Mojgan Rahmani

I guess folks either love her or hate her, based on reviews. I’m definitely the latter. Cold, rushed, seemingly heartless. Doesn’t even pretend to listen-just wants to move you on. Training and brains is good to have, obviously, but not without compassion and empathy. She showed neither.

I will say all the other reviews are accurate and also reason why I'm giving one star and will never return to this office! Also younger patients stand up and be an advocate for yourself this Dr is a bully and doesn't deserve to treat patients the way she does. So I will say it's ok to seek a 2nd opinion if youre not happy with any of your Drs !

Honestly it's sad how much I was missing without realizing it. I just moved to Denver and after meeting with my new endocrinologist, I realized how much better an experience it was in one visit than the entire year I spent here with Dr. Rahmani at IMA. To be fair, I don't think she's a bad person. I think maybe she's just older and tired of her job in this industry because she only seems to care about getting more patients in the door than the actual wellbeing of said patients - which means more billing. She was nice but not very professional, always cut me off to talk over me in appointments and tell me whatever I was experiencing was normal without addressing it. As a twenty-something who had just had thyroid cancer and is now working out her hormones, everything I was experiencing was not normal and my concerns being dismissed was disrespectful. If you have your levels dialed in and don't need any personal interaction, she will be fantastic for you.

Dr Rahmani is a wonderful, caring Dr who listens to her patients. She also makes sure that they understand her instructions for treatment plan.

Dr. Rahmani is the best endocrinologist.. I drive over an hour to see her and would drive three if needed. She listens to what you have to say and explains things when you have further questions. I switched to her after being extremely displeased with my previous endocrinologist. Dr. Rahmani got my TSH under control and continues to monitor it closely. I'm beyond grateful for her and her incredible team.. they helped me get my life back after my TT.

She is very arrogant. Has no sense of empathy or compassion. Even after I made her Nurse Practitioner Sherri Morris my provider she continued to monopolize my care for my Type 1 Diabetes. I have now gone to the pharmacy 4 times in the last week for my prescriptions which she took upon herself to write. I received sensors for my glucose reader that were incompatible. She wrote all of my prescriptions for only one month. When three months saves me money. She wrote all my prescriptions wrong. The pharmacist tried to communicate with her she refused to help. Claimed I needed to follow protocol and speak with the nurses who I had already messaged multiple times that week. Every time I’ve had a scheduled appointment with Sherri it has been canceled and rescheduled with Dr. Rachmani without my consent. She is very arrogant. Has no sense of empathy or compassion. She was fully masked, gloved, face shielded and wearing a surgeon's gown. Don't know if she meets all patients like this, or only ones who have not had a Covid vaccine. She was very matter of fact in her explanation of my thyroid issues, but did not seem interested in having a dialogue about my questions. She recommended surgery, didn't even discuss other options. Beside manner was brusque and hurried. I didn't get any feelings of caring for the patient as a person, just a case.

This office is very unprofessional. I’ve been going here for my thyroid prescription to be filled and there has been ample problems. Go by the ratings. This office had 1 star on google and I still went. The dr went on vacation and let me go 2 weeks without medicine. Thyroid medicine you are not soupposed to miss a day or you can have serious issue and can also result in death. I came to their office in tears because I didn’t have the medicine no one sent me home with samples or anything. The lady with the limp actually thought it was funny. I recorded them all!! When dr rohmani came back she said it was unacceptable and they should’ve sent me home with samples at least until she could’ve called a prescription. Their excuse was the couldn’t fill a prescription without an appointment. So in other words I should’ve just died. Fast forward to today’s date they dropped me from the office without notice NOR MEDICINE again didn’t have the decency to call after I left them a message saying no one called me for my virtual appointment!! I came to get blood drawn the day before. They knew to call me! They’ve booked plenty of morning appointments that I said over and over I’m not available for morning appointments and I missed them BECAUSE I AM NOT AVAILABLE FOR MORNING APPONTMENTS so now I’ve missed 3 and been dropped. Do not go here. They don’t care about you a little bit. Find a place understanding. Paris is the only one worth seeing she is amazing and kind and sweet and understanding. After seeing an endocrinologist at a different hospital, I asked for change. I was happy with her she actually didnt a thorough exam ultrasound, found a nodule. The 1st Dr didnt do near as much . I have bloodwork coming up I have hashimotos disease.

I don't understand the negative comments about Dr. Rahmani. She has always been very kind and made sure my issue was taken care of promptly. I now feel much better after suffering for years!! She has also been working with me very closely to make sure that everything stays going well.

Had to wait 5 months for an appointment. The day of the appointment after heavy rain my car stalled out half way there. I called when I got my car started 15 minutes after my appointment time. I was told they would no longer see me or reschedule due to their "strict attendance policy". Wish I would've read the reviews here first and just cancelled and looked for another doctor. If it were possible say zero stars, I would. Dr Rahmani was pleasant and professional but she never saw me, examined me or laid hands upon me until after six months of regular visits. I am a type 1 diabetic (for 45 years) and I am a doctor. This should NEVER EVER happen - the first thing they taught us in med. school was to take a complete medical history and examine every patient completely, before you do anything else including eat or sleep. There was a $30 copay each time for a "specialist" appointment, yet every time I was seen only by the nurse/diabetes educator and no one else. After six months I complained rather loudly that I was tired of that BS and I demanded that the Dr. at least do a physical. I could have had a pancreatic mass the size of a soccer ball for all she knew - diabetics get cancer there. Isn't this is a critical aspect of diabetology? Well, Duh... I finally received my physical exam. Shortly thereafter I got a letter from Dr. Rahmani saying I was no longer welcome in her practice because I had used profanity. No emphaty all about the money doctor! She will tell the nurse to call you and have schedule as soon as possible even you just see her yesterday! And when the result is normal she will do the same call you ASAP go to office and just to tell you to continue your medicine! Don’t care if you will have a panic with the message she won’t tell you why in the phone! She want to tell you that in person! She don’t care if you finish your salary visiting her 6 times a month! I work in healthcare so I know what you should and should not say to a patient. Dr. Rahmani came in the room and said " I did not expect it to be cancer but, it is cancer" I was not called in sooner or anything. They had the results within 3 days but, thought it was alright to make me wait 10 days before giving me any results. Then after asking a question I was told to look on the internet. That is a huge NO NO. Never refer a patient to the internet. I have never been treated so poorly by a provider. She is not compassionate. I do not recommend her to anyone. This Dr. (and I use that term loosely) is why I will continue to avoid physicians educated in medical schools outside the United States and who seem to have now become associated with the poor low level standard of care the GHS has for patient care. Patients need to educate themselves.I'm both shocked and dismayed that the Greenville Hospital System choses to employ this physician, she's nothing more than a malpractice suit waiting to happen: the reviews here are evidence of as much. I was not at all shocked to find I'm not alone in my experience. I found this physician to be dismissive and arrogant AT BEST, her bedside manner is a terrible disservice to patient care. After several visits, it became terribly obvious her level of patient care, her awareness of case history along with her protocol and recommendations were providing a substandard level of care. I'd say Dr. Rahmani is hard pressed to be qualified as a nutritionist much less an endocrinologist. I say this not as a patient or a layman but as a patient who found a much more knowledgeable competent physician whose findings completely contraindicated that of Dr. Mojan Rahnani. I saw the other posts and was astonished to see the negative comments. I met with Dr. Rhamani yesterday and was impressed with both her knowledge and her manner. She went out of her way to keep me from having to return to the office which I greatly appreciated and she understood the idea of keeping health care costs down. I would recommend her to anyone! This was a great experience. After dealing with another endocrinologist in a different hospital system locally, I finally found a doctor who did the needed tests and addressed many issues. I am feeling better, on less medication, and am more in control with my diabetes and thyroid problems. Staff has been great!

She has a terrible personality. She did two Fine Needle Biopsies on me that did not acquire enough cells.

I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a physician. This is based off several appointments. I will never go back there again.

Saw this Doctor for a thyroid goiter. She was very curt and did not seem too interested in my concerns. She wanted me to come back for a biopsy and when I heard how she was going to perform it, I cancelled and looked for a new doctor. Dr. Lokey in Greenville finally did the biopsy and I would highly recommend him. He is kind, patient, funny and just a wonderful human being. Saw this Doctor for a thyroid goiter. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this person. She was unwilling to address the whole reason I went to her office, the reason was only to get an insulin pump to help control/prevent low sugars. 3 months seeing her and not the first word about a pump. My appointment was at 230 they took me back at 245 She didn't come in until 330 She only listened for certain key words then try to twist them she didn't won't to do any test to further help to find out what's wrong with me she keep trying to insteast it another problem when I don't have any symptoms of the other problem she hardly even examined me I felt like I was at quick oil change place she barely took the time in my opinion she is poor excuse for a doctor I wouldn't recommend her

I have not felt well for many years. I have been told by 3 different specialists that my symptoms point to ADRENAL FATIGUE or adrenal problems. I went to this Dr for help....at times feel like I might not make it thru the day. She was not only RUDE but would not let me talk ...she gave me the 3rd degree for believing in Adrenal Fatigue ..."Who told you this?" in a loud tone. MAYO CLINIC DOES recognize this as a Diagnosis. My ACTH was abnormal... will have to see someone else who cares.

She is one of the few endocrinologist around so I have felt at her mercy to see her. She does not like for you to ask questions and she takes less than 5 minutes to examine and talk with you. She displays very poor bedside manner and can be downright rude.

The staff was extremely helpful. As for Dr. Rahmani I disagree with telling a patient to look information up on the internet after being diagnosed with cancer. I work in healthcare and you never tell a patient to look something up on the internet when they have questions.

The staff and Dr are so completely friendly and polite. I have never had such a great experience at a medical environment like this before.... Even the secretary was full of smiles and so pleasant! The Dr, she was very knowledgable and informative. I would and will recommend Dr Rahmani to others for sure!
