Dr. Woodward was extremely rude and uncaring. She was visibly annoyed by my questions and just wanted to finish the appointment and hand me over to her staff. She did not offer any explanations and has zero bedside manner. Dr Woodward may be knowledgeable but her attitude and demeanor left me very uncomfortable. I will not be returning to her care.

As a patient of hers I spoke with her nurse because I’m having problems with my CPAP. I was advised that I need to schedule an appointment to see her for her to write a prescription to have my CPAP machine fixed. Outside of that I was told that they did not accept my insurance and I should go to Amazon or eBay to find the parts to fix my machine! Don’t waste your time with her rude and inconsiderate office! In response to your rebuttal, as proof your nurse was too argumentative to listen to your patient. It is not the water chamber that is broken! It is the lid on the machine that pops open 3 -4 times nightly leaving me waking up sweating and gasping for air! I’ve played everyone games and I’m 3 weeks in an no resolve. Lincare is saying its your issue to correct, your office is saying it’s my issue to correct and is referring me to Amazon or ebay( totally unprofessional) Please don’t make it seem if I’m unreasonable if the problem was a $38 water chamber I would have purchase a dozen of them to have this problem solved, but that’s not the problem. I’m not going to remove the one star rating as requested and if I could give your office another one I will. You profession is healthcare not tiddlywinks! Your clients health care should be key and if I was the first person to respond in this manner then I’d be the problem, but that not the case! Doctor, Staff and office are great. But be warned if you choose to buy a machine from them just like when I bought it from Naples oxygen years ago it is better to get your script, buy it out right and submit to your insurance on your own for reimbursement. In the end they received around $1,630 for a $650 CPAP.

I recently moved into the area and concerned about leaving my old sleep apnea doctor and care. Upon stepping into the offices of Sleep Disorders Center, my fears were erased immediately. From the front desk to exit desk, the staff and Dr. were pleasant, engaging, competent, helpful, and interested in me. I left with suggestions, a new game plan on continuing to address and monitor my sleep issues, and a great comfort feeling. First time visit - FANTASTIC!

My experience was great, I was comfortable staying in a strange place. Vary nice room, like staying in a hotel, except the wire poney tail. LOL

Your recommendation today was horrible! They should not take anything you said into consideration! Shame on you it’s always best to prepare for the worst and pray for the best! Are you on the front lines in the Er? No! No one cares if your husband knows the county officials!

I am 71 years and very healthy and was most traumatized and afraid/scared/and puzzled after being diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea, AFTER believing, following lengthy searching, that I had selected what outwardly appeared as the very best physicians in town, I had to leave the NCH Sleep Pulmonary Downtown Group, with Obstructive Sleep Apnea, then SOON realizing I was with a group of questionable professionals, poor 2nd and 3rd level staffing, seemingly team unlead. I was truly afraid, confused and for me scary. My goal for the value of sustaining my life was at extreme conflict and I was in shock of competency! I KNEW I had to Switch, I was frightened but understanding an Immediate new path was Urgent. I soon restarted treatment by Physician Dr. Monica Woodward, the Director of the Sleep Disorders Center of SW Florida...a 5 star facility, an All Star competent team, and I Immediately knew I was competency. My Cpap machine & accessories changed, Excellent, Now fear GONE!

Amy, the PA, was a pleasure to deal with. I really enjoyed the visit and enjoyed the caring demeanor. I feel like I am on a good path to recovery. I would recommend to anyone.

The absolute rudest most insensitive doctor I have ever met in my entire life. I would recommend that no one gives her the time of day. Never have I been spoken down to in such a manner.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Woodward and her team, from my first phone call through all of my office visits the entire staff is friendly and professional. They take their time and thoroughly review your symptoms and explain the process and treatment options. They went out of their way to fit me in for appointments that were convenient with my work schedule. They are a top notch team and I greatly appreciate the superior service and attention.

thanks dr. woodward I didn't think anybody could get me back to sleep without sleeping pills but you did it after 15 yrs of sleeping pills,I had given up hope of sleeping on my own but you did it. It was't easy I have to admit it..And now off the lorazapan I feel like my old self again thank you and keep up the good work and help many other patients..We might be older but not dead...

I would never recommend her to anyone. She was my fathers pulmonary Dr. and was not only rude but seemed indifferent. My father had a continuous cough which he brought to Dr. Woodward attention, but she always responded with "Your lungs are clear" and you don't need an X-ray. My father switched to another pulmonary specialists and upon having an X-ray they detected my father had lung cancer from which he passed away.

I would like to highly recommend Dr Woodward. I have been a patient of hers for several years and have found her to be extremely empathetic and caring. Not only has she been a kind and pleasant to me but she is the same way with her wonderful staff. The manner with which a Doctor treats her staff is always an indication how she is with her patients. She is well versed on pulmonary issues and sleep related problems. I highly recommend her.

My experience at the Sleep Center was much different than the last three reviews. The staff was excellent and the office ran very smoothly. Also, Dr Woodward was very courteous and concerned. Her suggestion for sleep therapy has made a big difference on improving my quality of life. I would highly recommend this office to anyone seeking help with sleep issues.

I have to agree 100% with the prior reviewer's experience. This doctor is completely lacking in empathy, the ability to listen to her patients, caring and understanding, bordering on total rudeness and non interest. I felt like I was just another insurance payment and that my health did not matter at all. I saw her a total of 3 times and not once did she or her staff even ask how I was doing or feeling. The atmosphere at her office was uncomfortable and did not make me feel at ease.

Very rude with her patients, gives off the vibe that she just wants to get the appointment over as fast as possible and doesn't care about you or your health at all. I saw her 3 times and got the same vibe each time. Just extremely rude and almost hostile, would not recommend her to anyone until she gets her rotten attitude fixed.
