Ms. Nancy Vivian O'Dell

I’ve been seeing Miss O’Dell for 5+ years now. Seeing her each week is like sitting down with a good friend. She is very understanding, she listens to my concerns, and she cares. She is honestly a walking book of knowledge! I have learned so much from Miss O’Dell over the years. She has taught me several techniques to help reduce my anxiety. She is very knowledgeable in the wholistic side of medicine. I guess my point is, Nancy is the best therapist I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot of them over the years. I’ve been fighting depression/anxiety all my life. I appreciate her so much! She has and is helping me fight this battle that’s mental illness. I highly recommend her to anyone who is dealing with mental health issues. She cares and she’ll do all she can to help you.

I feel that Nancy is very attuned to the needs of her clients. I felt comfortable and safe with her. She has a lot of experience in her field, and has helped me immensely.

She started out very helpful and I did make progress for awhile. But that changed rapidly. At one point, I told her something she did in a session bothered me, and she told me “you may think that’s what you saw but it wasn’t” and “you were overreacting”. She got incredibly defensive with me before finally apologizing. At another session later, she was very late. In that session, I was distressed from the subjects we were discussing, crying and visibly not okay, and she then cut my session short further by leaving early. She made no attempt to deescalate nor did she ask if I was ok before leaving. She did not apologize.

Honestly, Nacy is, hands down,THE BEST counselor I have ever been to. I have searched for years and experienced handfuls of good & bad counselors. I stopped my search once Nancy came into my life. For the first time, i felt as I truly mattered and my needs were being sincerely addressed. I HIGHLY recommend Nancy to anyone who is ready to get the help and direction they need to move towards a happy wholesome life.
