I want to preface this post by saying I have literally never reviewed a doctor before, but my experience with Dr. Mandava was so bad that others need to know prior to choosing care with him. I first saw Dr. Mandava a few years ago for an excision of a fatty tissue mass. I thought all was well at the time and the surgery went smoothly. In the meantime, there was a professional issue between Dr. Mandava and a family member of mine. Five years later, I have a recurrence of the tissue growth. I went back to see Dr. Mandala and he treated me with hostility. He appeared agitated by my questions and refused to do a biopsy or any imaging, which was recommended by other doctors who were concerned that 1) the growth could occur in other parts of my body, and 2) the growth could be malignant. I realize now that these steps should have been taken years ago but he acted negligently and never recommended or considered them. His disdain for me was so obvious that it affected his ability to provide me even adequate care or respect. There is no way I’m letting him take a knife to me and it is highly possible that he didn’t even cut the full growth out so I am going through this again. Hopefully this isn’t malignant and his decisions literally won’t kill me. Do yourself a favor and don’t see this surgeon. I want to preface this post by saying I have literally never reviewed a doctor before, but my experience with Dr. Mandava was so bad that others need to know prior to choosing care with him. I first saw Dr. Mandava a few years ago for an excision of a fatty tissue mass. I thought all was well at the time and the surgery went smoothly. In the meantime, there was a professional issue between Dr. Mandava and a family member of mine. Five years later, I have a recurrence of the tissue growth. I went back to see Dr. Mandava and he treated me with hostility. He appeared agitated by my questions and refused to do a biopsy or any imaging, which was recommended by other doctors. I went there to have lipomas removed. The doctor saw me and charged $45 for the visit. The office was supposed to call me about next steps, they never did call me. Don't waste your time.

It was wonderful place with very kind and compassionate hearts with very professional Tibetan Dr. Tsomo la and her staffs! Clean and I felt proud of them as Tibetan and Tibetans are doing great in the West! So, we will have the hope for the future of Tibet will be free!

Several years ago, I was blessed to meet with Dr. Nageswara Mandava, Chairman of Surgery at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. I encountered a compassionate, soft spoken doctor that took his time to explain all the details pertaining to my surgery. I had a great experience with no complications, I am happy to have chosen Dr. Mandava as my surgeon and highly recommend him to my family, friends and co-workers.

I would give 0 start but one star is for the nice receptionist lady. I went there for a circumscision.Very overpriced, even with insurance he tried to get all the deductible, around 7000 dollars. I got taken care by a dr Shteynshlyuger in Manhattan in a matter of weekend and I was able to go to work on Monday. Oh and I paid around 2000 dollar all inclusive. Stay away from this dr Mandava. He charged me 115 dollars for a simple visit, 3 minutes... terrible
