She is a fantastic physician! The whole office is wonderful and very compassionate.

Recently discovered Dr Binfords practice Balcones charges the maximum fee legally allowed for medical records. You have to pay $25 to access your own medical records. What a predatory practice. I have never encountered a facility that charges so much and I rarely come across ones that make you pay at all. Thanks for making it that much more expensive to diagnose my endocrine disease.

She's a great doctor and very supportive of LGBT+ patients such as myself.

I've been going to Dr. Binford for 4 years. She is a very kind and passionate doctor that genuinely makes a connection with her patients and has great bedside manner. Very knowledgeable and skilled.

Dr. Binford and her team are wonderful. This was my first pregnancy and I'm a plus-sized person, but she never judged or based my level of care on that. She even had my gestational diabetes screen scheduled for my 28th week. I had a perfect pregnancy until my third trimester when my water broke early. I spent a week in antepartum and Dr. Binford was there to check on me almost everyday. When my son arrived that Saturday, her team was right there. On my discharge she wanted to see me after two weeks just to check on my postpartum healing and depression because my son was in for a long NICU ride. My experiences with admin staff and Dr. Binford ranged from wonderful to abhorrent, and meriting additional training. She appeared from comments, actions and my own visits to prefer obstetrics to performing gynecological procedures, which could help explain her popularity as an obstetrician.

I would live for the staff to talk to the doctors like they talk to me! I have had increase concern about using this doctor because (Na$&%) hung up on me. She demanded I scan my insurance card to her instead of bringing when I come in. Seriously these are the issues that keep a doctor's office up at night?

I have been going to Dr. Binford for almost a decade and have always been treated with the best quality of care. While I do not always see Dr. Binford herself at these visits, the rest of her staff is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. I recently called to get a last minute appointment, and not only were they able to accommodate a same day visit, they went above and beyond for me. Dr. Binford was the voice I needed to hear on a bad day, and she immediately put all my concerns to rest. I can't recommend her enough, and I will continue going to her for years to come! I hope that Dr. Binford no longer gives out Vicodin to teenage patients like she did when she first started practicing in Austin. Because she used opiates as a first treatment of choice for bad cramps for my then 14 year old, my daughter became one of these opiate addicted patients that are everywhere today. It took 12 years, many rehabs and almost dying for my daughter to free herself from opiates. When a doctor ruins a person's life, they should be held accountable. Dr Binford is not your usual doctor. She is part of a dying breed in the medical profession these days. I was astonished at how much time she took with me during my visit. As I was a new patient, she asked insightful, thorough questions, answered all of my questions, and was genuinely interested in me. The attention and caring was remarkable. Best Dr. Office I've ever been to. They're awesome and are incredibly thorough with any questions you may have.

If I could give Dr. Binford more stars I would. This is hands down the best doctor I have ever had. She truly cares about her patients well being. I live over an hour away from this doctor. I have PCOS and was concerned of future fertility issues. Because of this, I researched in my area and Austin. I read mixed reviews, but the good ones gave her such amazing reviews that I decided to check it out. It has been almost two years and I have seen her multiple times for a variety of reasons and she NEVER made me feel like I was waisting her time. People complain about the long wait time. The reason for this is because she actually spends time with her patients. She listens to them and gets to know them. I have waited for hours without any mind when she was delivering a baby. Because she is that amazing. I came for an annual check up and was told I showed signs of precancerous cells on my cervix. She did a biopsy which confirmed this. I was scared to death and when I went in for my procedure she held my hand until I fell asleep from the anesthesia. When it was over she went and spoke to my family and took the time to explain this simple procedure to them. As if that wasn't enough, I wasn't able to get into my regular doctor for issues I felt like I was having with depression so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Binford. I explained my symptoms and apologized if I was out of line going to an OBGYN for this type of problem. She assured me that she could help, and she did. We spent months going over my symptoms and trying different things. She treated me with respect every step of the way. She even called me after hours when she remembered another remedy for me to try. Dr. Binford is the most dedicated doctor I have ever met. She cares about your health and your personal well being. For those who gave negative reviews, I believe that Dr. Binford is not one to just give you a quick solution and be done with it. She wants to know that you are as interested in your health as she is. If you do your part and take her advice she will work with you no matter what. I have been through several gynecologists, and never met one like her. I would (and do!) recommend her as often as possible. If I could give Dr. Binford more stars I would. I have enjoyed the services of 3 fine, kind and extremely knowledgeable OB/GYNs over the last 35 years. Each retired or moved on to new pursuits. Recently, I found myself in need of a new OB/GYN again. I did my homework (again). I checked with providers and physicians in related specialties. By inquiring with these pros who repeatedly work with (& are not in competition with) many OB/GYNs, I did my due diligence. After my initial visit, I could not be more pleased. Her physical was the most through ever. Her questions were kind but probing and thorough.. My mom sees Dr. Binford and I see Dr. Lori. She is such a pleasure to see everytime. The whole staff here are super sweet and even when you call to leave a message for the nurses, they call you back within a decent time frame. I moved to Dallas 4 years ago and I still go back to see lori because I don't want to see anyone else! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this group of obgyn. She has delivered 3 babies of ours. Some required emergency intervention. She is great under pressure, calm, and in control making life threatening decisions. It's comforting having her there and witnessing firsthand her professionalism and expertise in crazy unexpected circumstances. She doesn't panic.

Dr. Binford is the best ob/gyn in Austin. She is smart, compassionate and thorough. Dr. Binford's open demeanor makes oftentimes uncomfortable conversations about personal matters, very easy. My appointments with her are never rushed and I feel like Dr. Binford focuses on me and my needs during my time with her. She never fails to answer of all my questions and concerns. From Dr. Binford's bio (Rice, UT Southwestern Medical Dallas, Board Certified, etc.), I know that she is a highly credentialed physician and that makes me feel like I'm in good hands. Seems like there's a 25-35 minute wait every visit. She's a busy doctor so you're more likely going to be seen by her staff and 'be okay with seeing one of the NP' because Dr. Binford is not in or she's busy. The NPs are great but it would be nice to see a Dr. if that's what you're paying for and expecting.

Dr. Binford is my wife's OBYGN. I have head the opportunity to interact with her lately as we are expecting our first child. I appreciate her experience and ability to help me and my wife understand what is going on in our pregnancy and things that we should expect. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Binford is an amazing doctor. She is knowledgeable and kind. I believe that she saved my daughter's life by being proactive and I cannot imagine having another physician.
