Dr Lygzios is an excellent doctor

I was referred to Dr. Lygizos by another doctor. The referring doctor was trying to make up for, I believe, a mistake she made. Dr. Lygizos was honest, straightforward, and reassuring. He performed a nasal test in his office, which was not that bad, and scheduled an ultrasound at a facility more convenient to me. I did research him before scheduling (as I truly disliked the referring doctor) and he was all and more than his reviews claimed. He is the only ENT I would ever see and would recommend him to everyone.

Great doctor and person

He takes his time, I did not feel rushed at all. He listened to all of my concerns and addressed each of them. Explains things in a way so I can understand them. He is wonderful!

When I got there the staff was incredibly rude and assumed I knew things that were their procedures but I’ve never been there before. Once I saw the doctor and the Hearing Specialist they were both great and then when I came out the staff was much nicer.

He’s compassionate, and really cares about his patients. I highly recommend him.

From his bed side manner to his surgical expertise, Dr. Lygizos is top notch. I will never look for another ENT.

I've been to a few ENTs now and he's the one I will be sticking with. Also, bonus: His office is like right in the middle of the mall, so you can get yourself some food and clothes after getting your ears and nose issues resolved. Total win. My first time seeing Dr Lygizos and had a great experience. Took a lot of time , answered all my questions & thoroughly explained & reviewed results of audiogram. The office staff very friendly & helpful as well.????

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Lygizos for several years as she had chronic ear problems. Dr. Lygizos is very thorough, listens to his patients and has an awesome bedside manner.

Dr Lygizos is very welcoming and warm and give the patient the time needed to explain things and answer questions. He has a great bedside manor. If anyone asks me for a recommendation I will not hesitate to provide the doctors name and phone number.

Nicholas Lygizos M.D. has a Strong work ethic. He did surgery on my broken nose November 13, 2019 and put it back to normal thanks to his special skills. I genuinely thank him and his team for their dedication and commitment.

...Dr. Nick saved my life when he removed a stage 4 cancerous 5 inch tumor from my throat....I had only 6 weeks to live.....now it is two years later...and his follow up visits are thorough and often...he is a great Doctor... besides he is very handsome and always has a beautiful smile for you...............

The doctor saw me at the end of the day due to an accident. He was extremely friendly, patient and answered all questions I had. I would highly recommend him based upon just this one visit. It’s refreshing to find a new doctor who seems genuinely interested and considerate!

Dr. Lygizos is professional yet friendly and seemed to show a genuine interest in treating my long history of sinus issues. He took his time in explaining immediate and long term treatment.

He’s very nice, polite, and took the time to explain things and answer my questions.

The staff was very nice and helpful. As for Dr Lygizos, he is very knowledgeable, he listens to you and the reason that brought you to see him, does not rush when he examines you. Very friendly.

Brought my mom in to Dr. Lygizos for an ear cleaning. All went extremely well. He was quick and efficient with a good bedside manner. He has also taken care of other members of my family as I always recommend him and have gotten positive feedback from them.

Felt rushed and like I couldn't ask him questions. I left without feeling assured that I got the attention needed to my concerns. I paid $200 out of pocket and my appointment wasn't even 15 minutes. Doctor could practice being empathetic/compassionate with patients and LISTENING to what they have to say. I told him what happened in my case and twice he repeated the wrong information/out of order events like it was fact. Take patients' word for it- they know their bodies! Also was not aware of functional/holistic medicine. I said I had sinus congestion that day due to a histamine response & gut issues. He shortly then mentioned my sinuses being inflamed "due to the cold or whatever you've got going on there." Really didn't feel heard or like he truly cared and again was out in a flash. The clinic staff I interacted with were nice though, I just would try another doctor.

Dr. Lygizos was great! I was very pleased with his professionalism. My son needed surgery to fix his broken nose. His nose is perfect!

My daughter came in with frequent nosebleeds. Dr Lygizios was very kind, explained the procedure, and explained what my daughter should expect. He is very competent and made my daughter feel at ease. Definitely would recommend Dr. Lygizios.

Dr. Lygizos was very helpful. He listened to everything I was dealing with, explained what he was going to do, did testing and thoroughly explained the results. I found him to be very respectful and caring. He was thorough, did not rush and was very helpful.

In addition to being a talented otolaryngologist, Dr Lygizos is compassionate, kind and very thorough.

In this day and age, it is rare to find a doctor with such quality clinical skills and who also possesses such a kind and caring bedside manner. I am an RN and travel over 3 hours to have him as my ENT. I highly recommend him in every capacity.

Everytime I see doctor Nick it's just such a pleasant experience. He is such a nice knowledgeable man and doctor . Few people have an enjoyable time going to a doctor but I do when they are as nice as him. God bless him

I've known Dr. Lygizos for over 25 years he is a excellent doctor that is compassionate & who listens attentively & wants to help you whatever medical issues are bothering you. I highly recommend him to anyone especially with sinus problems!

????‍♀️I visited Dr Lygizos for the first time for a comprehensive ear, nose and throat evaluation. Dr Lygizos is a top-notch Specialist. And the staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend that you pay a visit to Dr Lygizos if you are ever in need of an ear, nose and throat Specialist.

I called them and asked about appointment: they said ot depends on a situation, theres no flat rate on consultation, they said: from 200-700$ it might be, so for people who dont have insurance its tough. How about doctor should help to people instead of charging them that much of money!

Dr. Lygizos was thorough on my evaluation of my hearing issues. He listened very carefully to my current issues and what has led up to my hearing impairment. He directed me to his assistants for hearing tests which further defined my issues. Sandra Harris the audiologist who Dr. Lygizos directed me to, was thorough and direct on what was going on with my hearing. Afterwards Dr. Lygizos explained the findings of the tests and made recommendations to further treatment of my hearing problems.

The Skokie office was very pleasant on the phone and accommodated me into an appointment at the Lake Shore Drive office. The girl that took my call was great. I wish I had her name for this review. Dr. Lygizos was there late, took his time, is extremely pleasant, polite and personable. He's confident and passionate about what he's doing. Dr. Lygizos was informative and took the time to go over the issues. He seems to be a compassionate man and an important quality for a Dr. I really liked him and he is solving my sinus issues. Dr. Lygizos is absolutely amazing. I started having ear problems back in 2000 and I made my first appointment with Dr. Lygizos. I was nervous and unsure of what to expect. He made my first appointment comfortable and put my nerves at ease. He has improved my hearing and helped to cure my ear infections. The best part about seeing Dr.Lygizos is knowing that whatever issue I am having with my ears, it will be fixed. It's always very reassuring to know that he does remember all his patients as individuals and he treats them that way as well. He is very welcoming, understanding and he genuinely cares about his patients and their health which is hard to find in many doctors today.
