Dr. Naim S Bashir

Dr. Bashir has treated my daughter and myself. My case was straight forward and my daughter's is not. He has taken my concerns seriously and listened and explained when I did not understand. When I questioned his plan of treatment, he explained, adjusted and made sure we were both comfortable with how we were going forward. He has been the most non judgemental doctor I have seen in years. I honestly wish he could be my primary.

I had an virtual visit with him. I’m assuming he must’ve had a long day and I was his last appointment because he was rushing me and also falling asleep. Months went by and till this day I haven’t heard anything from him! I got a bill tho! I would not recommend.

Office receptionist Ms. Straw (spelling maybe incorrect) was very rude for first visit and then rude again when calling to try and get equipment straight. I do not recommend this office at all!

Rude, rude, rude. Go elsewhere. My granddaughter needed a sleep study. She was staying with my husband and I during Covid-19, so I didn't have all her health facts. Dr. Bashir arrived late to the Zoom meeting, but that was okay. He seemed peeved that I couldn't answer all his questions. Nevertheless, he checked the box and decided to go forward with the study. I should have known something was wrong when the nurse entered my room and called me by a different patient name during my visit to get my take home sleep study equipment. After I returned the machine, the next day I got a call from Dr. Bashir telling me the sleep study results loaded onto myChart belonged to another patient and requested I return for another study. I declined. I was sent to collections for my copay after the office manager told me they would not charge me for the appointment. My insurance was not billed, and I never returned. I wish I had seen these reviews before scheduling my visit.

I interacted with Dr. Bashir in the past three months. I had one visit with him and it was so cold. He has no bedside manner, did not seem concerned and I felt his assessment was a checkbox process. He ordered a at home sleep test and never called with results. He had someone else call me saying I needed to come in for a more invasive exam. After that test, someone else called with results. I never heard from the man again and I am not surprised. The results were not added to my online medical account and I had to make a request. I gave up looking after noticing there was no response. I will NEVER utilize him again or any practice he affiliates if I have the option.

Dr. Bashir is hands-down the worst doctor I have ever encountered. As of Fall 2020, he is showing clear signs of declining mental faculty by accidentally mixing up and sending incorrect prescriptions and failing to grasp simple patient issues. Further, he punished me for not using my CPAP enough by taking away my prescribed daytime meds for narcolepsy. As an adult, I have never (not once) been an “upset customer” or needy patient, but this man is an absolutely horrible doctor. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible experience with this doctor. He did nothing but scare my son.

Does not return patient calls. Keeps asking me if I am using street drugs (I am not—don’t even drink) because during my first sleep study, he found pretty significant central sleep apnea, which CAN be caused by some drugs. But he has asked me four times about using street drugs! Still no. Had third sleep study done three weeks ago and haven’t gotten results. Twice I’ve called and left a message —once about my medication he prescribed. Took him over a week to return my call. Second time, I called last week because I hadn’t gotten results from THIRD sleep study and was told it would take no more than 5-7 days; it has now been three weeks. No return call yet. Meanwhile I’m still falling asleep during my daily activities. I’m not able to drive bc I am afraid of falling asleep behind the wheel. My quality of life has deteriorated and I’m not able to successfully perform my day-to-day tasks due to my excessive sleepiness and falling asleep during the day. I’ve complied 100% with the treatments prescribed so far. Three sleep studies and tens of thousands of dollars later and I have gotten no relief from what brought me to see a sleep specialist to begin with. Does not return patient calls. Dr. Bashir has been easy to work with.

The over night study didn't capture my problem. The office couldn't provide sufficient records for other doctor's reference.

I've been seeing Dr. Bashir for 2 years and have experienced dramatic (positive) changes in my sleep patterns. I greatly appreciate him taking the time to answer my questions and offering concrete suggestions for how to improve my overall health. I highly recommend Dr. Bashir to anyone dealing with any sleep issue.
