I would give 0 stars but there is not that option. Why? Because I was "ON" time for my 9:30 appointment & was turned away because an online questionnaire was not filled in completely. I drove 1 1/2 for this appointment & I am 66 years old & am not computer savvy. Beware when making an appointment with this office.

What a great dr! Listened to me compassionately and honestly explained what he can help with. Love the fact he's trying to help me truly heal rather than another chemical band-aid. Appreciate your time and expertise.

Loved Dr. Scott however his staff fails him on so many levels to the point I will not waste my time going back.. Rude and inconsiderate would be an understatement for his Medical assistant, she likes to talk over you and get louder to make her point and doesn't have the courtesy or personality to listen… two weeks to return a phone call when you are in chronic pain is unacceptable when they created the issue . Its a shame because he is a good doctor..but dealing with his staff isn't worth it to me… I wish there was a way to let him know how his staff is so Im hoping he sees this review. Dr Scott is outstanding. Very concise and informative; while remaining a good listener. Never feel rushed during an appointment.

Everything went extremely smooth. From filling out new patient paperwork, to scheduling a appointment, and every interface with the staff was perfect. I have been a patinet of Doctor Scott in the past from a prior place and believe he's a excellent doctor and a sincere human being.

Dr Scott has a terrific bedside manner and always always always explains procedures prior to having them done. Dr Scott is extremely knowledgeable in his several fields of specialties. Dr Scott bent over backwards to help us and get our procedure scheduled in record time.

Used tele-conference because of COVID-19, Dr Scott asked good questions and showed interest in my replies. He recomended four steps to help with back pain and scheduled another appointment to dicuss a new MRI. I am pleased with the visit and looking foward to the next visit.

On my first visit with Dr. Scott, I found him to be very knowledgeable, took time to explain the procedure, and answer my questions prior proceeding with the treatment. Also found his staff to be well trained, helpful, and knowledgeable of their roll in the process.

Dr. Scott has exceptional education, training, and medical experience. He is also a great communicator and a great guy. I had chronic pain for years and have had all kinds of treatment, most of which failed or wore off quickly. Finally. a friend referred me to Dr. Scott who offered a comprehensive treatment plan to alleviate my pain. It's working and he worked with my health insurance. Forget the rest. See the best - Dr. Scott. He can help.

"We Change Lives Here" is the motto of this practice. Dr. Scott embodies this; he surely changed my life. When I met him in 2014, I was in a power wheelchair; recovering from a subarachnoid hemorrhage; recently released from a nursing home, being transitioned to Assisted Living, and miserable. His care over the past 6 years - beginning with pain management and interventional procedures such as RFAs and epidurals, has me now in an active lifestyle in my own home that does not rely on using a wheelchair. Sound pain management allowed me to actively undertake a challenging rehabilitation regimen. Two years ago, at my request, I transitioned out of opioid pain medication with his support and guidance. Currently I see him for interventional procedures as necessary, which continue to sustain the improved quality of my life. I highly recommend Dr. Scott, and his colleagues, at Arizona Pain Specialists; as well as their proprietary surgical facility - Surgery Center of Scottsdale.

Very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and understand! And he listens to what my concerns are!

Dr. Nicholas Scott is my GO TO specialist! In April and the first days of May 2019, he prefomed 7 prodecures on me. Sacral RFA's, Lumbar L3-S1 and L2 - plus hip and piriformis injections as well as trigger point injections. His professionalism, his ability to listen, adapts in small and big ways on the fly and to make sure awake patients and pre-sedations patients are informed fully and succintly. He TOUCHES his patients - and that connection creates a bond that is amazing. All my procedures were without sedation - but when needed, steps were taken to mitigate discomfort during the RFA's. That small change (cold spray) makes a huge impact on during and post procedure comfort. I'm happy you've found Dr. Scott -- I fly up from Mexico to be under his care - that is how much I trust the skills and integrity of this man. Dr Scott has gone above n beyond to research my condition and greatly improve the quality of my life and that of my family by reducing my pain and increasing my range of motion and physical abilities. He practices an integrative manner and combines multiple disciplines. The office staff goes out of their way to make sure patients understand their treatment and the surgical staff at Mtn Virw Surgery center that his offices uses is a well oiled machine that cares for patients sublimely????

I have had doctor Nicholas Scott for more than 8 years now with various chronic pain issues. He has helped me in more ways than one by injections, nerve blocks, and creams. My experience with Dr. Scott was not one that I would want another patient to have!! I had two Spinal injections, with no pain relief. Praise God, because of no relief from the first one; he had to repeat the first one at which time he was supposed to do a nerve burn! During that time, I discovered the only he knew my name was my chart had my name on it. He was rude, didn't know me. I discovered he was running a pain management factory!!! Greed has blinded this man!!!

After seeing Dr. Scott for Epidural injections on my back He has made my life close to normal as much as possible. I can do my daily activities. I would recommend Dr. Scott to anyone and everyone. Before seeing Dr. Scott my pain level was a 12 being the worst after my injections my pain level is a 1. We live in Lake Havasu City, Arizona and drive 4 hours to see Dr. Scott. Thank You Dr. Scott for all you have done for me.

I have been a patient of Dr Scotts for several years now. He and his team at Arizona Pain Specialists in Scottsdale Arizona has performed many RadioFrequency Ablations to many parts of my spine, and has helped me tremediously with my Bells Palsey. He is the best Doctor I know! Thank you Dr Scott for all you do for me to live a normal life!

I will give Dr. Scott a very high rating. In November of 2017 my back pain was so bad I had a hard time getting out of bed. Since I have under the care of Dr. Scott I have improved very much. I'm still not 100 percent but I am 84 years of age. Dr. Scott takes the time and interest in figuring out what you need to move forward. I am still a patient and I highly recommend him to any one.

Dr. Scott is a brilliant, compassionate and get things done correctly the first time Doctor. He is a rare find, he is willing to help relieve even very complex cases and in a very timely fashion. I have been all over the Valley and US, Dr. Scott stands out as a wonderful Doctor and resource for pain patients. It is very sad today how many Doctor's can't or won't help. DR. Scott is the exact opposite. He wants to be able to help you with appropriate and effective help. He is the best!

Dr Scott is an absolutely AMAZING pain management doctor. I have a very complex painful disease called CRPS. I have been seeing Doctor Scott since my diagnosis which was nearly three years ago. He always goes above and beyond to help me in any way I need. He is by far the most compassionate doctor I've had. He always makes time for me and answers any questions I may have. I also can always get in contact when I need him. I Highly recommend him. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would.

Dr. Nicholas Scott has been treating my Father’s widespread chronic pain for the past 4 years. Dr. Scott has renewed my Father’s quality of life, and for that, we are very grateful. Dr. Scott has always treated my Father with the utmost respect, genuine compassion, and cautious care. He treats my Father like someone he genuinely cares about; not just a number at the clinic. We feel fortunate to have Dr. Nicholas Scott as part of my Father’s amazing medical team!

I give Dr Scott the highest rating possible. Dealing with PAIN often not visible is tricky. Dr Scott takes the time and interest in figuring out what you need to move forward. Unfortunately I have pain from back ( second surgery and Psoriatic Arthritis). I am currently a patient and I highly recommend him.

Had 7 Radio Frequency Ablations for lower spine over last 2 1/2 years. My pain decreased but always came back. NERVE's regrow. I needed a letter or a form I had for SSDI (Disabilty). Well, Dr. Nick seemed agitated that I would request his help? Stated "we don't help people with that". He knows me well, his response "lets get you better by doing another procedure"-$ is always on his mind. My observation, its an out patient "Surgery Mill", no time for talk. I did get my letter from "Pinnacle Pain"

I was experiencing back pain which caused my early retirement. I saw numerous doctors however my pain was not relieved. As the pain increased I was spending the majority of time in bed. Thank God I found doctor Scott at Arizona Pain Specialist. Finally I found a doctor that relieved my back pain. He is kind, professional and compassionate. His staff is friendly and efficient. My life has been restored to me due to doctor Scott. Thank you doctor Scott, you are a great, amazing doctor!!!

I have suffered from low back pain for years. After a series of injections and then 2 spinal fusion surgeries, my pain was somewhat better...but not enough to have a "normal" life. I consulted a few other doctors who had nothing more to offer. Dr. Scott offered radio frequency ablations of my SI joints and lumbar region. He performed those ablations and my pain is MUCH diminished. I am back to a normal life! He is knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. Thank you, Dr. Scott!

I was told by their staff it’s not their responsibility - it’s mine. If there are any complications, which I’m not sure how I would have known if I had any - but if there were - it was not THEIR responsibility- it was supposedly MY responsibility to call THEM. For the life of me I have never seen anything like this before. It’s basically a meat factory and should be investigated. This was basically one of those scenarios where the doctor makes a lot of money and the patient doesn’t benefit by it

Had a rocky start after transferring from another state. After a few disappointing appointments I was at my wits end. Frustrated, I finally expressed all my concerns and feelings where we finally met in the middle. Ever since, I have been extremely pleased with the outcomes of my procedures, PT and medication regimen. Dr Scott is a man who will tell you like it is without beating around the bush. Very friendly, respectful, polite, listens and addresses the issues at hand.
