On December 28 2010 I went in for emergency surgery on my spine Dr moufarreij worked a miracle on my spine I had a 4level fusion the road to recovery was hard and painful I'm not going to lie but because of this man I am walking today I owe him my life I will not go see anybody else he told me that I would most likely have to have my upper back done as well in about ten years well it's been 12 1/2 and I think I need to make an appointment my neck and back are getting worse and I'm just thankful that he is still around see you soon doc

I lived with trigeminal neuralgia for 15 years.Without Dr.Moufarrij i surely wouldn't be alive today.Exploratory surgery had to be done to find the problem.I had several DR over those years who didn't believe i was actually even sick.If he hadn't believed me suicide or stroke would have been my end a long time ago.I can't recomend him enough!!!!

I was initially referred to KC for a deep brain stimulator to control my essential tremor. When I was informed that Dr. Moufarrij performed this surgery locally, I scheduled a consult. I was immediately at ease with him beginning with his nurse and continuing on through my consult with him. He explained in detail every step of the procedure, every side effect I could expect to have and what exactly recovery would look like. DBS is no simple surgery and he performed it with ease and confidence. I would recommend Dr. Moufarrij to anyone who wants a genuine, compassionate and dedicated provider.

My wife had slipped disk procedures done and I had carpal tunnel in both hands along with a fractured L5 vertebra. All of the procedures that was performed on both of us were exceptional, well explained, bedside manner, results and follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Moufarrij and his staff. Amazing!

In 2016 I was taken to the hospital for what was believed to be a stroke. They did an MRI on my head and neck and Dr. Moufarrij found that I had a herniated disk in my neck that had blown inward and was pushing halfway through my spinal cord. He performed emergency surgery and did a disc fusion. When I recovered I had regained all the feeling back on my right side and after a few months of wearing a neck brace I was good as new. In October 2020 I began to experience paralysis in the lower half of my body. An MRI revealed a large tumor attached to my spine that was strangling my spinal cord. Dr Moufarrij performed emergency surgery to relieve the pressure on my spinal cord and save my legs. 24 hours after the surgery I experienced noticeable improvement. One year later I have completely recovered except for some lingering body fatigue due to cancer treatments. Without the brilliant skill of Dr Moufarrij I would be in much worse condition. My Dr is the best ever I would recommend to anyone in my family members or friends he is on top of something that is wrong gets you in right away thank you Dr Moufarrij

I am so very thankful for Dr. Moufarrij, his surgical abilities and his genuine care and concern for his patients.

Heartless bad bedside manners and found out Dr Moufarrij done an unnecessary surgery on my C6-C7 and took out a small titanium plate and screws through my throat on the left side and took a graft of bone from my right hip and put between C6-C7 and messed up my hip and cut my spinal cord and made me hemorrhage and I died in surgery and he brought me back and when I woke up I was paralyzed on my left side my leg came back but still paralyzed on half of my left side of body and arm and now I find out from another back surgeon my spinal cord can not be fixed and am going to have to have a rehab wheelchair for life that I won't even be able to go back to work even part time

My surgery was in 2001. I trust Dr. Moufarrij with my life. I would not go to anyone else. He did my back, surgery on my husband's back and neck and my mother's back. We are all doing great.

This so called Dr is horrible. He intends to use sarcasm as his bedside manner. Now mind you I am writing this on July 2020 so this is during the pandemic. Dr protocol is to wear and keep mask on while meeting with a patient. This was my first consult with him since my back injury. I paid $100 in order to meet him and to talk about how we could find a solution for my back pain and hoping for a plan of action so I could get back to my normal life. So I attempted to tell him what was going on. His phone phone rings as I am speaking. He answers and leaves as I am speaking. He then comes back and asks me why I am there. I respond with I am here to talk and meet you as my Dr. He removes his mask and introduces himself sarcastically and says are we done here. I was shocked at how this "medical professional" could be so demeaning and condescending. I would never trust him with any further treatment.

He performed a lower lumbar surgery on my husband and he’s worse now than when we went in. He seemed nice enough in the appointment. I asked what the percentage was for the overall outcome, we were told “100”. My husband cannot even walk now and has developed a massive Pulmonary Embolism in his right main artery, which could kill him. We’re now facing 6-8 months for the clot to dissolve then a 2nd back surgery to fix what this Doctor either botched or didn’t do. Do your homework first!

Operated on my brother’s neck and he woke up screaming in pain from the surgery. From the surgery he experienced hearing loss warranting a hearing aid and ended up in more pain than before. He required corrective surgery at another facility which seems to be a vast improvement over the prior results. I would not recommend this facility based on my brother’s experience. I have been a Doctor of Chiropractic for 25 years... 6 yrs ago I ruptured a disc blocking 90% of my spinal cord off and 100% of the neural foramina on left so I couldn’t walk.. was wheeled in by my mom and sister in a wheel chair.. he had me spend the night and the next day on Friday operated on me at 8:30 pm on a Friday night! Was in so much pain before surgery that they were giving me max doses of fentanol and it didn’t work... Ask soon as he operated and I woke up I’ve had no pain since! Dr. Moufarrij did nothing short of give me my life back! Dr. Moufarrij took the time to explain the procedure in detail ensuring I understood what was going to happen. Six days post surgery for a laminectomy and foraminotomy I was able to return to work. Surgery was a complete success, I had immediate relief of pain I have lived with for years. THANK YOU DR. MOUFARRIJ!!

Dr. Moufarriji not only did one but three major back surgeries on me at once. After 56 years of extreme pain I can sleep at night and walk with out my lower back killing me. His staff is world class as well. I wouldn't recommend him if he wasn't world class! He preforms surgery at St.Francis and Wesley. Pick Wesley. St.Francis hospital care is horrible or has for me the last four times I've been there. He and all of his staff are stellar and perfect!! He follow ups on you and cares.

Dr Moufarrij went over and beyond to do my surgery. He did a laminectomy T4-T6 and my pain is gone my feeling in my hands are back. Hands down literally I would recommend him and his team to anyone that he could help! All I can say is Thank you for giving my life back!!!!!

Dr Moufarrij did an ACDF on my cervical spine. I am very appreciative. And I am very pleased with his care. I would recommend him by all means. He is a great surgeon.

An amazing doctor.

Had a right temporal lobectomy at 12. Great bedside manor, I now hold a full time job and am a completely functional human being dispite weekly seizures from age 5-12 (post surgery). Great guy and excellent surgeon.
