Dr Tajong is the best and I refuse to see any other gastroenterologist. You are in the best hands if you see him.

Dr Tajong has been my doctor over 16 plus years. He is an excellent doctor and takes a team approach to managing his patients care.

Very knowledgeable, he explained my condition and was able to help me after seeing another doctor in the past who could not figure it out. Short wait.

Dr Tajong seems more than competent in his ability as a doctor. Condition was well explained and I did not feel rushed. He is knowledgeable and experienced. It's everything else that falls short. Procedures are 6-10 weeks out and wait times for appointments are absurd. I arrived at 9am for a 915am appointment and was seen at 10:30. Same thing for a procedure, I waited over 90 minutes past my stated time before I was seen. The facility he uses for procedures over charged me $600 and despite arguing with billing that my insurance does not expect me to pay that much out of pocket, I was charged anyways. Thankfully my insurance was helpful enough to call the doctor's office and confirm the overcharge. I waited a month for a refund. Want to know the office hours? Don't expect to find those on the website, nor the office door nor on after hours messaging. They are not posted anywhere. Seeing Dr Tajong is not worth the headache.

I previously misspoke, it was not Dr. Tajong or his staff that turned me over to collections, nor is it them who have billed me repeatedly. It's the anesthesiologist who was present at my procedure, who sends bills marked as "Parkside Surgery." I like Dr. Tajong, and he is a teaching physician as well, which makes me like him more. However, I would ask a lot of questions about the anesthesiologist they work with before allowing him to perform a surgery on you. The whole group uses Frost-Arnett as a connections agency and FA is nasty, nasty, nasty. The last person I spoke to from them was rude and refused to tell me who turned me over to collections, leading to me blaming Dr. Tajong. Anyways, Dr. Tajong's staff was very kind when I spoke to them and they were very patient with me. Faith restored, in Dr. T and his office at least.

I feel fortunate to have met Dr. Tajong. My symptoms have greatly improved under his care.

Wish I could give him 5 stars but my husband never got the opportunity to see him. The lady in the front office was sweet and did everything she could do help obtain records today. This is the only reason why it is not a 1 star review. Dr. Tajong had both records and insurance information and refused to see my husband due to seeing another gastro doctor almost two years ago. Dr. Tajong had appointment availability for next week and I did everything I could to obtain records so we can save this spot in order for my husband to be seen ASAP. Since my husband was appointed a Doctor in the emergency room and it was not a Doctor he could just choose, Dr. Nelson REFUSED to see a patient of another Doctor even though it has been almost two years since his gallbladder surgery. The clinic had an appointment for June 9th and even if my husbands symptoms needed a gastro doctor sooner, the original Doctor who performed his operation does not have availability until JULY 13TH! So don't call this doctor if you had another operation done. Even if it has been over a year. You will just waste your time.

This doctor and his practice are the best. I’ve been going to him for several years. He’s always so thorough personable and knowledgeable. I have so much confidence in him that he will cure me for anything I have.

Dr. Tajong and his nursing staff are great. I would give a 5 star if only #1 they did not charge for follow up appointments or minimized the charge to $50 and #2 they would stop requiring masks, like most of the rest of the country. A $108.00 charge to get results after you've already paid a huge amount for a procedure did not used to happen. My time is worth money as well and I have to drive to get there, then wait an extra 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time only to have 3 minute visit seems ridiculous to me. Dr Tajong is very thorough. He listens and answers any questions I may have.

Dr. Tajong is very professional in his work, I was 3 years with this problem, I visited several doctors, but none found a solution. Dr. Tajong found that I have problems in my stomach and with my gallbladder, now with treatment and surgery I will be much better.

Everyone is most professional but also very personable. They understand what you are going through and make the process as easy as possible.

Dr Tajong was very compassionate about my situation. He explained the reasoning about the situation. He also discussed other options for me.

Called after hours and canceled my appointment the night before my appointment after waiting for a week to see him while I'm having a life threatening flare up of diverticulitis saying that he couldn't see me because I'd seen another GI in the last 3 years. Absolutely ridiculous and totally uncaring and unprofessional. Run away from him as fast as you can.

This place is awful. The staff at the Conroe location is a joke. I had to have a follow up due to the fact that my Gastritis sent me to the emergency room. Not only did I have to wait a week and half to be seen, but the day of my appointment 5/8/19 I called to confirm my time, and the lady proceeded to tell me that I couldnt come in unless they received my referral. She stated that she has been requesting it since I set up the appointment, but that my PCP had not responded. My PCP is located literally 20 ft fro their office. I gave my PCP a call and she stated that they had not requested it until 5/8/19 at 9:20, and she also let me know that they faxed it to them at 10:40. I called Dr Tajong's office back and she stated that she must have overlooked it on the fax machine. So not only did she lie about how long she had requested it, but she also told me I couldnt come in even though she had the referral there! I get to my appointment and check in. Dr. Tajong has been my husband's Dr. for years and has been outstanding. He worked diligently to find out what what the cause of my husband's issues were and spent a great deal of time, both while in the hospital and his office visits - explaining and treating him. I think he's a great doctor - great bedside manner and very intelligent. He's constantly reading new information in the field and watches studies closely. I would highly recommend him!

This Dr and his staff are very rude. When you arrive the front desk person always sounds irritated for having to check you in. The doctor would only spend five minutes with me, seemed to always be in a hurry. Very disappointing.

Could not have had a better experience with my initial visit and colonoscopy

It has been six months since my colonoscopy, and it was a wonderful experience with Doctor Tajong. He made me feel as it he really cared about me and every question I had was answered. His staff was very polite and professional.

Dr. Tajong was great to my husband in the hospital. He had a serious problems, and he didn’t hesitate to get us to the best surgeon in Houston.

Dr. Tajong is very nice and has a great bedside manner. I would definitely recommend him for any GI issues you might be experiencing. He is very knowledgeable and will take his time to listen so that he may develop the appropriate plan of care for you.

I really like Dr Tajong. I was having some problems and really needed to see a GI doctor and I called two other offices and they all could not see me until in two weeks. When I called Dr Tajong's office the staff told me they were booked for the day but when I told her what was going on with me, she told me she could try to make and exception and see if Dr Tajong was going to let her add me to the schedule the next day.. She puts me on hold and later came back and told me she could get me in.

Dr. Tajong took care of my child when she was sick. She had never gone to a gastroenterologist before and he was very patient and explained everything so she and I could understand. I have even recommended my friends to him.

I am 44 years old and lost my large intestine in 09 due to Crohn’s Disease. I have a J-Pouch and occasionally the pouch gets inflamed which requires a hospital stay and strong IV medications to fix it. Seven years ago, I met Dr. Tajong while in the hospital and since then he has been my GO TO Gastroenterologist. We have forged a great patient/doctor relationship that has kept me alive. He is able to maintain my health and keep me healthy for long periods of time. Highly recommend him!

Dr, Tajong was nice, but pretty set in his diagnosis before seeing me for 10 min. He put me on meds for 2 months after making me wait a month to schedule any procedures, after no change in my condition he wanted me to "give it time". I had same symptoms going on for 6 months. Scheduled with different Dr. His staff (mainly receptionist) is horrible. Rude and lazy. Avoid if you can.

I had a very wonderful experience today. the staff and the doctor are very attentive and listen to the patient. The wait time was the shortest I have experienced in a long time. the Doctor was very helpful. Very professional staff and doctor.

dr tajong is a very good gastro doctor, but his staff was very rude to me when I called 10 days later to see if dr Tajong had the results of a biopsy , I was told on the 7th day that drnTajong was not in town to call back after Wednesday which I did on Thursday, and the staff lady that spoke to me was rude and hateful about giving me the answer, she did not get dr Tajong she just said very gruff, they were negatve and hung up on me, . Not sure that I will visit that facility again.

Admitted to the hospital direct admit by the doctor. He came in 1 time in 4 day's of the admission and never came back. I was abandoned by my own doctor and left to be treated by family practice residents who hadn't a clue what to do. We all called his office in total about 15 times without a response and then to be discharged on the 4th day without his diagnosis and leaving hospital with the same awful abdominal pain. Family practice resident came in and said well I talked to the doctor finally

Absolutely horrible. He admitted my wife into the hospital on Tuesday, was present for a test on Wednesday morning, and we never saw him again. She was released on Friday afternoon with the same pain she was admitted with and no real resolution. He couldn't even spare the time to come by for the discharge. My wife & I along with hospital staff tried to contact him more than a dozen times Wednesday & Thursday but calls were refused.
