We went to Dr. Young seeking information about cochlear implants or other options for our daughter with hearing loss. Dr. Young was dismissive of our concerns, talked over us, never examined our daughter, never spoke directly to our daughter or asked her opinions. She discussed the possibility of an auditory processing delay, but when we asked what that was she said she couldn't explain it and we wouldn't understand. We left frustrated with the terrible "bedside manner" of this renowned expert.
