How does he specialize in Neurology??? Dont waste your time, not only do they triple book which I didnt have to take a half day of work if they were just honest and tell me ACTUAL time of our appt. He cannot hear, and oh should omit the word Neurology from his specialty because he was no where near doing his job! While he is at it RETIRE!!!!

Been going to dr. Jhaveri for almost a year. At almost every visit the wait is about an hour long , and I would be in and out from seeing him personally after only 5 minutes for my prescription refill. This last visit waited one hour and 45 minutes just for dr. Jhaveri to question why I called his office twice when he was out on vacation as I was dependent on the medication HE prescribed to me and I had run out of it. After feeling verbally attacked by this man, emotional and clearly there for his help, he sent me off with one last script and discharged me. This man is no true psychiatrist. I never write reviews but I needed to write one. For one, I waited 1 hour 50 minutes before being seen. After waiting an hour I decided to go out to my car and told the receptionist to call me. They called, and when I get inside the dr is agitated that I was not in the waiting room. When he calls me in I said hello and he proceeds to say nothing. I again say hello and he proceeds to say “so why are you here?” I’m sorry I do not feel comfortable talking to you about my issues and you’re showing exhibit signs of frustration. I explain to the dr I’m not sure what he wants me to say and that I feel uncomfortable speaking to him because he seems frustrated. He actually told me “I’m frustrated with you because you’re not opening up and it’s clear you have a problem with my office. “ This dr proceeded to write me a paper and said he recommends I see someone else. I got seen for 10 minutes and received discharged papers. I am disappointed and beyond upset. There are people struggling with depression and anxiety and this is what you do? I DO NOT recommend this dr what’s so ever. I know it’s hard during this pandemic but do not give up finding a dr that is truly compassionate and ready to listen to you. He’s great but since Christina, his receptionist, retired and he joined a Middletown Medical, it’s miserable. The staff is RUDE and ineffective, especially his medical assistant. She’s snarky and useless.

It was nice to wait in waiting room. The Covid-19 policies were being done! Dr Khaveri did not rush me! He took his time to go over everything!!!! It was a pleasant visit. Parking is in the back of building. There was plenty!!!

My wife and I have used Dr. Jhaveri many times for various neurological issues and have reccomended him to family and friends. He is very careful and thorough in his evaluations. You are never rushed through his visit. Consequently, he gives each patient the amount of time their condition warrants. This sometimes causes a backup in his waiting room but we have never found it to be a problem. He has accurately diagnosed several neurological issues in us and our family members, one of which was very subtle. He is an excellent doctor. However, if you are very impatient and require quick visits I suggest you find another doctor.

The Doctor was fine, if you can get though his office person. She is unprofessional, complains about him behind his back( underpaid, overworked) and is rude to other patients. It is not uncommon to wait over an hour for your appointment. The doctor did spend time with me, and was pleasant, attentive, and answered all my questions..
