Dr. Romero and staff are awesome. They're a great team and they get the job done.

I highly recommend Dr. Romero. He and his staff are always helpful and available to answer any questions or concerns. They definitely deserve a5 star rating. I have recommended him to at least 3 other people. A huge thank you to all of them for their compassionate patient care

Had a visit with Dr. Romero to discuss an upcoming Surgery. I completed all of the necessary paperwork and asked a few questions. Dr. Romero and his staff always go above and beyond to make you comfortable. This is my second surgery with LOS and I could not be more pleased with the way I have been treated.

Dr Romero and his team were absolutely incredible. He was so thorough and explained everything and the reasoning behind it in way we were able to understand it. His bed side manners are extremely sweet, he is gracious and kind and took the time to answer every single question we had no question was to small. His team was truly the happiest team I have experienced in a long time in the medical industry. I would absolutely recommend Dr Romero he truly is such a blessing!

my whole experience with Dr Romero and staff has been nothing but excellent

Dr Romero and his entire staff are wonderful. They listened to my concerns and my surgery was a wonderful success

Extremely caring.

Good surgeon. Found everything went rather quick. Didn't get to say all I needed to. Was scheduled for my MRI's.

First and foremost Dr. Romero is great with his bedside manner. He was also timely and provided relevant information and treatment plan I could understand.

Spoke more with P/A Garrett than Dr Romero. Dr Romero came in room to introduce himself on first visit. The second visit he came in room, sat to explain what could be done. Suggested seeing Dr Baronne who possibly help me with epidural ejection. Have appt with Dr Baronne on June 24@ 1:30.

Dr. Romero is well known throughout Acadiana by the people in the know to be the best spinal surgeon around. His reputation has been proven true in my case. Having endured chronic pain for sometime, I went to see Dr. Romero who quickly diagnosed the problem. I had a serious issue in my lumbar spine that was the cause and would require surgery to resolve. Though the damage was extensive and the surgery was long and complicated, the results have been quite successful, exceeding my most optimistic expectations. Thank you, Dr. Romero, for what you’ve done for me. We usually have to go to the large cities to get the best doctors. Lafayette is Very Fortunate to have a spinal surgeon of your caliber practicing here. I was satisfied with the visit and the way I was treated by the staff that I saw. I was pleased.

I had my first appointment with severe spinal problems yesterday. I never saw doctor and felt I was being rushed to get out. I did see his assistant and he seemed knowledgeable and nice. He is suppose to be a good doctor but I never saw or talked to him. I could not recommend him

Awesome experience, really good and thorough doctor

I never imagined back surgery would be the path that would lead to my ultimate healing for the pain I was living with. I am just a few weeks post op at this writing but I am convinced with the results I am experiencing already. When you go from experiencing nerve pain and numbness from just walking and moving everyday pre-op to actually feeling better when you walk and move everyday post-op you know you made the right decision to go through with the surgery! Im so thankful to God that he made my decision clear to trust the process that ultimately led me to Dr Romero for surgery. Dr Romero and Garret Brooks NP were confident in my plan of care and have been patient and willing to answer any questions that I have had throughout my healing process! If you are suffering with pain as i was do not listen to back surgery stigmas that cause you to hesitate to place your care into their capable hands. May God continue to lead, guide, protect and direct Dr. Romero, Garret, and the entire LOS staff! From the bottom of my heart thank you to all who have been a part of this journey with me! Great staff. Doctor Romero is on point and he definitely gets the job done and will lead you to the right direction.

I’ve know him for 11 years. He is professional, kind and compassionate. He always has a smile.I really respect and trust my Dr. Romero.

Dr Romero is Very knowledgeable of what he does. Great bedside manner. Listens to everything you have to say and then responds. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr Romero specializes in spinal surgery and is one of the best Acadiana. He takes time with his patients to make certain that all questions are answered. He addresses patient’s concerns before and after surgery. If someone is looking for relief from a neck injury I would highly recommend Dr Romero and his excellent staff at LOS.

Dr. Robero and the staff of LOS are true professionals. The care and attention I received before, during and after my surgery have been phenomenal. Outstanding surgeon. Very fortunate to have him so close to home in Lafayette

I’ve never had a more impersonal experience at a doctor’s office. From the receptionist to the person who checked me out. The PA was nice and pretty helpful but that was it. They took x-rays, Dr.never mentioned them. He was in the room about 3 to 4 minutes.

I wish I could give 0 stars. First of all, he talked VERY loudly. I could hear him thru the doors/walls talking with other patients. He wasn't helpful with my condition at all. He pretty much said you're fat and diabetic. I won't do surgery because your diabetic, you could get an infection and die. He suggested I go to my pcp and have them put me on Xanax because in his "opinion" my whole problem was anxiety. I was given a sheet of paper with exercises and no other options for pain management. I wouldn't take my dog to this doctor, I suggest looking elsewhere. for the record, I know I need to lose weight but I went to a different doctor and they are working with me for a pain management plan until I can lose weight. Don't waste your time or money with this quack
