Dr. Nathan Jowett

I suffered a gunshot wound to the face recently and suffer from severe palsy on the inflicted side of the face…. Well…. Suffered I should say. Not only was he thorough and compassionate from the get go: he got me in ASAP and offered me a solution I didn’t even know was possible. I owe a great debt of gratitude to this man. Although the procedure was literally just done and most results won’t be evident for a few months: he restored SO much tone to the inflicted side of my face day one! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Nathan. 10/5 stars would more than recommend this doc, he’s a wizard.

Dr. Jowett is a very special health care provider. His knowledge of his specialty is remarkable. He is a great listener and he explains each step of a procedure in a very clear and concise manner. Dr. Jowett is very easy to communicate with and he puts me at ease during our conversations. I always look forward to my next visit and I am excited about my outcome from my Bell’s Palsy treatments. I highly recommend Dr. Jowett.

As someone who suffers from facial paralysis, I find appointments where people are looking at my face and taking photographs very intimidating. Dr. Jowett made the process far less unpleasant. He is very kind and caring and explains rather complicated surgeries in an easy to understand manner. I felt like it was important to him that I would be happy with the outcome of my surgeries and that he truly wanted to help me. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Jowett is provided a clear, understandable and detailed explanation of my current condition and treatment options. He has been my neurologist for almost two years and I travel nearly three hours to see him. He and the supporting staff in his office are all great communicators and answer all questions straightforwardly and without judgment.

My son had a one-step gracilis muscle transfer for congenital facial paralysis and Dr. Jowett and Dr. Hadlock did a great job. We will be returning for a follow up eye surgery. Both doctors are very personable and seem to very knowledgeable in the most up to date types of surgeries. Doing the one step procedure worked great for us and allowed us minimum downtime as my son is an athlete. I would highly recommend them.

I have had two surgeries with Dr. Jowett to do facial nerve reconstruction and both surgeries were very difficult and complex. In my opinion, Dr. Jowett and Dr. Hadlock are among a small handful of doctors anywhere in the US who are even capable of doing this kind of surgery. Dr. Jowett is very thorough and detail-oriented but he also personable and sincerely cares about his patients. His staff in the office are also very courteous, caring, and easy to work with. Dr Jowett is really doing some very amazing and pioneering work in this area!

I would recommend Dr. Jowett and Dr. Hadlock to anyone who was in need of their specialties. Dr. Jowlett is incredibly talented, meticulous, and very detail oriented. I used Dr. Jowlett and Hadlock for a gracilis flap muscle transfer and cross facial nerve graft. i could not be happier with the results. They resorted my smile and people are shocked when I tell them I had surgery.
