She has been there for me, cared for me, talked with my husband about my health issues & needs. I feel she knows me as a person as well as a patient.

Dr Mittal is wonderful. Always listens carefully, provides if appropriate several options including wait and see In this case she made sure we understood we needed to first find a pharmacy that had the prescribed medication which actually made the whole process faster

These are a relatively few descriptions of why I have had the good fortune for her to be my primary care provider for decades.Whenever an opportunity arises I recommend her and Swedish Hospital to anyone that needs medical services.

I believe that the communication between my primary care provider & myself has degraded over time & has become awkward, at best. We have almost no interpersonal relationship, which has is a problem as I believe that your physician should treat their patient's entire self & the relationship should be based on mutual trust & confidence. When a relationship breaks down like this, it's time to find a new physician who is more relatable. I'm also frustrated with not being able to get immediate care, such as when I contracted Covid. I was shoved to the side, had to speak with an unknown doctor & didn't receive the care for which I was entitled. Very disappointing. That Is not an Isolated incident. In contrast, I'm very happy with all of my other Swedish doctors & plan to continue my medical care with them.

Dr. Mittal is the best. I don't know what I would do without her. Health care has changed and I am so fortunate to have a very good doctor who truly cares about my health.

Dr. Mittal is a great doctor. She is both caring and honest about your health. I drive from far away to see Dr. Mittal.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mittal for 10+ years. She's done a fantastic job, easy to talk to and has caught issues early on. Highly recommend her.

Today during my second visit to this doctor I found that she was not being honest with me. Trust and honesty are essential to a good doctor. At no time did I say in our first visit that I would be looking for a doctor at my new place of residence. Rather we discussed her desire to see me every three months until she got to know me. She is only one more reason Swedish is getting more and more negative remarks. Dr. Mitral or one of her staff made an error on one of my prescriptions. Rather than fix the problem, she claimed the refill for one-half month was to give me time to get a new doctor. I had to drive to Issaquah and get a motel just to make the scheduled appointment this morning only to find erroneous statements coming from this doctor. Next time please just say I should look for another doctor. I did get a prescription for the full month and I will look for another doctor! This one cannot be trusted. I have been a patient of Dr. Mittel's for over 11 years following her from Mercer Island to the clinic on W. Lake Sammamish to Swedish in the highlands. Your experience with her office is unusual, I have also had and issue 1 time with a pharmacy reporting back to the Dr. Staff that a partial month medication vs. whole month was issued. Dr. Mittal is an excellent physician. She is extremely responsive, listens well, and also does a great job of explaining options and treatment alternatives. I enjoy my visits with her, and feel free to ask her any question without feeling like I’m wasting her time. She is the perfect family practice physician.

Dr. Mittal is an outstanding doctor. Having a spouse and family that are medical practitioners I tend to have high expectations. She listens to your input and explains her diagnosis. She is willing to pursue different modalities to find the right treatment. Even though we live 1 to 2 hours away I still have kept Dr. Mittal as my doctor. However, with centralized scheduling make sure you ask for a longer appointment if you need it.
