Warm, kind and takes the time to explain the procedure and keep the patient (my husband) calm. Old school and a master surgeon.

I saw Dr. Khan as referral from my PCP. I’ve had an outstanding lump in my armpit for more than six months. As it was already determined that it wasn’t cancerous, it was still persistent and causing pain. The appointment lasted no longer than six minutes. I was too “young and pretty” to have so much physical discomfort. He seemed to be more interested about the scars on my arm and trying to compare them to the “illegitimate” pain that I was feeling. I understand that I have a much less serious issue than other patients who come in to their outpatient office. If you’re a young adult I highly recommend seeing someone with significantly better and appropriate bedside manner. I have never felt more invalidated by a medical professional. I was seen at Dr. Kahan's office today and just wanted to say it was wonderful experience. The staff in his office is friendly and supportive. Dr. Kahan is agreat surgeon.

Dr Kahan and his team are the best. I went yesterday for him to look at a cyst on my back which he examined and said he could remove today if i wanted. I love that for I am busy with the added bonus of the procedure being painless during and none following. Dr kahan is a real pro!!

I saw DR M. Kahan on 10/2619. He is a well know & excellent surgeon. I have had 1 surgery with him in the O.R. At NWH. He is always my go to Dr. for any medical problems in his area of expertise. I needed to see him today. It has been awhile since I needed his expertise in & today was like I never left. His caring, calming , manner is the best I have ever had. He cares about his patients as person . He assured me I was okay & what he did & didn’t find. He said he would email my PCP Dr. William Liaw who I also can tell u he is just as wonderful as Dr. KAHAN. Thanks to both Dr’s for conducting themselves in the best manner & being what a Dr. should & can be like in this confusing situation in Health CARE. My husband recently had a surgical hernia repair with Dr. Kahan...and "loved every moment of it"..I know it is strange to say but Dr. Kahan made him feel totally well cared for and cared about. We are both grateful for the physical--and emotional outcome!

I saw Doctor Kahan for minor surgery to deal with sebaceous cyst. There was very little waiting involved. He was very warm and courteous and business-like at the same time.

I had a terrible visit with Dr. Kahan. He began belittling me from the minute he walked through the door. He completely disregarded my medical history and previous treatment. He spoke as though he couldn't believe any other doctor had ever taken my symptoms seriously and said he couldn't even think of anyone to recommend who would possibly consider giving me a second opinion. I absolutely would not recommend seeing him. My visit with him was a complete waste of time.

For Mary, Dr. Kahan was very thorough in his diagnoses and presented a solid plan to proceed.

Very friendly, professional and straight to the point. He will make any patient feel confident and relaxed.

Dr. Kahan is a precise and careful physician , who provides cogent and easily understood explanations of what he is doing. He also is a delightful man and fun to talk with. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Morton saw me right away for a procedure, quickly alleviating my pain. He was lovely and kind and immediately put me at ease. He made something that might have been a scary experience a pleasant one. I feel fortunate to have been in his care.

I was in and out of there and r. Kahan removed the cysts quickly and stitched me up in no time. His assistant and woman that checked me in was very nice as well. I would definitely recommend to any one that needed to have anything removed.

Dr. Kahan was personable, professional and set me at ease. I enjoyed speaking with him. He clearly understood even better than I did what my problem was and he took care of me on the spot. While the procedure wasn’t exactly pleasant he was quick and I have experienced no lasting pain or discomfort. All in all a very successful visit.

Dr. Kahan was my surgeon for a benign breast lesion in 2008. The surgery was easy and the scar healed well. He is a very concerned surgeon and has an excellent manner with patients. I saw him again recently and he (and his office) are still very nice to deal with.

Dr Kahan has my vote for #1 surgeon. He has it all. He is professional, personable. He explains what, why and how with no sugarcoat. He is available for any reason post-procedure....and his ‘trainee’Morgan is as pleasant and professional and learning from the best...thank you Dr Kahan and Morgan....Christine M

Dr. Kahan has a special gift to connect with his patients I think. At least that’s how I felt. He sticks to science and explains things in plain English and adds his sense of humor to it. I felt extremely safe with him.

Dr. Morton Kahan is a considerate and caring professional who made sure I was fully informed about my procedure before starting it. Top notch doctor!

The building was clean, easy to navigate, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was overall reassuring. Doctor Kahan himself was responsive, friendly, and helpful. I enjoyed my visit and left feeling better.

Dr. Kahan has a great "bed-side" manner while I was in his office. He exudes professionalism and comfort while carefully explained the procedure and answered all my questions and concerns. A credit to Newton-Wellesley Surgeons as I knew I was in great hands.

Great staff, and Dr. Kahan is an expert, kind, warm doctor and while it is not ideal to have to see him, it's a joy that it is HIM you're seeing in uncomfortable times. He's the best kind of doctor.
