only one visit about this issue. "Doctor" Pomonis also likes to pretend that he's a psychologist... he diagnosed me as "bi-polar" after only two five-minute visits, and reading a short-questionnaire that I filled out (10-20 questions.) Pomonis doesn't listen when you speak to him, which is clear by his constant interjections, i.e. mmhmm, yea, sure, ok. Pomonis is in such a hurry to rush people in and out of his office, it's almost like he's going for kind of quota. This doctor is psych drugs happy. He does not mind doping children and adults up needlessly. My granddaughter was on a psych med and had a bad reaction. She hallucinating, heart rate extremely fast, blood pressure dangerously high. Went to e r and he was called. Told e r Dr to send her to Houston Texs Children Hospital and lock her up on psych ward. Said she is psychotic. Did not do that. And when we went home he never called to see how she was doing. And got angry when we did not admit her. And dropped her as a patient. I have lived in different countries & different states; this is by far the WORST doctor I've ever been to! Today I waited over 3 hours to be seen and was there almost 4 hours total. I have waited 2-3 hours many times. I've been going here for a year & every time I go, the only thing they do is write prescriptions. Today they skipped over my name on accident and this last part is what made me find another dr-THEY LOST MY PREVIOUS RECORDS from the last year! RUN! They need to shut this place down.

The wait is miserable! If you're thinking of seeing him, expect to wait at least 2 hours. I waited 4 hours!! Plus once you get to the back, you're still waiting forever.
