I would not recommend Dr. Segal. He is not at all thorough. I went to him initially for foot and ankle pain. He recommended me to a study that he was doing for ankle pain. I qualified and went through with the procedure. It failed miserably leaving me in more pain and not being able to feel my heal, toes, or skin. The follow up from that procedure has been horrible. I waited 3 weeks in pain for my follow up appointment which was done over the phone with his assistant. I have waited over a week for a call back from his assistant in regards to my follow up questions. I would not trust him with my health again. In addition to how I have been treated, the day that I had the procedure done I was appalled at how he treated his assistant. Dr. Segal was very condescending and rude towards him. If you are looking for someone in this field I would keep looking!

I’ve already recommended him to friends and co-workers several times. He’s aware of, and performs, procedures that 3 other doctors knew nothing about. Less invasive procedures with quick return to functionality, plus he seems to be a genuinely nice guy who cares about outcomes. Don’t expect to leave on time, but if you’ve done your own research and understand the basics of your problem, he does an excellent job of answering your questions and coming up with solutions. I’d rather have a doc run late because he explains things than one who checks the boxes and runs. He’s very easy to talk with. My only beef is that the nurses want you ready and in position for a procedure when they know he’s not anywhere near ready. It would be a lot more comfortable to relax in a regular chair until he’s almost ready, but I’ll put up with that in order to have access to his knowledge and skills.

Horrible experience. Seeing him was a complete waste of time and money.

Waited 2 months+ to be seen. Upon arrival, waited an hour past my appointment time. Did not get seen by a nurse, Dr came himself-seemed like he had ZERO idea of what he was doing with a patient & had no idea why I was there (my doctors fault there, my records never forwarded). Spent 45 minutes repeating myself about why I was there. Bedside manner was stilted, awkward. Dr said would review my record & call me the next week...that was 6 weeks ago. Calling office to follow up gets me nowhere
