Excellent Doctor. Treated me at United hospital when I was brought there from MSP Airport in a emergency situation. Was able to reboard my trip 2 days later. Highly recommend him!!

Dr. Phelan is one of the best doctors I have seen. He is extremely competent, and communicates in language the patient can understand. In addition, he is thoughtful, kind, and treats you like he cares for your well being. I was very nervous about my procedure and he reassured me all through the process. I highly recommend him!

It's not very often that you come across a doctor who is kind, compassionate and actually listens! I feel very comfortable and cared for and have had all my questions and concerns answered and explained in terms that I can understand. I met Dr Phalen last summer while hospitalized for injuries and complications. I found him to be patient, compassionate and intelligent, with a truly outstanding bedside manner. Throughout multiple followups, Dr Phalen has taken the time necessary to understand my concerns, and has personally overseen all of my procedures. He takes my questions and opinions seriously and works with me to get the best possible results. I recommend him without reservation. I will start off with by saying I can?t stand going to any doctor's office. Previous experiences have led me to believe most doctors just don't care wanting in & out as fast as possible. An emergency room visit led me to Dr. Phelan. Plain and simple, he is different in that he actually takes the time to get to know your individual case. On a second ER visit, Dr. Phelan came to the hospital and see how I was. Dr. Phelan explains things in everyday terms and does what is needed.
