My mom was a patient of Dr Gormleys for many years (26 years to be exact.) She is the BEST Physician My mom could have Ever had. She is knowledgeable, courteous, organized, and was Always on schedule. She is an incredible Dr. She went on to become a Hospitalist, much to our disappointment, but will be outstanding in that field as well. I have yet to find a physician for my mom, to replace Dr. Gormleys shoes. God Bless you Dr. Gormley. Thank you for taking care of my mom so well. We miss you.

Dr. Gormley is easy to talk to. She listens to what YOU are saying. She is thorough, dedicated and a warm and friendly physician. Prompt with test results. Not a huge fan of going to see any doctor, but over the years this has changed. I trust Dr. Gormley - I wish I could say the same about other doctors I've seen.
Dr. Gormley used to be my primary and I would never recommend her. She has poor communication skills and only after revealing I was an RN was she decent to me. She assumes her patients are uneducated and does and prescribes whatever she wants without explanation. My last appointment she prescribed me meds without asking if I'm currently taking anything. Her assessment of me was all of 2 seconds. It's unsettling to think she has people's lives in her hands.
I have been seeing Dr for many years and she does listen to me , yes she is busy who isn't When I have needed to see her asap she did so immediately

If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not go to this doctor. I am a nurse with Advocate for over 10 years. I switched to Dr. Gormley as primary so I could go to Christ for my care (hmo). When she walked into the room, she did not say a word, just sat down at the computer. After me explaining why I was there, she said I can't help you. I though maybe she misunderstood what I was trying to say so I said, On my insurance website, your home hospital is Christ, is it not? She did not know!
Awful experience, poor communication skills, minimal physical exam, no explanation of reasoning for testing, would not recommend!
