Dr. Neeraj Kumar Raghunath

I am literally writing this review at 10:48 PM from the hospital. My daughter had food stuck in her throat, which the ER tried to take care of hours. They called Dr. Raghunath ( who was on call). He got to the hospital extremely quickly in my opinion and dislodge the stuck food. We will be forever grateful for him.

This was the second doctor I’ve been to, and I’m quite exhausted. I have ulcerative colitis and have not seen the doctor since I left the hospital being assigned to him. The staff was extremely disorganized, extremely hard to get a hold of, and apparently, do not do appointments. I have not been able to even speak to my doctor for two years now, after overdosing me on 60 mg of prednisone. I have permanent stretch marks from the swelling and also had two seizures. Absolutely completely and utterly disappointed with this office I truly hope there is room for improvement eventually. I believed he was a good doctor at first when he was obligated to see me every day in the hospital. I’m hoping it is just the staff.. I called a week ago regarding a flare up, because I was unsure what to do, and I needed to set an appointment. The lady first hung up on me after putting me on hold, then when I called back and represented the problem she told me she didn’t do appointments and hung up. Less than a year ago they had a zoom call appointment set to speak with the doctor as a checkup and no phone call or zoom call was made, after calling the office they told me that they would call and to wait, 3 hours pass by and no call and still today they had not checked or even tried to set an appointment. Just continuing to order my Remnicade. However the new staff lady, once my dad finally got ahold of her finally scheduled my Remnicade perfectly for the next few months until I turn 18. The only good thing about this place was her. Please, don’t take you children here, or find some other way to get ahold of the doctor besides calling the office. Dr Raganuth was the only dr who was able to diagnose my daughter properly after many exhausting consultations by other GIs In joe DiMaggio hospital. He saw her and fixed her problem rapidly when no one else could. I am so grateful for him. Thank you!

Don't waste your time with this office, the appointments are constantly cancelled. Each time the excuse is the same, someone who made the appointment for you made a mistake. To add insult to injury my child was scheduled for a virtual appointment and the doctor never showed up no one called. Called the office only to get an answering service. How unprofessional. Lab results are not reviewed in advance of a follow up appointment or shared with the patients when requested.

I hope everyone can see this and avoid the headache. Staffs don't pick up phone calls or return messages. When they finally do after few days. They are rude and provide bad customer service. When they said they sent orders to the pharmacy; They don't. The doctor never on sight to talk with the parents. Worst medical office ever. Please, don't go to that office at all. I have been taking my twins since they got out of the NICU, and my girls were seeing physically twice by Dr Diaz which he is excellent, after many tries to have an appointment virtually or physically 8 out 10 times the staff said I didn't have an appointment and today I took my twins to their appointment drove from Miami, recovering from a surgery and having to wait a hour just to be told I don't have an appointment for today ????then I personally spoke to Dr Raghunath and asked him are you going to see my twins? and he said No. It is a shame that this office have excellent Dr's and a horrible staff.im sure many other parents will end up switching Dr's like me. If you need a very passionate of his work doctor, This is NOT the doctor that I would recommend you. I don't have records of my daughter's visits, no even a small note for the pediatrician. We were paying and he never gave us a diagnostic. I think he is so worried trying to cover his back that he is not filling correctly the records. Always they leaved us waiting almost 1 hour in the reception and one hour more in the room... and we wasted just to 5 maximum 10 minutes with the dr. that was unrespectful the time of every one is very valuable If you need a very passionate of his work doctor, This is NOT the doctor that I would recommend you. Dr. Raghunath is a great doctor (Let’s start with that, because his office staff isn’t my favorite, but the doctor is phenomenal) I have a premature child and I’m a first time mom, so I have a lot of questions and have endured many ups and downs concerning my child’s gastrointestinal health, but once Dr. Ragunath was brought onto her care team, he was willing to answer all our questions and help us navigate the post NICU roads. The most important thing is that he’s relatable and as a parent himself has paternal wisdom to compliment his medical knowledge. It helps to know that a pediatric doctor can relate to you as a parent and not just a patient. Dr is amazing. He listens and takes his time with your baby. The office staff is another story.

I took my son to Dr Raghunath because of constant stomach aches. First, let me say that I had to pay out of pocket because they did not accept our insurance. We went to the office 3 times and I paid quite a large sum. We were supposed to schedule an endoscopy but of course he wanted me to come in for yet another office visit in order to schedule the procedure, I presume he just wanted more money from me. He always maintained a condescending smile and almost ridiculing nature. Disappointing.

We had been waiting for 2 hours after our appointment time (and this is was with an 8 month old baby on my hands!). Our lab results were lost. The last name of my son was written with a mistake. Doctor even did not touch my son. He just looked at him and gave us a medical prescription. I paid $60 just to get an info I knew before.
