Dr. Morgan Arvidson Todd

Dr. Todd has been my primary care physician for several years and I have been so pleased with the exceptional care she provides. I suffer from Parkinson’s Disease which manifests in many different signs and symptoms. Dr. Todd has supported the care I receive from my neurologists while also tending to all of my primary care needs. She is thorough, intuitive and attentive. We often approach my health care as a partnership which allows me to participate in my short and long term goals. I admire Dr. Todd for taking the time at each and every visit to completely address my concerns and even share tips for improving the quality of my life despite having a chronic condition. I have also found the office staff to be welcoming and accessible. There have been times when I have needed a prescription refill or a copy of a report and without delay, Dr. Todd or her staff have taken care of it and notified me in a timely manner. I believe the respectful and positive tone that Dr. Todd sets in her practice encourages those around her be efficient and responsive to all patients. Over the years, I have referred several patients to Dr. Todd and without exception, she has received the same accolades from other people. Congratulations for employing such a special health professional. Dr Todd is truly valued.

Only waited a few minutes. I had some questions and addressed those first. Then we discussed lab work and then did an exam. Great experience.

She has actually SAVED MY LIFE more than once. She listens to everything you say and feel and pushes you to care for yourself. She’s relatable, honest and reliable. I hope I never have to find another primary care doctor.

She is a caring, knowledgeable, professional, and amazingly thorough family physician. In our world of vast, diverse medical information that requires so many specialists, we place a huge burden on the family doctor to deal with all of it when trying to help us stay healthy in spite of our unique, sometimes weird symptoms. When she encounters a condition that does not make sense to her, she does her best to understand it through testing, referrals, and personal investigation. I have a rare disease which she diagnosed, recognized its urgency, and began immediate treatment. A rheumatologist treats my condition. He said that family doctors do not know that this disease exists, and that she saved my eyesight. He said that, if I had ANY other family physician, I would be blind. I found myself a RARE GEM!!!!

I was recommended to Dr. Todd when I moved to Wilmington, NC. I am so happy to have her as my physician. She is thorough, she listens to your issues, explains lab results and other test results. How fortunate I feel to have found a caring person to monitor my health.

Dr. Todd is extremely rude and dismissive. She takes things extremely personal and if you ask to transfer providers, she will put you in to be dismissed as a patient not only at her office, but will also recommend you not be a patient within a health system at all. She is a bully and extremely discriminatory. Highly DO NOT recommend.

Dr. Todd is extremely rude and dismissive. I never felt heard at her office and she spent more time on her phone and smart watch then she did talking with her patient. When I asked to transfer providers, she took that upon herself to have me dismissed as a patient from an entire health system. Do not try and argue with her unless you are up to be bullied and pay for it.

She is my daughters doctor and she is great. She was so nice and took the time with my toddler and my toddler took to her and was not scared. She is sweet and takes time with you to explain things and calm your fears. I would absolutely recommend.

What can I say about Dr. Todd & her team other than they're amazing! From the business office staff (don't remember names), CMA (Gretchen), nurse (Lezlie & Michelle), to the referral coordinator (Stacey)- they all take pride in providing excellent patient care. Dr. Todd is very good at listening to her patients concerns and needs. She makes you feel like you are in a room of balloons and confetti when you are on track with your health. She gives great support and only a phone call away when you are struggling to stay on track.

I have been seeing Dr Todd for several years now. She is the absolute best! She is honest, shows she really does care, very personable. I would only not see her if I moved!

Dr. Morgan Todd is AMAZING!!! She found and fixed a problem that I had been struggling with for years. The problem kept me from enjoying everyday life and activities. I saw multiple doctors including military doctors over a period of about 7-8 years with no explanation or relief from my symptoms (that had appeared overnight one day and never went away). Dr. Todd diagnosed the problem in one visit, prescribed new medication that I had never previously had. It fixed my problem in one day. Thanks to Dr. Todd I am now back to resuming normal life. Dr. Todd is an amazing doctor. She listens to your concerns, comments, and finds the best solutions. When I first signed on as patient, I was looking towards a male doctor. But now, I'm glad that I gave her a chance. I'm very impressed with her work, and ability to help me with my health.

I've been a patient of Dr. Todd's for over a decade, and I've always found her to be warm, kind and extremely intelligent. I never feel rushed, or as if DR. Todd is a hurry. It's to tell she picked a career in medicine because she genuinely wants to help patients live their healthiest lives.

Morgan Todd made me feel unheard, uncomfortable, and uncared for, to the point that I began to stop scheduling appointments when I felt my health declining. It would take 4 weeks to get in with her and at that point you'd be dead or better right? Her nursing staff makes you feel like you were bothering them with refills, questions or appointments. They would constantly send my prescription to the wrong pharmacy and actually got my prescription wrong three times - this is so unsafe! They'd forget to call about lab results in a timely manner. Doctor Todd constantly disregarded my concerns and ran lab tests that weren't relevant to my visits, she has to be selling blood or something. The wait time was 45 minutes to an hour, and I only got to see her for 15 minutes. I do not know why I continued to stay. I have good insurance, so it wasn't a waste of her time to have me come for multiple follow up appointments when I need more than 15 minutes of her time so she could make easy money.

Dr Todd is probably the best doc I have had ... She kept pushing to find answer to my medical issues and literally saved my life . I would recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Todd is the most compassionate and understanding doctor. She listens to what you say but looks beyond the symptoms always trying to get to the root of the problem. She’s been my doctor for five years now and she’s always be her so helpful and personal even when I only see her when I’m not my best. I recommend to her everyone and you’ll feel in good hands with her.

She consistently rushed my appointments and sighed if I tried to bring up further issues. She would tell me to make another appointment, so she can charge my insurance again. I've been misdiagnosed by her multiple times and she simply sweeps it under the rug when the correct diagnoses is given by a specialist or results do not confirm hers. It seems that her nursing staff also shares her same bothered sentiment. You shouldn't have to fight this hard for care. I wouldn't recommend her.

I will travel as long as I have to travel to be able to see a Doctor as amazing as Dr. Todd. It’s a rare thing to find someone who cares about you as a person in our healthcare today. She cares.

She is not only astute at clinical diagnoses and recommendations based on current medical research, but she also listens and seems to detect personal issues within the patient that need attention as part of the healing. Dr. Todd is a truly wonderful physician. She has the healer's touch. Always calm and reassuring, she explains medical issues clearly. She has been my family physician for about 7 years now. I travel 50 miles one way to see her. This alone shows my confidence is her competency and effectiveness as a Family Physician. She is the ringmaster for many specialists that I see. A visit to Dr. Todd is always a boost. Her momma must be so proud. Wish the system would let me give her more stars. Irresponsible and unprofessional doctor.

Wilmington health does not seem to encourage its doctors to thoroughly address a patient’s concerns. They seem to be of a quantity, not quality, mindset when it comes to appointments. During my visits with Dr Todd, she spent all of 5 minutes with me, mainly telling me that my concerns were likely in my head (despite prior diagnoses in my medical history that indicates otherwise). The nurses in this office do not seem to be adequately trained on patient and prescription management; there were multiple instances where my (necessary) prescriptions were not refilled because the nurses stated I needed to see the doctor first, although I already had an appt scheduled within a week or two of running out of the script. This caused very negative medical consequences, on one instance I had to be admitted to the er as a result. When I addressed this with Dr Todd she simply told me I should have called her, and would not discuss it further. As the nurses are the gatekeepers when calling the office, I found this suggestion to be very inappropriate and condescending.

My concerns were constantly dismissed, I felt like my health was not being taken seriously. Wilmington Health seems to discourage their doctors from spending an adequate amount of time with patients to actually have thorough conversations needed to address concerns. She is a nice enough woman, but at no point should a patient be told that severely negative symptoms are “probably in your head”.. after finding a doctor who actually listened, I was diagnosed with a very serious illness.

When I went into her office I didn't have that long of a Wait hut when I got in there she didn't really listen and didn't really help me at all. She wrote on her little clip board said have a nice day and that was the end of it.
