Dr. Vu is best in class. Amazing.

Okay she's a little stern and rigid, like you'd expect from an Asian aunt, but she's extremely knowledgeable and very kind... like you'd expect from an Asian aunt! I'd rather have nobody else as my allergist, because she's exceptional at explaining things and determining root causes using all diagnostic tools available.

Dr Vu is very knowledgeable and keeps up to date with current studies in the field. Doing so Dr Vu keeps us apprised of the latest allergy information concerning our little one. She takes the time to explain results and how they fit into the big picture. We leave the office feeling empowered; with a definitive plan for the future ...it's very comforting. The office staff are amazing. They're super friendly, helpful, patient and accommodating. The office, itself, is clean. I'd highly recommend the practice. Thanks for all your help!!! Dr. Vu and the entire staff at Allergy Partners have been an amazing source of help for me. I have been getting allergy shots here for 2 years now, and they have helped my symptoms tremendously. If you’re debating whether or not it’s worth it to commit to driving to an office every week for a shot—it is worth every second!! My seasonal and pet allergies especially used to be unbearable—now when I’m around a friend’s dogs or cats, I can pretty much stick my face in their fur without any consequences. It’s truly amazing. Dr. Vu is a kind and thorough allergy specialist. She makes sure you fully understand the diagnoses and prognoses of living and thriving with allergies. Her experience and intuition saved my small child from other severe food reactions, because she preemptively tested for similar foods others may not realize. (Specifically testing for sesame allergies when tree nut allergies are present). The front office and nursing staff is also top notch in their efficiency, but NEVER at the sacrifice of kindness, patience, and quality care. Highly recommend! The team at Allergy Partners in Herndon is the best! Literally. I do not think there is a better medical office, across any practice, in the country. The entire experience, from making an appointment to in-office experience, is seamless. The fact that they truly care about their patients is evident through it all. Coming from a family of doctors, I do not say this lightly: Dr. Vu might be the single best allergist in the country. How can I make such a bold statement? Well, I saw some of the most highly esteemed allergists (including the editor of the textbook for Allergy and Immunology fellows at John's Hopkins), and they could not figure out what why I was breaking out in hives for years. Dr. Vu did. She is not like other allergists. She WILL get to the root of the problem (she won't stop until she does), and use a data and research based approach to figure out the best solution. Dr. Vu utilizes a data driven and investigative approach to solving health issues as well as listening to the voice of the patient. She is up to date on the newest methods and procedures. She also takes the time to explain them in plain terms with visual aids.

My appointment went great this week. When I first walked in I noticed how clean the waiting room was and how friendly the staff was. Dr. Vu was very attentive and took the time to closely listen and review my allergy records. She was very thorough and made a great treatment plan for me. It was one of the best experiences I had at a doctors office. When leaving, the staff at the front helped me quickly schedule my next appointment and were very understanding of my work situation. 5/5 I would recommend coming to Dr. Vu's office. I have been a patient of Dr. Vu's for several years. I was referred from my primary care physician given my specific health issue as she is known to specialize in this area. She is an excellent doctor who is thorough, an expert in her field, and diligent in finding solutions for her patients. She takes the time to listen, review your case file, and continue to find ways to help alleviate symptoms. The office staff are great! The customer service has been excellent with ease of scheduling, as well as regular follow up from the front office staff and nurses whenever there has been a change either initiated from them or me. Dr is always very rushed , doesn’t listen , doesn’t answer questions, doesn’t want questions , is rude about conditions and other specialities. Uses very disrespectful words and assumes things as fact . walks into the room not knowing the patient , doesn’t acknowledge patient, very dismissive. honestly everything about this dr is not good . she may be good at treating adults ,I don’t know ,but she shouldn’t be treating babies . I’m not criticizing her diagnosis or treatment plan ,I’m criticizing her lack of human empathy ,politeness and behavior. No one wants to see a dr that’s mean. I think I’m done with this review now ,Just avoid if you don’t want to feel judged .

Dr is always rushed , doesn’t listen , doesn’t answer questions , doesn’t want questions, very dismissive, assumes things as facts ,disrespectful to other specialties ( she said dermatology is not rocket science , they only have to treat one organ , the skin and any dermatologist can treat a skin condition . This definitely had me questioning her credentials and just basic human decency) I chose her based on reviews . Very surprised by her continued behavior and attitude in treating my son . She doesn’t even acknowledge his presence . I’m Not criticizing her medical diagnosis or treatment plan (I don’t have enough information to make that decision yet ) I’m criticizing her lack of empathy and communication skills. Don’t take your babies to see her , she doesn’t care . And if a dr tells you , it’s just eczema ,run the other way . Clearly doesn’t understand how awful eczema is.

Dr. Vu is amazing. She is one of the most thorough, well versed experts in Allergy and Immunology that I have met. She addressed all my concerns and directly gave suggestions and explanations. I recommend her to all of my family members and friends.

Super happy with Dr Vu. She's the first doctor who ever took the time to explain to me exactly how my allergies and asthma were related, with a model. It's great to take my allergic kids to a doctor who navigates the same challenges with her own child.

Dr. Vu is FANTASTIC! I cannot emphasize that enough. I am in the midst of a myriad of testing for a "mystery illness" as termed by my doctors. I was referred to Dr. Vu by my primary care doctor, my GI doctor, AND the Reston Emergency Department. Not only is she caring and to-the-point, she is extremely knowledgeable. She has been the most attentive doctor I've seen so far, asking very detailed questions and actively listening. I am confident that she will either find the answer to my mystery illness or at the very least contribute greatly to finding a diagnosis. Dr Vu was very attentive and did a terrific job of explaining the testing she and her staff were performing. She was patient with my daughter who was tentative and came up with a good outcome for our situation.

I have been suffering from chronic hives (urticaria) for 2.5 years with no relief and far too many steroids. After a few meetings with Dr. Vu we came up with a new treatment plan and currently am experiencing no hives for the first time in years. I would highly recommend Dr Vu to anyone who needs help on allergy related ailments. My daughter had very severe eczema that ruined her skin but when we got in touch with Dr Vu,she explained to us in very simple terms what was happening and patiently helped us to determine the issues that caused this severe eczema. Dr. Vu was highly recommended by my GI doctor. I've had 2 appointments with her so far and I've been impressed with the care she's given me. She explained my problem (eosinophilic esophagitis) very well and outlined a clear treatment plan for me. She has excellent bed-side manners. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Vu is without a doubt the best doctor that I've been to!! She listened to my problems, spent time to explain the results and treatment plan for my allergies and asthma. She even brought in a lung model to show me what my asthma is like. Very educational appointment. I highly recommend!!

We saw Dr. Vu when our daughter had a severe reaction to formula. We were told it was a food allergy but after going to see Dr. Vu she corrected the diagnosis we had received from the emergency room physician and determined she had FPIES (there's a big difference!). Dr. Vu is a very caring doctor, and really takes the time to make sure that I understand everything before I leave her office. She was thorough in explaining my son's labwork. My son has severe food allergies and she's done a great job taking care of him.

Office is in a great location near Reston hospital. I've seen Dr. Vu about 5 times. She is very detail-oriented and organized. She always does a great job explaining all my medical problems and answering all my questions patiently. She provides a lot of educational material and handouts.. Overall, I've had an excellent experience with Dr. Vu and her staff. I see her about twice a year.

Dr. Vu has cared for my three children who has allergies, asthma and food allergies. She's gentle and extremely patient with my kids (even when they're not on their best behavior in her office). She is always professional, and takes the time to answer all my questions.

I've had life-long eczema. I've gone to many dermatologist that don't seem to care about treating patients with eczema. Dr. Vu was great. She spent a lot of time discussing how to care for my skin, and what medications to use. She explained everythiing really well. My eczema has been looking great!!

I am so happy that I came to Dr. Vu. My daughter has suffered with terrible eczema since age 3 months.We have gone to 2 dermatologists but have seen very little change. My daughter is now 9 months old. Dr. Vu spent time gathering information and only recommended tests that were necessary. She diagnosed my daughter with food allergies and recommended that we remove 2 foods from her diet. She also spent a lot of time discussing skin care. Within 6 weeks, my child's skin improved significantly. My daughter is a different child- she is happy, comfortable and for the first time in her life, she is sleeping through the night. Dr. Vu is not only knowledgeable, she is also very compassionate. Apparently, her son has food allergies and eczema so she really understands how hard it is to care for a child like that. She spent a lot of time with me and gave me all kinds of handout. I highly recommend Dr. Vu.

I would not suggest this place, they will take advantage of you. My wife went to this practice, and through the expensive testing, she was told that the follow-up to discuss the lab work and testing was going to be free, however they charged our healthcare insurance for the visit and stole money from our HRA. Not only that, but they couldn't even find what my wife was allergic to after all the tests. Would never recommend this practice to anyone.
