I pulled my back out in a horrific way whereby I was immobile. Dr. lowen was excellent at helping my situation without being too aggressive or too conservative. He was perfect came up with a plan, his entire office of staff were so comforting and professional

Dr. Lowen is excellent! He is prompt, knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. The office staff is primarily also great with some exceptions. Unfortunately I made the mistake of paying for treatment up front and was told I would be refunded once the claim was approved. The claim was approved but then they told me they wouldn't refund until the claim was paid. Then I had to wait an additional 2 months after the claim was paid (not approved) and had to follow-up to demand my refund. Caveat emptor!! Dr. Lowen is excellent! Amazing clinic !!! The personal is AAA class, efficient and caring. Doctor Lowen is dedicated, brilliant and wonderful. Highly recommended !!!

Thorough, takes time to discuss and explain options, caring

WOW, I should have listened to the reviews I read about Dr. Lowen. My bad. I waited forty minutes and I finally asked the receptionist how much longer. It was 4:10 and he was seeing his 2:30 appointment!!!!! Terrible. terrible, no respect for the patient's time. I left without seeing him. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I find the Dr to be very professional and safe. But I do have a complaint his phone service in his office is terrible no one ever answers and if they do they transfer you to someone else who don’t pick up.i can’t believe a surgeon with this mans talent lets his office run like this. I’m sorry if I offend anyone but it’s very frustrating to keep calling and getting no where. And if you tell his staff they look at you like to bad.i recommended a dear friend of mine who can really use his help and she told me she can’t reach him or his office. Terrible.i hope the Dr. gets to read this. Again I hope no one gets in trouble but they can use a wake up call. I find the Dr to be very professional and safe. Very busy office, pleasant members on staff and fantastic Dr. Lowen. His surgery took away my pain and made it possible for me to walk and stand straight once again. Excellent care! The wait used to be long but with change of staff and appointment changes the wait is not long at all.

First visit waited 2 HOURS!!! Second visit-- After waitng 1 hour I was told it would be another 1 and half hour hours to be seen. My appointment was for 3PM

If you feel like waiting 3 hours.... enjoy! I’m done with this doctor who has NO respect for his patients.

Dr. Lowen and Florida Back Institute have been treating me since Dec. 2004. in December, 2004, on the eve of his family vacation I was in need of emergency surgery. Dr. Lowen scheduled me for a 9:30pm operation. I was and is successful to this day (Sept. 22, 2017). Outstanding care from the entire staff. Dr. Lowen went out of his way to help me get relief before my trip to China. Thank you Dr. Lowen for making it possible for me to climb on the Great Wall!

Dr. Lowen is very experienced with kyphoplasty, an underused procedure that gives rapid pain relief for collapsed vertebrae. He treated me successfully for this in 2014. Just saw him to get an additional kyophoplasty for new lower back pain but he carefully worked up my situation and said that I had no new fractures (after sending me for an MRI) and said I have other issues causing pain. He is very careful, kind and does not do unnecessary procedures. Office is well run with friendly staff.

I found Dr. Lowen and his staff to be very friendly and professional, I visited his office approximately four times for my orthopedic condition and was very pleased with the service received.

This guy jerked me around from October to March, testing, retesting and exposing me to massive does of radiation from Cat Scan after Cat Scan. After each test, I was lucky to see him after a month to discuss results. My wife and spent a minimum of 2 hours past appointment time and another hour in his examination room. All of his patients were stacked up like planes on the tarmac.He offered you a concierge fee of $250.00 if you wanted to see him at night. I suggest you see somebody else
