My name is Kathryn Bryant Knudson and I believe this is one of the best ob gyn practices I have ever known. Dr Thorne is fantastic and very thorough.

Hands down the absolute best doctor I have ever worked with.

Dr. Thorne takes time to listen and explain everything. Never felt rushed. Both him and his nurse are great.

Went to Dr. Thorne for annual exam. Waited for almost an hour. When he saw i had gotten dressed and was leaving he was curt with me and turned to go into another room. Never apologized. A week later i received a rude letter stating i would be seen on emergency basis for 30 days and then he would consider our relationship as ended. By then, i had already found and seen a doctor who came well recommended. I did not wait long to be seen and the doctor was genuinely polite. November 2019

Absolutely love my doctor he has been my physician for over 9 years and always taken great care of me through all of my pregnancies considering I was a high risk patient. When I first moved to Ga It was hard finding a doctor that was willen to accept a high risk patient, but dr Thorne had no worries and was eager to look at my situation. We are now expecting our 3 baby and I wouldn't consider having another dr. I saw Dr Thorne for an annual exam. I am post-menopausal & let him know I thought I was seeing signs of ovulation. He said he would swab to test for infection. Turns out, I did have a slight yeast infection. The shock came when I received the lab bill. He ordered over $1100 worth of tests - for a yeast infection! My insurance company denied most of the charges as excessive - now I have to pay out of pocket. Moral of my story - ask before he orders any tests. It may cost you big time!

Probably cost my wife and i our sons life and left placenta in her and after telling her it was gone on two different visits. And that the massive bleeding was normal. Terrible all the way around and doesnt deserve to be a doctor

I was leaking fluids at 22 weeks pregnant and went to the ER to make sure everything was ok. The nurse swabbed me and wanted to do an ultrasound. The only way to receive an ultrasound was under a doctors orders. The doctor on call was Dr. Thorne. He did not come in when he was called and told the nurse to just schedule me to come back during regular office hours on Monday (this was a saturday). I lost my baby the next morning. He was heartless & absent throughout the entire process.

I have been seeing Dr.Thorne since I moved to Columbus Ga, he has great bedside manner as in you feel comfortable right away, no matter how busy & he's always! Busy he will never rush you out. However he is fast & efficient so goes very quickly regardless. I would highly recommend this Dr. Heis my Gyn, but I'm sure obstetrics in any form is his best at all times. He's just a very nice & gentle Doctor but most professional consistently .
