My Wife had sharp pain towards pelvic left ovary in Dec and after all diagnostic tests the OBGYN concluded that she need to do hysterectomy because it “may be possibly” an ovarian cancer (OC) therefore need to consult Gyn oncologist. We consulted two surgeons : Dr Prasad from Mount Sinai and another from Sloan Kettering. Both surgeons were good and had different approach but we are glad that we went with Dr. Prasad. Because: 1. Her diagnostics skills- are superior as she was able to read and interpret the MRI clearly and concluded it may be "Endometriosis" not OC. Usually for any kind of cyst/ fibroid / tumors without doing biopsy its very hard to conclude if its benign or cancerous. 2. Surgical skills- A Patient doesn't do surgery or remove ovary multiple times therefore it’s hard to quantify & compare but based on post-operative it seems she is superb in her surgical skills. 3. Bedside manners are awesome - i.e. clear communication , concern, follow-ups , empathy & personalized approach …. I definitely recommend her. Yesterday I had my ovaries and fallopian tubes removed by Dr Hayes. My gynecologist for whom I have much respect recommended that I see Dr Prasad. From the moment I met her, I felt comfortable! She was warm and empathetic - spent time explaining the surgery to be done - and had appropriate humor. She also told me to expect some pain following the surgery for a few days. Well, here I am to tell you that I have had no pain and haven't taken any pain pills. Either I am very naive or Dr Prasad is very good. I believe the latter is true!

Dr. Prasad-Hayes did a hysterectomy for me and was absolutely wonderful! She is kind, explained things in terms that I could understand, and the surgery was easy! It must be nice to be such a skilled doctor and surgeon! I HIGHLY recommend!

Dr Hayes is both knowledgeable as well as extremely personable. I had a procedure done today and she made me feel so comfortable. The gynecologist I’ve been using for over 10yrs is retiring and I will be going to Dr Hayes going forward. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her.

Dr Prousad Hayes was lovely. She was helpful, informative, positive and pleasant. She personally called me with my biopsy results and answered all my questions before my follow up appointment to ease my mind.

Dr Prasad Hayes performed my D&C, polyp removal (in my uterus) and hysteroscopy. I liked her from the moment I met her. She’s kind, attentive, thorough, and a great surgeon. She has one of the nicest bedside manners of any doctor I have ever been to. She answered all of my many questions both before and after the surgery. My gyno referred me to her since she’s highly skilled and I absolutely recommend her.

Dr. Prasad is a great doctor. She is knowledgeable and compassionate. She is also a very skilled surgeon.

I had surgery for what Dr Prasad-Hayes and the radiologist thought was a benign tumor in my ovary. Dr P-H explained that I would need a more extensive surgery if the biopsy (done during surgery) was malignant. It was, so I had a total hysterectomy, plus removal of tumors from my pelvic cavity. She's a great surgeon, has a well-run office, and has an excellent bedside manner re: explaining possible scenarios pre-surgery, and diagnosis and treatment options post-surgery. I highly recommend her.
