Our Son Sebastian Jude Scott was admitted to All Childrenâs Hospital in December 2020. He was diagnosed with AML Cancer. Right before his new chemo treatment, Dr. Grana gave him a Lumbar Puncture and his Platelet level was only at 9000 and should have been 70,000 to do the procedure, she gave him a âblastâ of platelets, and continued the LP. This resulted in blood entering the spine because his Platelets were too low to seal up the puncture. Resulting in blood entering his spine, which required an emergency back surgery, which hauled his new chemo treatment. This gave the cancer cells the ability to spread rapidly. On April 27th 2021, the Doctors told us it was too far to recover. We were sent home for Sebastian to live out the rest of his life at home. Sebastian passed away on May 15th 2021. This Doctor was careless and in a hurry per the nurses working that day. This review is to bring awareness to this Doctor. We trusted her.
