Dr. Neal Seltzer

I would recommend Dr. Seltzer and the staff over and over again. Dr seltzer is extremely friendly and has great doctor to patient manner, you can tell there are probably very few people that do not get along with him. He is knowledgeable and helpful, will always get you what you need no matter the circumstance. HE CARES! To me that's my biggest need, any doctor who cares about his patients and enjoys what he does and does it for the real reason is always an incredible doctor. He is all of this. He makes going to the dentist a breeze. I will go to him as long as he allows me! I go to Amie as a dental hygienist , she is great and does a wonderful job. My boyfriend sees Gina as the dental hygienist and raves about her as well! The staff that works in front are ALWAYS friendly and very helpful, you always walk into a smile, which is incredibly awesome to have. Best dentist on Long Island.

I have experienced anxiety at the dentist's office in my life, but Dr. Seltzer's office has overcome all of my expectations, and the experience was stress free and painless! The Solea laser they use requires no numbing or novacain!

i had two crowns done by Dr. Seltzer utilizing the Cerec system, 1 visit crown technology, and it was an unbelievably pleasant experience. The crowns fit perfectly and are polished so smooth and comfortable. It is awesome technology that allows the entire procedure to be done in one visit. Quite a step forward from traditional methods ~ highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr Seltzer for almost 30 years. Today I had an amazing procedure utilizing state of the art technology to make a permanent bridge by computer imaging. The procedure was painless and fast and the results were beautiful.

I avoided the dentist for years... one day I broke my tooth and needed an onlay. I was petrified about seeing a dentist. I called my parents and sister and asked who they used. They mentioned Dr Seltzer and they have used him for years. They saw me as soon as they could and made me an appointment to fix my tooth. I had the procedure done... they walked me through every step, and made me feel confident I wouldnt feel any pain. Within two hours my tooth was fixed and i felt no pain!

The hygienist, Christina, at long island smile gave me an incredible cleaning. I felt like her family member, she took her time and I feel like I have new teeth now. I am looking forward to my next cleaning with Christina. It was a deep cleaning and she really removed all the gunk I had in my teeth, I cant believe how good my teeth look now.

I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and prescribed a CPAP machine. CPAP therapy did not work for me due to recurring sinus infections. My doctor referred me to Long Island Smile. It took several months of adjustments but now I can't be without my appliance! I went from snoring like a bear and having numerous episodes of apnea each night to barely snoring or experiencing any apnea at all. Dr. Seltzer, Gina and staff would not quit until they found a solution to my problem. Now I sleep well!

I found Long Island Smiles because I was looking for an alternative to the standard needle anesthesia. Dr Seltzer uses the WAND, which is totally painless and wonderful. He also used the Solea Laser for fillings, and did my crown in one visit using the Cerec machine. These are technologies I've never heard of before, nor did I see them before in any dentist's office. The whole experience here is very pleasant and I very highly recommend this office and Dr.Seltzer to everybody.

Long Island Smile is a great dental practice. I've been seeing Dr. Seltzer for years, and he is thorough and explains things clearly. He is very accommodating and sensitive to his patient's needs (my husband and my friends use him too). The practice is efficient and I have never had to wait for more than a few minutes to be seen--thankfully, there is no blaring T.V. in the waiting room--just a thriving fish tank and magazines. To me, the critical factor in any dental practice is the hygienist. Today I had Kristina, who's been there less than a year, and she was AMAZING. Seriously, I don't think I've ever had a cleaning this good at any dentist--ever. She was so thorough and skilled. Great experience!!

this office is totally professional. I came with a lot of dental problems. Dr Seltzer and his staff were very caring and I had gum work that has made my mouth feel like new. I had a cool cerec crown done that was done in one visit. AWESOME EXPERIENCE.

My wife could not handle the snoring any more. I bought tongue retainers, zeepa, and every thing you can find ont he internet. Finally Longisland smile was the trick.

This was my first experience using a laser for a cavity filling. It was extremely quick, painless, and involved no drilling or numbing. Very glad that SOLEA provides this great experience. Dr. Seltzer did a great job using this novel tool! -Kiara P.

Had a small cavity that was filled by Dr Seltzer in 10 minutes. It was pain free & required no anesthesia which I appreciated considering I am breast feeding. I left his office feeling 100%, able to eat and drink and resume normal activity immediately. It is always an enjoyable experience coming to see Dr Seltzer, even when filling a cavity is involved!

This is the first time I experienced the Solea Laser. I have chemical allergies and usually have reactions. Instead of having novacaine Dr Seltzer recommended this new way to have a filling. I've been coming to Dr Seltzer for over 25 yrs and just had another implant and a cavity completed. Once again all went smoothly and i couldn't be more satisfied. the office staff is great also!

Had an implant crown and a filling done today......used to be petrified of the dentist but today's experience was a piece of cake....no pain !!!!( Dr Seltzer used a new technique of numbing!!!) TOTALLY PAINLESS !!!

I came in to LI Smile following two failed CPAP treatment attempts. I just could not bear using that bulky mask every night, it was uncomfortable, would constantly leak and I would take it off almost every night. LI Smile has changed all of that for me. They fitted me with a dental device that is made specifically for sleep apnea patients. After using it for a few days, I began to feel like myself again. More rested, more happy and just generally in a better mood all around. Love them!

I had a serious dental emergency a year ago. I needed a dentist. A friend recommended me to Dr. Seltzer. Dr. Seltzer was like a knight in shining armor, He was able to avoid as many as 6 implants that would have cost me a bundle and rectified a very dangerous condition at a very fair and reasonable expense.

Broken tooth and Dr Seltzer took care of it! CAD Cam Cerec Inc technologoy enabled production of the crown right on site after a root canal and posts painlessly installed/done by Dr Seltzer. Recommend Dr Seltzer without reservation!

Best thing that happen to me when my doctor recommended me to see Dr.Seltzer. He was able to cure me of my terrible snoring which made my family happy expscially my wife all in the household can sleep without the noice of my snoring. Dr. Seltzer is very personable and knowledgeable. I got a cavity filled using the Solea Laser. He explained every step prior to beginning, and as he was filling the cavity. The Solea Laser did not require any novocaine, and was quick and painless. I highly recommend Dr. Seltzer.

Go here! He keeps you comfortable with his conversation, it is never frightening (well not so much anyway, it is a dentist), he does the right thing everytime. He is up on what is new. Best of all, he fixed my teeth, and I wasnt screaming the whole time!

Had an absolute amazing experience at Long Island Sleep Medicine ! I came in for a sleep apnea device and by accident came in on the wrong day but they were beyond accommodating and stopped what they were doing to fit me in.
