Dr. Neal L. Rockowitz

Dr Rockowitz replaced my left knee over 10 years ago and was a great success !!! He had everything so planned out with physical therapy andwhat he expected me to do.I wish he replaced my hip 2 years ago that was displaced 5 times from a non caring surgeon.

If you’re seeing this guy for workers comp, you will be disappointed. He’s working for the insurance company 100%. Year later, I’m finally done with court and worker’s comp. I’m finally seeing a real doctor and getting real results, not this abhorrent excuse of whatever Neal Rockowitz is.

I had 2 knee replacements and one has always hurt like the muscles or ligament aren't right. I' told him over and over.He didnt seem to care to much. Because Xrays looked good but why he never sent me for a ultra sound or MRI is weird. No wonder he left his practice to only do workmans comp.cases.

Truly professional and kind i can't imagine better fortune than having this man and his staff looking after me. my new hip is wonderful and after 15 months i can barely see the scare. Amazing plastic surgery couldn't have given me a better result. Thankyou all.

I had a complete knee replacement several years ago by Dr Rockowitz. He was my second opinion and I am so glad that I went to him for that. He explained the situation I was facing and how he would accomplish it, how long my stay would be, and explained what I needed to do to accomplish full recovery. I can barely see a scar from my surgery, I have to look for it. I cannot say enough for this doctor I recommend him to all that ask for a recommendation in this field. Dr Roc is fantastic, you found him now use him, you won't be sorry. He's fantastic, his staff is also fantastic also. He knows what he's doing, & is extremely good at it.

Horrible doctor who could care less about the outcome and even less about you.

Dr Rockowitz performed a double hip replacement on me, and he did a wonderful job.

No bedside manner. When my husband asked a few questions before going in for knee replacement surgery, Dr. R told him to hurry up as he had tickets to a Coyotes game that evening. He may be a great surgeon, but I would never want to work with someone who speaks to patients that way.

I went to see Dr Rockowitz with complaint of mid-thigh pain for several months. He had little time to listen to me, xrayed my hip and said I would need a hip replacement someday. I asked him about the mid thigh pain and he said it was referred pain from hip. I went to a doctor in Scottsdale for another opinion, and this doctor xrayed my whole leg - found I had an atypical femur fracture at 15-20% curve, ready to fracture completely. Dr Rockowitz is very impressed with himself.

This was one of the most unprofessional Dr.s I have ever been to. I would never want this guy to see me to be helpful. He walked in with a smug look on his face and then began to check out my husbands shoulder. He contradicted the answers that my husband gave to his questions regarding his pain. Unprofessional, however, obviously some people can be bought to lie.

I had bilateral knee replacements and was very pleased with the outcome. He explained everything to me and I understood all that was going to be done. This was 8 yrs. ago and I have no problems whatsoever. I believe he cares about his patients and is great at what he does.

Visited for an industrial injury and it was obvious the minute I showed up he was not interested in what I was experiencing simply going through the motions and his mind appeared already made up. Not sure what his motivation is but didn't seem to be for me and listening to me. Humiliating honestly.

I would like to thank Dr. Rockowitz and his staff. Everyone is friendly, thoughtful and professional. I am very thankful for Dr. Rockowitz's knowledge and expertise in the field of joint replacement, my knees have never felt better. I appreciate that he patiently took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly.

My wife had double knee replacement -- knees were bone-on-bone. Dr.'s surgical room has a curtain of sterile air constantly flowing around patient, reducing chance of infection. Post-op her legs were on motion machine in hospital bed, she was gotten out of bed within a few hours after surgical recovery. She had also been a bit bow-legged, and surgical knee replacement included straightening her legs. All hospital staff informally had high esteem for Dr. Rockowitz.

Dr. Rockowitz is extremely rude, arrogant, and horrible with patient follow up. He does not take the time to conduct a thorough examination or listen to patient concerns. I truly get the sense that this Dr. does not care about my well-being whatsoever.
