Last year Dr Rao corrected my deviated septum and a couple of other minor nose issues. First he is just a pleasure to talk to. Explained everything clearly. Puts you at ease. The surgery was life changing. Could not be happier with the results. I would highly recommend Dr Rao

I was caught in traffic accident. I called office and told them I would be late. I arrived 19 minutes after my appointment time. I was told I would need to reschedule, I exceeded the 15 minute grace limit. I drive 85 minutes to get here, and there were 5 young ladys standing around behind counter looking for someone to help. Yes, I was frustrated.

Hands down the best ENT in all of Fort Wayne. He performed sinus surgery on me due to a very serious sinus infection. I was completely miserable - I couldn't breath, my head was killing me, I had so much infection in my nose, my checks and my head. I am so truly grateful for the skill and knowledge of this wonderful doctor. Not only is he a great surgeon but he willingly answered all my questions and provided very clear explanations. I highly recommend Dr. Rao for any type of ENT issue.

I was referred to Dr. Rao with a serious sinus infection. After showing me the CT scan it was obvious that I needed sinus surgery. Dr. Rao explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions which were many. He performed my sinus surgery and I cannot tell you how much better I feel - it's night and day difference! I am so fortunate that I was referred to this very skilled and knowledgeable doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Rao - he really is the best ENT in Fort Wayne!

After over five years and numerous tests and procedures I knew only needed to find the right doctor. My search and frustration ended with Dr. Rao. He knew the problem and corrected it with surgery. I feel he saved my life.

Dr. Rao was so great to work with after my thyroid cancer diagnosis. He patiently answered any questions I had, did a fantastic job on my surgeries, and had a sense of humor that I enjoyed. Dr. Roa is a very awesome doctor. He is caring, professional and takes the time with me. I will only go to Dr. Roa..He has helped me so much.

Dr. Rao is very kind and listens closely to me. He promptly evaluated my needs and ordered Cpap supplies for my breathing machine. He also prescribed medication which helped reduce the troubling symptoms I had for months.

I experienced a throat swallowing issue for several years but remained in denial to do anything about it. Had difficulty swallowing pills & food; found out that over time the condition became worse. I felt I could never find the right ENT Specialist whom I had faith and confidence to perform surgery. Upon encouragement of family, I met with Dr. Mohan Rao MD, ENT Otolaryngology, Ft. Wayne, IN. The doctor explained the issue, was reassuring & listened; he was very personable and super experienced in his field re throat concerns. I found the person I trusted; accomplished the pre-tests and scheduled the surgery! The surgery was a success; I am SO THANKFUL for Dr. Rao’s professional skill to guide me in the right direction.

I saw Dr Rao many years ago and I consider him the first step in saving my life. I had a dissected carotid artery, previously diagnosted by the family Dr as a sinus infection. Dr. Rao acted quickly in referring me to Dr. Bhat where I was treated and kept in the hospital for a week. I am thankful for both of these men.

Dr Rao performed a surgery on my sinuses to remove a polyp. He was very thorough and was very detailed in all that he did. He let me see CT scans before the procedure and was very meticulous in his follow-up post op visits. I would highly recommend Dr. Rao to anyone that needs to be seen at ENT.

Dr. Rao was very good at putting into layman terms my condition and what my options were. I chose to have him surgically remove a benign tumor from below my ear. I would recommend Dr. Rao to anyone.

Was great, did a vocal cord surgery twice no problems.

I saw Dr Rao in the ER after I fell and severely injured my nose. He was very reassuring that he would be able to stitch up my nose and have it look like said appendage instead of raw hamburger. He was very thorough and I now have a nose with two even nostrils. It is currently healing quite nicely. He is very experienced I am grateful that he was the one on call that day.

I had hypercalcemia and Dr. Rao successfully treated my condition with 2 surgeries on 2 of my parathyroids. I am no longer sick and tired.

Dr. Rao is a wonderful physician. He will continue to find out what ones problems is and solve it. I had a chronic cough for over a year and there was not one other doctor that could find out the problem. Dr Rao continued to search out my problems and never stopped until he found the problem. I was ready to give up. Dr Rao is a very wonderful physician.

Dr. Rao and his team provided me a very professional diagnoses and treatment for a cyst that was making swallowing and talking increasingly difficult. After several procedures Dr. Rao determined that surgery would be required to remedy the havoc created by this Thyroglossal cyst. The surgery was very successful and would highly recommend Dr. Rao and his team to my family and friends without hesitation.

It was a pleasant visit. The Doctor was on time. He explains things very thoroughly. Overall a very pleasant experience.

He made me comfortable and put me at ease with performing a cauterization on my nose. I’d been having several bloody noses and was a little nervous. He explained procedure step be step and gave me follow up info as well as a few tips. Would not hesitate to highly recommend him.

From the beginning supremely capable. Vast amount of experience. Skilled surgeon. Respected by his peers. And very thorough. Great sense of humor. If needed I will go back to him. But then I have yet to see the bill ha ha. Truly he’s worth it.

For many years I was unable to breathe through my nose without it feeling obstructed. I was always prescribed allergy medicine and sent on my way. I had never met a doctor that actually took their time and looked for the cause of my symptoms. That was until I went to Fort Wayne ENT and met Dr. Rao. He is incredibly talented and kind. Dr. Rao took his time and was patient with me when explaining the surgeries that I needed. My surgery was on Nov. 11th of 2020 at Parkview Hospital. He performed two surgeries at once (turbinates and septoplasty). He was gentle yet precise. He truly cares for his patients. I can say, without a doubt, that Dr. Rao has changed my life. I have never met a doctor like him in my life and I would 100% recommend him to anyone that struggles with breathing like I did

Dr Roa came up with a game plan and gave me options - we ended up having surgery. I'm 100% happy with it and the outcome.

I was experiencing pain in my soft palette so I made an appointment with Dr. Rao. He quickly diagnosed my issue, ordered a CT scan while in the office and determined that I needed surgery. A few weeks later, He performed surgery and was not only able to remove the growth but saved the nerve that he was originally fearful that he might have to remove. But what impressed me the most about Dr. Rao is his patient bedside manner. He is gentle, kind and compassionate. Even though this was a unique situation and surgery, he never caused me any concern or alarm because he spoke softly with great care and concern! I recommend anyone to choose Dr. Rao as an ear, nose and throat specialist.

Parotidectomy was performed on my tumor and the surgery was successful. Dr. Rao was informative, caring and a superb surgeon. He saved me from some possible undesirable side effects like facial nerve damage by doing a masterful surgery. Thanks to him and his excellent staff I am healing fast. When I first had an interaction with Dr. Rao, I was suffering from issues with my nose. He was friendly and began to ask me about the issue, he is a no nonsense type of Doctor and this is what I am looking for me. Direct and to the point, but very caring about his patients. Dr. Rao reminds me of someone to meet for dinner or have a beer with.

Went in for nose problems in June, had a surgery in July, and had a full and well recovery by the end of September! Great person, always made sure I was comfortable, and was very informative about whatever I had a question. Thanks Dr. Rao!

I have had 4 vocal cord surgeries and inner ear balance work from this doctor. Therefore I can say with great confidence this guy is the real deal! Honest, straight-forward, very feeling, and a lovable doctor and human being.

Dr. Rao is confident and obviously very qualified. When it comes to medical treatment I personally prefer a doctor that will tell me what needs done and how to resolve a situation with the least treatment possible. In my case he directed me through diet and habit changes which helped me avoid further intervention. Bedside manner is important and we all like to hear good news, but when it comes to my health I want a medical professional that puts the facts out there and that's exactly what Dr. Rao did for me. Follow-up appointment today was good thanks to his guidance. If you want the straight scoop from a doctor, he's the guy to see. I hope I don't need an ENT again, but if I do, he will be my first call.

First time meeting Dr.Rao had an appointment mix up the receptionist explained the situation to him he saw me right away thank you for your assistance I truly appreciate your help Dr. Rao explained each step answered my questions very satisfied with his service and Mary the receptionist thank you for making sure everything was correct with my appointment.

I would highly suggest to dodge Dr. Rao at all costs. He was the rudest arrogant jerk of a doctor I have ever met. He will make you feel dumb and worthless within the first few minutes of meeting him. I will be choosing a different doctor because I honestly will not have someone so hostile and nasty operate anything on me. Wow I have never experienced that bad of an a-hole from a doc and with insurance changes, I unfortunately had to switch a lot. I hope he can figure out what makes him so angry in life so he can be nicer.

I have had a sinus CT done over 2 weeks ago and tried a Zoom appointment which was a fail..so I asked if I could just be given my results over the phone..after a lot of run-round/excuses from the nurses, they said I had to make an appointment for the results!! This is why I tried to schedule a zoom appointment to begin with..I can't just keep taking off of work. They have already billed my insurance company and I don't even have results yet!! I would not recommend this Doctor or going to this location. I will not be going back to ENT

We had a great experience with Dr. Rao - he helped my daughter tremendously!

Dr. Rao agreed with my diagnosis of spasmodic dysphasia! October 10, 2019 I received my first injections. It’s been amazing and lasted over 6 months. Next injections on May 14! He was very kind and as happy as I was over the results!!!

My husband was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and another cancer in early 2019. The other cancer was more serious and dealt with first. Finally this year we met with Dr Rao to discuss thyroidectomy. My husband’s situation was complex and Dr Rao spent a good deal of time explaining the surgery and various possibilities dependent on what was found in surgery. He answered all our questions and we did not feel rushed in any way. By the time of surgery I was nervous but very confident in Dr Rao’s ability. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Rao.

Excellent Doctor! Very caring. We felt confident in his ability to handle our very difficult case. He took a lot of time to explain everything to us and our appointments usually ended up taking more time than the usual appt We never felt like Dr. Rao was trying to rush and get to his next appt. Just really appreciate every thing he did for us. He is an excellent Doctor.

Dr Rao treated my husband for white spots & hoarseness in his throat. He talked to him in a very straightforward approach about stopping smoking or this could turn into cancer. It changed my husband’s life around for the better! He has been smoke free for almost 5 years! He was very thorough and easy to talk to. Thank you for everything!

He removed my tonsils when I was a kid and then I seen him again when I was 17 for nose bleeds. He’s a great doctor and if my children or I have another issue we will be seeing him again. Thank you for being a great doctor

He was the best surgeon I've consulted with. Very straight forward, didn't mince words and told me how it was. I love my visits with him. If you are looking for a sugar coating doctor, he's not it. If you are looking for a in your face, tell you the truth doctor, he is the one for you. I would recommend him over and over again

Dr. Rao is awesome! Both of our kids had to see him and did was so good with them. After each of their surgeries he personal called the next day to check on them.

Was sent to ENT Associates by my family physician. After he screwed up and schedule me with the pediatric ENT, Dr. Rao had the next first available appointment. While I wouldn't call Dr. Rao warm and fuzzy, he was thorough, straightforward, and deeply concerned for my well-being. He went the extra mile to get me a prescription to carry me through to my appointment with an endocrinologist a month later. I'm very grateful for Dr. Rao.

Dr Rao is a fantastic Doctor. He has a great bedside manner, he is right to the point and doesn't surgar coat things. I like how honest and caring he is. If you don't wanna know the truth then don't see him. He is absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend. He was very gentle with my vocal cord check. I was in and out in no time. Thank you once again.

He was very rude! Worst doctor I have ever met! All he did was belittle me, not help me. He was very inappropriate, and made me feel very uncomfortable! Very disappointing, and first time ever that I've left a doctor's appointment in tears!

In the early 90, Dr Roa saw my kids at Matthew 25. And this speaks on his character. He is very good with children. In 2012 he saved my life.

Dr. Rao was awesome. Went to redi med on Saturday because of an ear infection. Three days later and my ear infection wasn’t getting better. Saw Rao and had so much relief within 12 hours. He was super understanding and helpful. Also has a good sense of humor :)

Dr. Rao has been handling my spasmodic dysphonia (vocal chord spasms) for a few years now. He does the botox injection into the vocal chords to help me with my voice. He does a great job and I would recommend him to anyone needing an ENT.
