Dr. Hukmani and his staff are top notch in the medical field. At 57, I have never had a Doctor who treats every single patient like they are the only patient he has. He and his staff are so professional, patient and kind. I was always happy to come in for my visits!! In my 50s, I decided to work the smile that I had always dreamed of. I am so thankful that Dr. Hukmani was the one that helped me make my dream come true. Not only do I now have the smile I always wanted, but I sleep so much better too. I highly recommend Dr. Hukmani!! He is one of a kind and I not only met a new Doctor with him, but I met a friend for life. He and his staff members are the perfect combination! Dr. Hukmani and their team have been very professional and thorough regarding my son’s orthodontia treatment. Prior to braces, Dr. Hukmani recommended an ortho expander appliance for my son. The expander has helped open his sinuses and improved his breathing. My son would often wake up during the night from challenges breathing through his nose, resulting in low energy and bags under his eyes. My son now says he can breathe better, sleeps through the night, and there is a noticeable improvement in his energy level. We look forward to the orthodontia process and end result. Dr. Hukmani is the best!

Dr. Hukmoni came highly recommended when our daughter needed braces. He took time to explain to me, the parent, each step. When I needed braces, I naturally went back to Dr. Hukmoni. As a patient, it was frustrating at first because the communication wasn't there. Over time, he worked on answering my questions and telling me what was happening. I was able to relax (and brace myself) during procedures. A side note: I have extremely small lip area which is dry. After splitting the corners of my mouth every time (once bled significantly) he made a point to get Vaseline to stop that happening. A blessing to go home without my mouth damaged! Dr. Hukmani and his staff are wonderful. My evaluation and establishment of a treatment plan were so comprehensive and based on a holistic approach. Dr. Hukamani has been such a help with my TMJ jaw locking and headaches. A lot of dentists that I’ve had for cleanings have complimented his dental work of placing braces on my teeth! He and his staff are the sweetest!

Dr. Hukmani is a mouth engineer. He takes an analytical approach to solving your mouth's problems, and walks you through every step of how he will fix it. I had (bad) orthodontics as a child which was causing extreme gum recession at an age of only 31. I consulted a couple other orthodontists who suggested shaving my teeth to slim them down or removing them altogether. In contrast, Dr. Hukmani suggested an ALF appliance which would expand my teeth gradually. He also noted that this would help me improve my sleep since he noticed that my eyes showed signs of fatigue. I received a full 2-year plan for the ALF and braces, and it was executed immaculately. Dr. Hukmani spends time with every patient on each visit regardless of how busy they are. Even with COVID-19, Dr. Hukmani leveraged his chemical engineering and biochemistry backgrounds to keep his environment as sterile as possible. Staff are always protected, patients wash their hands before and after all exams, and even his floors have special anti-bacterial properties to stay clean! Lastly, his staff are fantastic! The front office is always patient, proactively communicates, and reliable (all my indirect requests to Dr. Hukmani were answered promptly). The assistants are also friendly and work together as a team to keep things running quickly and smoothly. One minor issue with scheduling is that they don't have early morning appointments (Dr. Hukmani lives in Maryland, so the office opens at 9:30am). Dr. Hukmani is awesome!! He helped my child, who had VERY challenging dental issues, he has provided her the opportunity to show her beautiful smile AND it was cost effective! I highly recommend his office and his staff has ALWAYS shown care and a very professionalism demeanor. They are not notch!

I have had my share of unprofessional orthodontists BUT dr.hukmani is extremely RUDE!! I had a few concerns that I needed addressed and he was totally resistant about me asking him questions even though I am PAYING for a service. Unprofessional, condescending tone and demeanor! Every time I have a visit he asks about my husband. I guess I had to be a MAN to get RESPECT! Totally unacceptable. He raised his voice and seemed highly agitated. Emotionally unstable. The entire office got quiet.One of his assistants even apologized for his behavior!I have never been spoken to in such an unprofessional manner in my entire life. Dr. Hukmani is truly very caring and made my time in his office enjoyable. His staff was understanding, informative and were always so sweet!

I started coming here in 4th grade and my teeth were really crooked. They started me off with a spacer and then I got braces before I went to 7th grade. I only had them for about a year and my teeth were perfect! The staff is also very nice and I love it here. I would definitely recommended it!

I’ve been going to this orthodontist since I was in 5th grade, I’m now in 10th grade. Dr. Hukmani is fantastic, always very kind and answers all of my questions. The dental assistants were amazing and they were always very careful not to hurt me. 10/10 orthodontist experience. ✨

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Hukmani and would give him more than 5 stars if that were possible. Dr. Hukmani is treating me and both of my children (ages 12 and 11), and while I've had quite the complicated oral situation I specifically want to highlight the positive impact we've experienced so far in my younger child. All his life my son has struggled with allergies/asthma - they were so bad I took him to see two different allergists at age 3, both of whom said he was their youngest patient and also most allergic at such a young age that they have ever tested. In the last year or two his allergies seem to have particularly gotten worse again. Dr. Hukmani regularly checked him over the last couple of years and tabled the need for any treatment for him. A couple of months ago Dr. Hukmani said it was finally time for him to get an expander. He noticed dark circles under my son's eyes and asked about his breathing and my son said he's been struggling for a while with his allergies and constantly stuffy nose. Dr Hukmani said the expander would help him with his breathing (since the roof of his mouth is the base of his nose). My son has had the expander for 2 weeks and we went in for his checkup today - the results in only 2 weeks have been nothing short of amazing! Sure enough, my son's breathing has significantly improved! He's sleeping better, his nose isn't stuffy anymore, and his dark circles are completely gone. Dr Hukmani told us today that he expected my son's allergy/asthma symptoms to improve as well now that my son could take in more natural air through his nose. He took the time to explain that natural air (which has a certain percentage of nitrogen and oxygen) mixes in your body to create nitric oxide which (long story short) improves your immune and lung function). Mind blown! My son's allergist, dentist, chiropractor, nor pediatrician has ever mentioned the relationship between his bodily health and his oral health EVER. My son is literally giddy that he can now breathe more freely and as a mom that makes my heart so happy :) PS: Being nearly done with my complicated oral situation, I can also speak to the care, attention to detail, and high quality work Dr Hukmani provides throughout the orthodontic treatment. I am an adult patient who has suffered with TMJ dysfunction, on and off for years. This year I came to see Dr Hukmani because I was desperate for relief. After receiving a new appliance from my dentist last year, I had multiple TMJ issues that intensified. I tried dry needle therapy/ physical therapy and although it helped at the time it was for short durations of time. This was unacceptable. Enough already!! I was tired of ear/sinus issues, headaches and being irritable, so I made an appointment to see how he could help me. I picked up my second pair of retainers today (I wanted another pair just in case I lost one) and when I leaving I was genuinely sad. I didn't want to say bye. I didn't just find an Orthodontist, but I really met just downright cool bunch of folks. Don't think that being cool takes away from their professionalism and knowledge...it just added bonus. Dr. Hukmani, his staff like Mary Ann, Anne Marie, Joy, Sandra and so many others made my journey of getting braces peaceful. Yes I said peaceful. I had a few issues with my teeth and my bite caused due to grinding and eating high citrus foods. A problem many face that is caused even with eating healthy. I needed braces due to the damage caused to my bite with the wear and tear over several years. It was a challenge for any orthodontist as I was not willing to have any teeth removed. All 32 had to stay. I consulted many orthodontists and every one of them wanted to remove my wisdom teeth. I wasn't willing to have my wisdom teeth removed - they had to stay. Upon meeting Navin Hukmani - the first thing that struck me about him - was that he was ready to take on the challenge without removing my wisdom teeth. I told him I want my teeth to look a 100%. He smiled - and said, "Absolutely- I don't see why you should settle for less. And while we are at it - let's make you look younger". After my first appointment with him - I decided I was going to have him take care of my son's Orthodontics too for the fact that my son too wanted a 100%. I was 23 when I first put on my braces. I was not exactly excited at the prospect of spending any part of my early 20's with some chunky, unattractive, painful metal in my mouth. 5 months removed from finishing my treatment and there isn't a moment of any day that I am not thankful of going through that decision. A large part of that is thanks to Dr. Hukmani and his great team. They treat your teeth as if they were your own. It's truly difficult to put into words how great Dr. Hukmani and his team are. I went to their office as a young adult hoping to get Invisalign and a few teeth straightened, but their holistic approach to orthodontics has made an incredible impact on me. Upon going in, Dr. Hukmani's team immediately took full x-rays and crafted a plan to not only address my slightly crooked teeth, but also addressed other issues that I didn't realize stemmed from my mouth/jaw/bite. I was able to start my treatment the next week and within just a few short weeks of beginning treatment, not only was my physical appearance improving, but I was breathing better, had fewer dark circles under my eyes, and *my sleep has improved so much* I wake up feeling rested, and I didn't know that was possible! I highly recommend Lansdowne Orthodontics. I have just started my braces treatment and Dr. Hukmani, and his team have made of it a really good experience. They have an excellent staff that makes me feel welcomed every visit. Before starting I was really scared of getting braces because I always heard people complaining and saying what an awful experience they had. However, in my experience, thanks to Dr. Hukmani, since the beginning of my treatment he has done a wonderful and delicate job and I have not felt any discomfort. So far I have seen a lot of improvement in the way I sleep and breath, and everything it’s thanks to my doctor. I was a very complex, complicated, long case. Dr. Hukmani handled my teeth with such expertise, care, and love. I am in love with my smile now! I had impacted canine teeth which in return I had to have surgery and gold chains attached to them. Every 6 weeks Dr. Hukmani pulled them down into place, it was painful but very much worth the end goal. It has been nothing but compliments since I got my braces off, even after all these years! I went back today just to check on my permanent retainer as I had snapped it while flossing. Everything was still perfect and I didn’t need anything done after all! Navin Hukmani and their staff are extremely caring and make my kids feel comfortable. Dr. Hulmani speaks to the parents after each visit and ensures that he answers every question.

Dr Hukmani is wonderful, caring and patient. Miss Maryann talks our son through the entire process and really helps to ease his fears. We are so fortunate to have found such a good practice that cares about the entire well being of a child.

My daughter just finished her 3 year procedure and oh boy! Cannot be more thankful to Dr Hukumani and his staff. They made this otherwise painful process so smooth. Dr. Hukmani is warm and friendly and my kids really responded to him. His whole staff has been fabulous to work with and they’re definitely a well-oiled machine. My daughter needs expanders and so far the process has been easy and I’ve felt prepared for each step thanks to their attention to detail.

My teeth have always been a work of art. Before visiting Dr. Hukmani et al., these teeth were a Picasso -- in jumbled disarray. HOWEVER, this 5-star orthodontics office was able to align and sculpt my teeth beautifully. I had the Propel procedure carried out (where holes were drilled in my gums), which sped up the process with surprisingly minimal pain! (Totally worth it.) My experience has been seamless, and I always enjoyed seeing the office. My only regret is their inability to fix my face itself; still a Picasso. My teeth have always been a work of art. Dr. Hukmani has made the whole process very easy and explains everything that’s is going on. His estimated date for the removal of my braces was spot on, I’ve heard a lot of kids keep getting their date pushed back further and further, not with Dr. Hukmani. I recommend him to anyone looking to get braces!

3 of my kids came to Dr. HUKMANI for braces over several years. We had the loveliest experience. Everything/everyone was kind, honest, efficient, and organized. The Dr. and his staff were wonderful, esp the front desk! We were sad on the last day for sure! Definitely recommend to everyone.☺☺☺

Both of my daughters ages 15 and 14 had a receding lower jaw in addition to needing braces. My 15 year old had gone to a previous orthodontist in Cape Cod Massachusetts that did not feel she needed treatment to correct her lower jaw. Braces were put on and after we moved to Virginia we needed to find an orthodontist. When we visited Dr. Hukmani we realized our oldest daughter was fitted incorrectly for her braces and she needed the Herbst appliance to correct the lower jaw and an expander. The braces were removed by Dr. Hukmani and he began to repair her mouth. It has been almost 2 years and I am so happy we found this office. My 14 year old daughter has just started her treatment. Dr. Hukmani and his staff were top notch!!! From start to finish each detail of the plan was thoroughly outlined and executed. The office was cheerful and whimsical and more importantly well maintained. All of our concerns were always addressed in a timely manner. Unscheduled and multiple emergency visits were never a problem and the whole process was streamlined and pleasant. Loved working with Sandra and the front office. Never seemed like they had a bad day and each person’s concerns were made to feel important. Dr. H you run a class act, customer friendly, teen sensitive business. I was referred here by my dentist and I am very, very thankful. My husband and I are adults who decided to get invisalign. Dr Hukmani did a free consultation and explained to us why we needed braces. I have an open bite a remainder of sucking my thumb as a child. My husband had a narrow mouth and it caused his jaw to lock and him to bite his tongue. With smooth, professional service we are almost done our journey. Our mouths are fixed, I can use my incisors again, my husband no longer bites his tongue or snores like he used to and it was all done smoothly and swiftly in an office designed with interest and a staff that appear to enjoy their jobs and respect their clients. Everyone I know who needs orthodontics will be recommended here. I have watched them care for children of all ages and adults with all problems. I got referred to Dr. Hukmani by one of his former employees, she assured me that he was the best Orthodontist in the area and she wasn’t wrong. I have been struggling with jaw pain and migraines for over 7 years. Dr. Hukmani worked his magic and was able to give me comfort by massaging my jaw, I instantly felt better. He did explain this was temporary relief and I would have to start treatment to fix my problem. I’m looking forward to beginning my treatment with Dr. Hukmani and his team. Also Annmarie was very helpful and pleasant during the process, she was able to accommodate to by busy schedule and get men in as soon as possible. Along with being professional and efficient, Dr. Hukmani and his entire staff are so warm and friendly. Dr. Hukmani’s reputation for being a perfectionist is most warranted, thankfully, and the staff follows suit. I’m grateful to all of them for creating beautiful smiles for my two children as well as myself!

Dr. Hukmani and his staff are all so amazing. They take great care of me and if my son ever needs braces he will be coming here too. I couldn't be happier with the results so far and I can't say enough about the whole team of professionals. I would rate them 10 stars if I could!

Dr. Hukmani came up with a thorough plan that took a bit longer, but was comprehensive. He explained his strategy and has communicated all steps thoroughly. We're on our second round of braces with Dr. Hukmani and can't imagine going anywhere else. The staff researches your insurance benefits so that you leave the office with answers rather than questions. When it comes to billing, they're top notch and get it right the first time. There's low staff turnover, so that speaks well of the office environment. Dr. Hukmani and his staff are so gracious and friendly - an office visit will brighten your day. Excellent and awesome. Very well organized orthodontist, he takes you through all the steps and keeps you informed throughout the treatment. Assessment and treatment are spot on, wide variation of payment options. Staff is friendly and helpful. Appointments etc. are easy to schedule and even rescheduling is easy if you need to.
