Ms. Nelly Venturini

I was looking for a therapist to deal with depression and PTSD from a childhood tragedy. Upon the first meet, Ms. Venturini told me to buy her book about saving a marriage which had nothing to do with my situation. She is more religion based and her practice is more on faith than the science of psychology. I am over eight months pregnant (high-risk) and my sleeping has been difficult. Also due to the pandemic, I have lost my job. I wanted help so that I would not be depressed with my newborn. I ended up missing a telephone meeting, due to being asleep because my pregnancy kept me up all throughout the night, and she charged me fully for it. I texted her several times apologizing and asking her to please not charge me due to the job loss and difficult pregnancy. She did not respond for a week and then told me she would not change the charge and to schedule another appointment. Complete lack of empathy and not professional for selling me a book that I do not need. Look elsewhere.

No compassion and no help at all. Refused to treat my wife and I because we had to “work on ourselves” first. Huge cop-out for a marriage “counselor”. Her book is basic, elementary drivel - no true insights or original thoughts. When I reached back out for help with my daughter, she told me she was booked up and needed a referral from my insurance company! I feel that I’m better off finding another therapist and not wasting my money with Nelly. I suggest you do the same.
