Dr. Sub has helped me tremendously. My back had gotten so bad that I could barely walk. I received a microdiscectomy and it was a night and day difference with no pain in my back or leg. Highly recommend the doctor and their friendly staff at the Heights office location.

I recently had back surgery with Dr Subramanian. I had immediate relief and zero through my back and legs. I would definitely recommend Dr Subramanian for anyone needing back surgery.

I’m 8 days post surgery. Dr. Subramanian performed a microdisectomy on me. I had a 6mm herniated disc at my L5 S1, my mobility had become compromised and my pain level pre- op was a 10. I woke up from surgery and it was the first time in over 6 months that I did not have the horrible burning pain from my buttock to my ankle. I feel great! Pain from surgery much to my surprise was minimal! I am so thankful for Dr. Subramanian and his team! He has excellent bedside manners, answers each question honestly, he is straight forward and easy to talk to. His office staff and medical assistant are a great team! I have already referred a friend to see him and she was equally pleased.

Words cannot describe how good I feel since having a lumbar revision surgery with Dr. Subramanian. When I came to see him my low back was in such pain and I felt defeated. Dr. Subramanian has excellent bedside manner and even more excellent surgical skill. I highly recommend this facility. You will not be disappointed. I want to share with anyone who needs back surgery that Dr. Subramanian is the best. I was in very bad shape in my lower back. I couldn't do anything! The pain was horrible. I had to give up riding horses and that was a big thing for me. The only life I had was laying down or sitting on the recliner. It even hurt when I rode in a car. The pain was excruciating. I felt like I went through this whole surgery alone.Whenever I called or went in to see him the Dr. barely acknowledged me and made me feel like I was annoying him for bring there. He did a laminectomey on my spine 07/24/20 and I still cannot walk without severe pain in both hips.and back. He told me I would be able to use the bathroom same night on my own. Never happened.I was never informed that I would need nursing help in my home as I could not move on my own, nor get up on my own for over 2 weeks. He should have prepared me for what was to com. I was blindsided My sister thank God came and slept in the bed next to me as I needed constant help. Could not get up to fix anything to eat for myself nor bathe. This was the most debilitating surgery I have ever had. Also receptionist Crystal needs training course on how to behave with elderly patients. She talks down to people and tries to belittle them. We've heard on numerous occasions badgering them about paper work. Not necessary. Giselle and PA Haily were a breath of fresh air and a pleasure seeing them .. They were always smiling and always trying to help you. Those two were the only redeeming forces for this office. I don't know how this Dr. and his team could ever receive 5 stars. Today I'm posting to let you know if you have C-spin problems or back problems in general there is Hope. Back in 2015 I had a fusion of three disk in my C-spin ( neck ) and two years later was having the same similar pain . I was told I had another slipped disk above the fusion but they could do nothing about it . I kept praying and taking pain pills ( so tired of taking pain killers ) This year 2020 though everything else in this world seemed doomed I had a recommendation to Dr. Navin Subramanian to see about my neck and right arm pain . We had MRI"s done and Dr. Subramanian said he felt he could fix the problem.. I am here today to say I have no nerve pain at all and my right and left arm's I now have full use. When I first arrived I was experiencing pain I had never felt before. I could barely stand up straight for minutes at a time. I was experiencing a herniated disk with a pinched nerve radiating down both legs. It was a nightmare of pain and nothing done in normal everyday activity was without a sever amount of pain. I seen Dr Navin and set up a Microdisectomy surgery. The surgery was pain less and quick. The first week after surgery was a nightmare of pain. After the second the pain began to fade. By the fourth week after surgery nearly 95% of all pain prior to surgery was gone. By the six week mark after surgery I was completely healed minus some minor soreness and muscle weakness. Y’all. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Subramanian. I had a car accident 2.5 years ago and have been in pain ever since. I usually stay as far away from doctors as possible but the pain got so bad, I had to do something. Dr. Subramanian and his staff made me feel so good to be there and gave me hope for a pain free future. I opted to go the surgical route and let me just say, that was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It’s 2 weeks post op and I haven’t felt this normal since before the car accident. I had been in constant hip pain for 2 years after I fell. I was sent to pain management when the physical therapist realized it was inflammation in my SI Joint and the pain wouldn't subside. I was feeling hopeless and afraid that I would never get back to normal when my pain management doctor referred me to Dr. Submaranian for a possible SI Joint fusion. Dr. Subamaranian and his team worked endlessly to get the surgery approved and on December 30, 2019, I underwent an SI Joint fusion to my left hip. The surgery was successful and I am now able to do all of the things I loved to do prior to the fall. The best part is that I was off all of the pain medication and muscle relaxers six months after surgery. I was told I needed a disc fusion from 2 other doctors, but Dr. Sub. told me I was a perfect candidate for a disc replacement. Hands down Dr. Sub is the best Surgeon in the U.S! He made me feel like family and made me a top priority. I had seen multiple doctors for two months prior to seeing Dr. Sub. The other doctors just prescribed pain medication. None of the medication touched the pain. Dr. Sub recommended surgery on the first visit which he said was not the norm, but my MRI results were that bad. I was in surgery in less than a week. I woke up from surgery pain FREE! Update on my surgery over a year ago. Now considered a failed back surgery. Pain worse than before surgery. Activities worse than before surgery. His comment on the failed surgery was "to get a rolling walker with a seat", so he was not at all concerned that all the pain and agony I went through with his surgery failed to help any of my problems and in fact made them worse! He does not only not care about his skill (or lack of it) of fixing spinal surgery problems, but he does not care about his patients well-being or future either. He gave me constant pain and limited mobility. I did not have that before Dr. Sub 'worked' on me. Now I have a lifetime of trying to walk, take a shower without help and being homebound. Thanks, I have nothing to look forward to but more pain. I wish I would never have gone in his door.

I saw him for work compensation injury, he didn't let me talk about my pain complaint, he spent his time with me, just like 5 minutes to tell me that I don't have nothing, and my painful is because of my age. Went to him originally for a second opinion when a 3rd back surgery was recommended. He listened to what we said, did a thorough examination, including his own X-rays. Made his recommendations and explained how he would do the procedure. He was very upfront with what to expect and a matter of fact. Recovered faster with much better success after this procedure than the 2 prior procedures by a different surgeon. He has 4 locations in the Houston area and the office staff was friendly.
